To say that our society has forgotten God would be the greatest
understatement ever made. We see the results of godlessness, every day
in every nation.
Prayer was removed from
schools because of a godless woman who thought others praying around her
children was an infringement upon their rights. Without
prayer and God in our schools--our schools have become the devil's
playground as children get involved in drugs, sexual activity,
disrespect of those in authority, and violence against them and others
runs rampant, with no end in mind because society says--we should not
pray in schools.
With the
elimination of prayer, came the elimination of corporal punishment in
schools and now that the kids know "no one can touch them" no matter how
badly they behave, we have chaos in schools and foolishness with
parents who cannot control their children and the teachers are not
allowed to control them and we wonder--what happened to academic
achievement in the schools? It was beaten up by a godless society that
permitted Satan to reign with legal maneuverings and political
correctness that has created a slow, but sure eroding of anything that
promotes Godly behavior.
Societal outrage over kids getting
spanked by their parents has led to kids controlling their parents and
no one in our society is safe--from the lack of respect of others--these
kids feel. They know and provoke parents into giving up on trying to
parent them. Parents are afraid of the legal system and kids are running
amuk--violence is on the rise and yet no one looks at the problem for
what it is--a Godless society running things and then wondering why we have the problems with kids we have.
When
politicians cave and submit to "societal leanings" about sin--we know
we're all in trouble and since those of us who know how God operates, we
know that sin is rocking the boat--hence all the troubling events--we
are all witnessing.
Chaos, violence, disrespect of all authority, unrest in all the land, fear, hatred and inhumane treatment of other human beings--this is what happens when a Godless society governs!

Prayer and Fasting
"Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly" (Hebrews 13:18).
There comes a time into the life of each one of us when we must step back and re-evaluate what we're doing. That time has come for me. I will return to my morning posting when my mind is clear and I know that the words I type will encourage and inspire those who read them to remain steadfast in the faith of our Lord and Savior.
Until then, remember The Word that admonishes us to pray for one another. My spirit has grown a little weary of society's attitudes towards Christians. I will not walk learn how to walk on eggshells simply because those who do not know God do not want to accept what God says. Though I will refrain from posting for a while, I will never stop praying and I will always say what God says.
Do remember me in your prayers that I will be able to withstand the evil that arises and surrounds us until The Lord returns. I am digging in--making ready for the spiritual battle that has already been launched.
God bless you and all of your endeavors that honor Him!

No Need To Fear!
"Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and
because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in
exchange for your life" (Isaiah 43:4 NIV).
The promise of God spoken through Isaiah--those who have been redeemed (purchased by the blood of Jesus) have no need to fear anything that appears to be devastating on the earth. God will save us in the midst of the turmoil and chaos. He will gather our children to a safe place where they will not be harmed.
When we learn to receive the Word of God into our hearts as a word spoken directly to us--we know we do not need to fear the events unfolding in the society in which we live. All things that are coming to the forefront were foretold in the past so we would have hope and have no need to be fearful. What God has accomplished in the past, He will continue to do now and in the future. If we teach our children to have reverence for The Lord and obey His Word, we have no need to fear for their futures. If we encourage all we know to come and partake of the Living Water--we get them into a secure place where they will not be harmed.
God is saying right now--though it appears that many have forsaken Him, He has yet numbered those who truly love Him and He calls us "precious in His sight" and because He loves us--He will protect us from the insolence and stupidity that seems to reign in our land.
"Call on The Lord" with a heart to hear and respond to Him and see if He will not save. For He has said, "who ever calls upon His name shall be saved." But those who call upon Him, in mockery and insincerity will have to deal the consequences and they have every reason to fear the calamities that will come upon them.
Because of our obedience to Him, God is willing to exchange nations for us. In other words, He will remove us from those who are doomed in order for us to be saved.
O God--help us to see You in all Your glory and praise You for being such an awesome God that You are not willing for any to perish, but for all to have safe passage into Your kingdom. Help us to magnify who You are by our conduct before others so they too shall receive the benefits of Your love. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen!
