"O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep" (Psalm 92:5).
Sometimes, we just need to concentrate on thanking Him for being an awesome God!
How
great is our God? If a list was created, the world would not be able to
contain it. If everything He has done was the result of someone's
bucket list--it would not be a speck in the bottom in the bucket.
His
works--are beyond mere human comprehension. His thoughts--while
certainly not our thoughts--are deeper than all the seas and oceans
combined. While we "think" we have comprehended, even a microcosmic
perspective of the world in which we live, we have not even begun to
understand His greatness or the vastness of the universe He has
created.
When we think we have reached a conclusion about His
Word, He opens our minds and hearts and takes us deeper--into
understanding His intent--for His Word so we can rid ourselves of our
own limited perspectives. That is--He can, when we reach the
understanding that no matter how much we think we know--there is so much
more to know.
The only living person who has ever been privileged to know all that He knows is sitting at His right hand. We are not Him, and the sooner we realize that God has not revealed "the totality" of His Word to any of us, the greater the likelihood we'll understand we need one another.
This
does not mean that God is not revealing Himself to us--He knows that if
one person or even a handful had deep insight to Him--even greater
chaos would reign because of pride. And so, we are humbled with the
knowledge that no one--no not one human being on earth--has
been given exclusive insight into His Word or His Character. What He
reveals--He reveals for all to know--one measure at a time, so we can
absorb what He wants us to know.
Nothing
is too difficult for Him--not healing all disease and sickness, not
creating wealth for all who obey, not giving wisdom to all who will ask,
not preparing the way to promote the Gospel for all who will seek Him,
not loving the unlovable because He is Love! Nothing to difficult for Him and because He is our awesome--we are blessed recipients of all He has to give!
How
great is our God? With all we do know--we still don't know it all, but
we can imagine! Our God is so great and awesome that we'll just have to
keep on living (until the end) to know just how great He is!

Yours, Lord!
"Yours, LORD, is the greatness
and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for
everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your
hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all" (I
Chronicles 29:11,12 NIV).
How wonderful, how great is our God?
Everything that was, is and will be--is a result of the greatness of The Lord!
He is exalted above all things because He created all things!
Wealth and honor--power to prosper and succeed--all come from Him and through Him.
He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Great I Am--He is all we need--our healer, our provider, our protector, our comforter--the lover of our souls and we will exalt His Name forever!
He gives strength to weak, vision to the blind, insight to wise, healing to the sick, comfort to the lonely, and direction to all who are willing to hear Him and obey!
Yes, Our God is an awesome God--He reigns from heaven above and looks upon His children with mercy and grace, ready to forgive when we repent, and never leaves us alone in the battle. Our God is awesome! Keeps us in the valley, on the mountain tops, no matter where we are--we are never alone--He is always there!
Who is like our God? There is none like Him. No one who can do the things He does for those who love and honor Him. Nobody greater than our God!
We will bless The Lord at all times; His praise will continually be in our mouths, on our lips, our hearts shall sing with gladness and as we proclaim His greatness to all who have ears to hear! We will magnify Him until the sun no longer shines in the universe or moves in its orbit. We will praise Him until the mountains fall into the sea. We will exalt the name of our God until there is no one left to hear--How great is our God!
Bless Him all people, of all nations, bless His Holy name while we yet have a chance! Give Him the glory that only belongs to Him. Hallelujah!
There's a praise in my soul that just cannot be held back and this is the day, I will praise Him with everything in me--I will lift my voice in song, I will clap my hands, I will dance in praise of Him and I will shout the victory I have in Him from the rooftops so all will hear--Our God is awesome--He can move mountains, dry up the seas and in an instant--restore all that was ever lost--there is nothing too hard for Our God to accomplish, when we believe and trust in Him! I am His and He is mine! Yours, Lord! Glory to God in the highest!

Action Gets It Done!
"Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday." (Psalm 37:3-6 NASB)
I am who I am--an English teacher. When I look at certain passages of scripture, I always look for the subject-verb agreement. While teaching the parts of speech, I've often discovered that verb use is the most difficult one to teach. For some reason, even though people use verbs all the time, many fail to master the use. Verbs are words that describe action or state of being. Some are active and some are passive. In the above-noted scriptures, I see a great deal of action--on our parts and on God's.
Any time a sentence begins with a verb, the implied subject is "you," the reader. We see in this passage--trust, do, dwell, cultivate, delight, and commit--things for us to do. Then, after we do what we are asked to do, we see what He will do. If we "trust" Him and do good, live in the land and cultivate (practicing) faithfulness, delight (finding ways to please) in Him; He will give us the desires (those things we want, above our needs). If we commit our ways (allow Him to determine our plans and direction), to the Lord, trusting His way is better, He will get the job done. And when He is finished doing for us--He will allow others to see our good works and know who we serve.
Awesome--just awesome is our God.
However, the reason many do not know how awesome He is is because they have yet to do their part. When people say there is no God, they are certainly not going to do what He has asked them to do. If they won't do, He won't do and since they cannot see Him doing for them, or they discover they cannot manipulate God into getting what they want, they choose to ignore His existence. Then, there are some who think that with the acknowledgment of His existence (without living for Him), their lives should be perfect without any struggles at all.
Those of us who know God, intimately, know that with His love and His guidance, there are often storms and struggles, but because of Him, we can make it through victoriously, never defeated in spirit when we rely upon Him. We understand we must do in order to see Him do.
Awesome--just awesome is our God.
He is love and He loves us (in spite of our imperfections) enough to give us chance after chance to get living right for Him. We do and He does--all things well, for our benefit.

Proclaiming His Name!
"For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God!" (Deuteronomy 32:3 NASB)
What's in a name? The power to pre-destine one's fate or not!
Many people give their children all sorts of names without thought as to how that name may play a part on the child's future. Throughout the bible, we see specific names given to people because the names actually meant something specific. That is certainly true for the name of our God.
Without getting into a list of all names by which He is known for all He does, I'll just briefly discuss--the Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord--one who takes responsibility for others--who actually determines what they do and how they do it.
Jesus--The name above all names and by which every knee shall bow before the end of this journey called life.The name by which people can be healed and delivered. The name by which we are assured all of our prayers are heard and answered.
Christ--the Savior of mankind, the One who was obedient unto death so we could have life and that more abundantly.
So, what's in a name? Lordship--giving Him control over all we do and say, Advocate and Mediator between us and the Father who is the One who determines all things, and the Savior of our souls.
Jesus--The Word--God who came down to earth in the likeness of man to prove to us that we can live in obedience and reap the rewards of obedience. God wrapped Himself in flesh and demonstrated the importance of blood-flow and blood-covenant and willingly gave Himself for us--a disobedient, rebellious people who have yet to understand His greatness, and He loves us anyway.
Jesus is Lord of all and He only is worthy of our praise and glory as He is One with the Father. Hallelujah! For the King of Kings and Lord of Lords--our Risen Savior--who gives us victory in every area of our lives when we are obedient.
Because of Him--we are saved, healed, delivered, victorious, on our way to our mansion, living an abundant life with all of our needs met and successful with everything we do. Glory to God in the Highest! There is none like Him, no other name by which man can be saved from himself! What an awesome God!
And though there are many other gods people worship, there is only One who created all that was ever created and without Him, nothing was created.
The only Wise God who knows all things from the beginning to the end; He knows our thoughts before we do and loves us so much, He sent His Spirit back to earth to guide, comfort, and counsel us at all times. No one can love us like Him! And no other god can do what He does! Our God is awesome! He can move mountains on our behalf and reestablish valleys without anyone's permission and do all things well. Praise The name of Our Lord!
