“No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more” (Jeremiah 31:34 NKJV).
We
are now in the position--and have been for some time--to know God for
ourselves through right relationship with Him. What He promised through
the prophet Jeremiah has already come through the birth, death, and
resurrection of Jesus Christ. The price has been paid for our
redemption--we have been bought back--from the influence of Satan and we
are in position to hear God for ourselves--without the need for another
to speak to us. For when God speaks to us--He speaks to our hearts and
when we have a heart to hear--we obey.
When
the end comes--and it will--no man will be able to stand before The
Lord when it is time and say, "I did not know or have opportunity to
know You." Opportunity has been provided--through every avenue possible
with the advent of technology and the willingness of those to use it to
advance the Gospel until He returns.
We
will be without excuse when our time is at an end and we did not give
our hearts to Jesus and allow Holy Spirit to reign in our lives so all
could be blessed and saved.
For the promises of the Lord are "yes" and "amen" but will we receive them?
Only
time will tell, but the hour-glass has been turned and the sands are
flowing without reverse capability. What are we going to do?
I
shall extol the virtues of being saved until my eyes close for the last
time and encourage all to know Him for themselves--for it is
relationship that God seeks to have with us--not religion.
