Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. I John 4:8-14 NIVAnyone who hates another human being--for any reason--cannot know God and certainly does not have God's love abiding within their hearts.
We do not have to like people or condone what they do--but when we hate--we allow all the forces and influence of Satan to reign and destroy--his job--to steal--our joy and peace, kill any hope we have for ourselves and others and to destroy the existence of mankind.
And this is how we know who belongs to God--by the love and compassion we show to others.
Perfect love--unconditional love--casts aside fear so where there is fear--there is no love and anyone promoting fear--has no love in them.
Where there is love--hope keeps marching forward--seeking peace and harmony among all of mankind.
