But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. I Corinthians 15:57,58 NIVYou know that rat--when boxed into a corner and there seems to be no way out--it fights for its life and depending on what it's fighting, will be victorious.
Now, don't get me wrong--I'm not saying we are rats--but we should certainly have the mindset of one--believing for victory even when we're cornered and there seems to be no way out. The biggest difference between us and the rat in the fight--we have Jesus on our side and there is sweet, sweet victory in Jesus--and we conquer everything the devil throws our way!
So, just a few words to encourage your hearts no matter how life seems to be treating you.
Think victory--and proclaim The Word over every aspect of your life and those you love.
Refrain from the very appearance of evil or wrongdoing and the shut the devil's mouth.
Do good to all and for all people and watch the devil cringe.
Know how the enemy operates--he's looking for a way to influence what you think and do, don't give him an opportunity, think on those things that bring God glory and only do those things.
Celebrate the victory even when you feel defeated--feelings change so change them--Feel The Victory and Praise God for it.
Today--all day long--and every time I rise--no matter what is going on in my life--I'm praising God for the victory and doing my victory dance.
Join in the victory celebration and dance! Hallelujah!
