Our Hope In God!

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,  because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. I Timothy 4:1-10 NIV
Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on me
Mold me, shape me,
Hold me, Shield me
Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on me!

What Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts is the best intelligence we could ever receive for He knows the ins from the outs and all around us what is going on in the hearts of men, women and children. When we believe that He is indeed the purveyor of truth to all who will receive, we are fortified against the wiles of the enemy and all the lies he promotes. I am so glad I know The Lord for myself and have no need for any others to convince me of His goodness. For whatever Holy Spirit speaks to my heart, comes to pass, whether I agree with it or not. God's truth does not change based upon what we believe; His truth is truth in spite of what we believe and He never lies.

And since we know God is not a man that He should lie, and that in fact he hates liars, we do not have to wonder about the beliefs of others who claim to be Christians. If people support a liar, they do not belong to God. If people promote lies, they do not belong to God. If people attempt to malign others based upon the perpetuation of lies, they do not belong to God.

So how is it that many so-called Christians are supporting a demon? And that is what the overaged-tantrum-throwing-toddler--narcissistic megalomanic about to be sworn in as president of the United States is--and only the liars are not willing to admit what they have done. The rest of us know!

Instead of seeing what was behind the "Make America Great Again" slogan, they failed to realize the depths of deception  used by the devil who influenced the rallying cry and those who were despondent and angry chose the devil--totally deceived by the ungodly rhetoric he spewed. The plan--as we who can see beyond any bias can tell--is unfolding daily and soon--if Congressional leaders will not do their job and uphold their oath of office, we'll be in bed in Putin--simply because he has leverage over the devil elected by sightless people.

Readers beware: I can fully appreciate your engagement with my blogs, but I will not allow any person who puts their pants on the same way I do to influence what I write. I will write as directed by Holy Spirit and if that's a problem for you--Godspeed!

And while I'm brushing up on enough Russian to oppose the invasion, I'll be praying that all who truly serve The Lord, and know His Word for themselves, will be fortified daily with a fresh anointing in Holy Spirit and maintain their Hope in God! God still has the last word in all that happens in the land!

Psalm 109:6-8 is a timely prayer for those who live in opposition to God!

When Women Lead!

Now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided. She sent for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him, “The LORD, the God of Israel, commands you: ‘Go, take with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun and lead them up to Mount Tabor. I will lead Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his troops to the Kishon River and give him into your hands.’ ” Barak said to her, “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I won’t go.” “Certainly I will go with you,” said Deborah. “But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the LORD will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.” So Deborah went with Barak to Kedesh. There Barak summoned Zebulun and Naphtali, and ten thousand men went up under his command. Deborah also went up with him. Then Deborah said to Barak, “Go! This is the day the LORD has given Sisera into your hands. Has not the LORD gone ahead of you?” So Barak went down Mount Tabor, with ten thousand men following him. At Barak’s advance, the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and army by the sword, and Sisera got down from his chariot and fled on foot. Judges 4:4-9, 14,15 NIV
POLITICAL ALERT--ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD!

For those who think God will not use women to lead a nation in victory--think again. He has always used women; in fact, God has always used whoever was willing to hear Him and obey.

When people are secure within themselves and have a relationship with God, they know when He's speaking and know when to speak and to be quiet.

Our God, the God of heaven--is the same--His ways never change and what He has done in the past, He'll do again. God will deliver victory in the hands of a woman--especially the woman who has been so disrespectfully maligned by those who just don't want to see a woman as president in this country.
And that is the reason so many people are against her--the fact that she is a strong, intelligent woman--who is not afraid to stand up to bullies.

And she has been bullied--by Republicans for years and even now--before the election is even held, Republicans are planning to hold her presidency hostage with unnecessary, expensive investigations that keep the country in a rut and no one benefits. Instead of planning to work with her--to solve the nation's challenges, they are determined to inflict the maximum amount of damage to the country--not Hillary--for she can withstand anything they throw at her.

But we know how they do things--they've already proven themselves with their plot to block anything the first African American president wanted done. They were too self-centered to see the needs of the country and they're at it again--before the election is even held.

In spite of what many say about who will elect the next Supreme Court Justice and how they want someone who is pro-life, if they were really pro-life--they would stop being selfish in their own thinking and consider the needs of the country--and vote for the nominee already put before them and stop planning to destroy the nation with needless investigations. If the money they spent on investigating Hillary before had been used for something positive--like rebuilding the infrastructure, maybe our challenges would not be as mountainous as they are.

This country needs leadership that works for the benefit of all its people. It does not need cantankerous old men, who hold grudges longer than the Mississippi River. They need to get over themselves and promise to keep the country moving forward.

We need clear vision for our educational system that puts us in the forefront instead of leaving us lagging behind other nations.

We need a commitment to guarantee healthcare to all our citizens--giving them opportunity to live long, healthy lives that won't cost them a fortune.

We need lawmakers who will develop laws with clear insight for the present and for the future to protect the rights of all people--regardless of their religious beliefs, ethnicity, or skin color.

If we are going to be The United States of America--we need to unite in our efforts to fight racism and bigotry as well as terrorism. While the world watches our great divide--the enemy--both naturally and spiritually--is dancing in delight at our inability to come together as a nation of one people with diverse interests.

If we elect a person that does not understand how government works, does not understand the needs of all the people and not just the rich, does not understand what a mockery they are making of our "democracy" and refuses to respect all people--then we are a nation doomed to be the laughingstock of the world.

"In God We Trust" is a reminder on our currency, but do we really trust God in this election to know what is best for the country? Or will we allow the dictates of angry, bigots determine our future?

God knows best and if He trusts women to birth a nation, surely we can trust one to lead the nation to victory in all we need in this country.

As servants of the most High God--Believers are told to take care of the poor and the needy. In order to do that--we need someone who understands those needs--not a person who has never know a day of struggle in their life with regard to poverty or lack and can only offer empty rhetoric--making promises they have no desire to keep because the only person they see--is them--not others.

Fear Leads to Hate!

There's a reason why God didn't give us a spirit of fear--He know that when we become fearful--we develop hate for that which we hate and that includes--people--for any reason.

I just listened to a very interesting message from Jesse Duplantis on the background of black folks and the song, "Amazing Grace" in which some--had very negative comments to make. Jesse was commending the ability of black people to sing in the midst of all the horrible things that were done to them and the tragedy that befalls many black people today because of "hatred within the race" and violence perpetuated against them.

This is my response to those who think that "the white man" is the problem black people have to overcome. We must overcome our tendency to fear and hate people for no reason other than--they are different.

The "white man" is not the only race or group of people who have been influenced by Satan and his attempt to rid the earth of all mankind.

Some black folks think that it was the "white man's" greed that started slavery. That's because they either do not read or cannot read. Slavery was a way of life in Africa, but the slaves were treated more like family than like animals. Their worth was appreciated by those who kept them--fed, and from harm. But the reality is--it was the Africans who sold out those who captured and into a different kind of slavery and then the same ones who thought they were profiting from the sale, also found themselves in captivity.

Some black folks think that the black race is the only race that was ever mistreated--in this country. Historically, we know that the human race began on the continent of Africa and no matter what the actual skin color was--people were not "white" as we know white and could not have been because of the climate of that region. So whether they were "black" or brown or red or yellow--makes no difference--people who were different and are different--from those in positions of power have always been treated badly.

Every tribe of mankind has contributed to mistreatment of others in one way or another. Beheading people is not new--it is ancient form for execution. Raping innocent women and children--nothing new. Lynching people and burning them, tarring and feathering, drowning, crucifying them--nothing new. It has all been done before--to the Jews, the Gentiles, Africans, Native Americans, Black Folks and White Folks, women, children, men, and boys, of every ethnic group--and since we seldom learn from History, we are going to repeat the atrocities committed against those who had no real standing in society, but they were feared because they were different. Fear of them, led people to hate them and for those who were already in positions of power--their fear was not only unfounded, but ludicrous.

Why should anyone fear others when the "others" have no real power?  Satan speaks a word of encouragement to fear--to the hearts of those who are fence-straddlers and easy to influence and then it is game on--he who fears the most, commits the most heinous crimes against those he fears.
We know that fear is a tool of the enemy because God is love and love casts out fear. Remember that one?

If you're reading this and you're black, you may resent the implication--the use of the bible that some now say is the "white man's bible" and black people were told a lie about God all along--especially Jesus. This is why we had a radical movement that promoted a "black Jesus" over a white one. How did that happen? A few radicals went to college and got a little bit of education and decided that everything they had been taught by God was a lie. They ridiculed their mothers and grandmothers, and fathers, and grandfathers for believing a lie and after all--they had to know more than those who were not allowed to read or learn in higher education--they had been to college.

Well, to those who think they know it all, let me give you a clue. You could read every book ever written in every language ever known and still not know it all. The source of all knowledge has escaped you because you're relying upon your own ability to comprehend what you read, but really do not understand. True wisdom comes from God and understanding His Wisdom only comes with relationship with Him--not books or hatred or fear.

I was not alive when Jesus walked the earth and it really doesn't matter because no one reading this was either. I'm not going to get into any foolish debate about His race, skin color or anything else because it matters not. What matters is that when He hung on that cross, His blood was shed for me and that settles the matter--for me.

We should all be more concerned with saving the human race than in promoting hatred and fear because in my limited tenure here on earth I've discovered a few things: We all bleed when we're cut open, we all hurt when we lose a loved one, and one day--we will die. While we're living--we all--every race, ethnicity, nationality--whatever--have stupid, ignorant, vile, hateful people living among us and that is their choice. We do not have to cave to their stupidity and in fact, we should be empowered by their stupidity to really show them the love of Jesus that resides within those of us who know Him.

I know it's been said before, by many and I will say it again and I know, someone else will say it as well--LET'S GET OVER OURSELVES AND STOP HATING ONE ANOTHER, LYING UPON ONE ANOTHER, AND LIVING IN FEAR OF ONE ANOTHER! We all belong to "one race" no matter what our skin color is and that is--the greatest creation God ever created--His Pride and Joy--the Human Race.

Now, can we stop making Him regret He ever decided to create us and all of our monstrous behaviors towards one another? God is love and He can do nothing but love us--and shake His head in sorrow while He watches us--destroy ourselves out of fear and hate!
