"Tell The Truth And Shame The Devil!"

Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. John 8:32 NIV
Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want want to carry out our father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet, because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God. John 8:43-47 NIV

Although we know that Jesus was talking to the Jews who had a problem believing who He was, we also know that those words ring very true today. Liars are influenced by the devil, the truth is foreign to all pathological liars and until we are willing to speak truth and accept truth, we remain in bondage to doing the devil's bidding.

I think it's about time--everyone woke up--and started speaking the truth about daily news events and the threat hanging over us with Russia's asset in the White House. I have been saying this for over a year and some have chosen to stop following me and that is certainly their right. I will continue to speak the truth as I see it. donald trump is a Russian asset; he has been used to dismantle American democracy and we can see the effects on a daily basis with the attacks on the media, on people of color, and even on those elected officials in Congress. Whether there are those who want to admit they made a mistake by supporting trump or not is totally irrelevant. If American democracy is to be sustained, we must all speak truth to power and keep speaking it until it sinks in and when or if it doesn't, we must all be prepared to fight to save our Constitutional freedoms by voting blue in every election across the nation!

As Jesus told the Jews, the reason many won't hear my voice or the voice of others who consistently speak truth about trump is because they do not want to hear truth and they are following the dictates of the devil. It doesn't matter whether those who refuse to hear and accept truth call themselves Christians or not. If they refuse to hear and speak truth, it's because they are not "Bible Christians" but conservative Christians who are in essence--false Christians. I am a Bible Christian and I will speak truth and if people choose to hear it, great, if not--great. I will be held accountable for what I do--and they will be held accountable for what they do. I will speak truth and speak truth, shaming the devil. By the way, the title of this blog is reflective of what I've heard a number of preachers say, "tell the truth and shame the devil." It is appropriate at this time and place in our history. We must tell the truth--the world sees and recognizes the truth and they're judging the rest of us as to whether or not--we will. Russia has an asset in the WH and his name is donald trump.

For instance, the special counsel that trump keeps trying to impugn (along with a number of republican congressmen) is not conducting a witch hunt (and if they are--they're finding witches with all the indictments). The "witch hunt" theory is simply smoke and mirrors propaganda, designed to keep his base from hearing the truth. It's a tactic also used by other dictators--along with maligning the press--especially those who print and broadcast truth. The devil is afraid of truth, which is why he tries so hard to keep people from hearing the truth. For if people heard truth and spoke truth, the devil would be out of business and peace would be possible on earth--in all countries.

Another tactic being used to erode truth is the misleading information about the Democratic Party--created by the GOP to malign Democrats. There is propaganda being spread all over the Internet via blogs, ads, and videos--produced by conservative entities that are determined to suppress the vote--especially the vote of the Black Community. If anyone in the Black Community has succumbed to the GOP lies, it's time they woke up to truth--the truth is that Republicans don't want you to vote unless you side with them. And the reason they want you to side with them is so they can--call a Constitutional Convention, rewrite the Constitution, and take away the rights of all people of color and women. Don't believe me--do some research for yourself. This is all part of the plan to allow the United States of America to slide into tyranny. Look at the imbalance of power that exists and know that if Republicans remain in control of all branches of government, there will only be a dictatorship governing.

Look, this is not about abortion rights and religious freedom as those "conservative (false) Christians would have people to believe--this is about our democracy--about putting country before political party. If we don't, we all suffer the consequences and none of us will survive the outcome for long. We already see increased cost at gas pumps, transportation of food and goods, and in October--the increase in healthcare insurance will be more than many of us can afford--all because of party partisanship that cares not one whit about the people. The fact that elected officials have lined their own pockets and bank accounts is the fault of those who voted for them without paying attention to their open agenda--they did not hide their agenda, but they were counting on people to put political party before what's best for the country. And here we are!

However, just because we're here--facing the possibility of seeing the demise of American freedoms, we don't have to let it happen. The only way we can stop what's happening right now is get out and vote and vote Blue--No Matter Who! We have to vote Blue in every local, state--primary and general election to get America back on track to sustain our Democracy. If we fail to do that--this November 6, 2018--we may never get a chance to vote again. Again, don't believe me--do some research and determine the agenda that trump is pushing in order to give Putin the advantage over America. I will never stop fighting to keep our Democracy strong and to keep a dictator from running rough shod over all.

In Michigan--for our primary on 8/7/18--vote for Gretchen Whitmer for Governor and Dana Nessel for Attorney General and Ellen Lipton for CD09 and Kristina Lodovisi for state Senator.  In November--Vote Blue--again for Gretchen, Dana and all other Democrats on the ballot. For Supreme Court Judges--vote for Sam Bagenstos and Megan Cavanaugh to balance decision-making.  Don't allow GOP tactics to keep you under the thumb of a rising dictator in America.

Across this great nation on November 6, 2018 rise up and vote in numbers never thought of before and make your voices heard--We Do Not Want A Dictator ruling this country--so Vote Blue--No Matter Who--across the land.

 

Continue In Faith!

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through our blemish and free from accusation--if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in this gospel. Colossians 1:17-23 NIV

No matter what idiocy we see from the White House, no matter how much we hate to see the fate of the nation in the hands of an unstable, inept administration, we must continue in the faith--refusing to budge from the hope--that we will be victorious in the end because it is God's desire that we succeed in all things that are like Him.

The rub--for many and felt by many--is the consistently false notion that only Republicans are true Christians. We see--the world sees--this is not true since their only concern is appeasing the rich and their corporate donors; they have no concern for the poor and the vulnerable. Therefore, their behavior is not Christ-like and they can have no claim to being followings of Jesus Christ. We are told in The Word, we shall know who belongs to Christ by our love for one another.

Love does not seek to hurt, harm or abandon--leaving people totally disenfranchised within a society that is supposed to have governance for all people--not just some.

Love--unconditional love--lifts and encourages, provides the means to ease suffering, making sure the poor eat and have shelter. There is no love demonstrated by the GOP in Washington that will remotely help the poor. However, there are Republican governors who are speaking up to protect their constituents from the ravages of not having appropriate healthcare. We have yet to see how the most recent atrocity of a healthcare bill will proceed.

For those of us watching in the wings, we must continue in the faith we have that no matter what they do--we still have a job to do. We must continue, openly opposing actions that will devastate millions; we must continue to support those who will speak up for the poor and the needy and where we can, we must get actively involved in the process by running for something--a political office where our voices can be heard and we can make a difference.

It is because of my concern about the present administration and their lack of ability to understand how government works in a democracy that I'm driven--by love for all--to run for President in 2020. This is why I shall reference this often in all my subsequent blogs as I lay the foundation, seeking support to make this run a reality and not just a possibility. We Can't Stop Now!

My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one; clothe yourself in splendor and majesty. In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility, and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds. Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king's enemies; let the nations fall beneath your feet. Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy. All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from palaces adorned with ivory the music of the strings makes you glad. If we concentrate on what is ahead of us and not linger too long about what's behind us, we will see the great things God has for us. We are not defeated, even if we are moving slowly towards our goal. Sometimes, it takes careful, deliberate movement--cautiously proceeding to avoid the snares and pitfalls the enemy has laid out before us.

If we do things in a hurry, and inadvertently fall into a pit--who will be there to pull us out? If we become snared in the very thing we're fighting--who will disentangle the truth from the false?

Though the road to success may be distant and arduous, don't give up! Remember Rome wasn't built in a day, and this fight--is worth the effort because our victory will change the way we do things forever--shoring up democracy for generations to come instead of allowing one family--to destroy it and us.

Remember the Alamo! An entire culture was threatened with extinction but they survived.

Remember the Nazis! A horrific regime that was determined to destroy an entire nation of people because of their beliefs and though many died, many others survived.

Remember all of the things that seemed impossible and know that with God, nothing is impossible for us to accomplish. With Him going before us, nothing and no one can stop us from making sure truth is revealed and fascism in this country, stopped in its tracks.

There are more us than there are of them--remember only 62M + people voted for the GOP travesty we are now experiencing. Our role now is to convince the other 261M to get out and vote and to vote blue! We must convince all Americans to put country before party! Though some may mock our efforts now--they will applaud them when they understand truth and why we continued the fight.

No matter how hard we've worked or how dismal the prospects may seem, we can't give up now! We must continue with all the fervor we can muster, determined to stand firm, and even though we may have a step back for a moment to regroup and refresh, we shall never give up! We can't stop now! Victory is on the horizon and we are closer than we were in December--so keep up the fight and see the reward of our efforts.

Every day is a new day for us to renew our determination to keep America functioning as a democracy should where all have a right to speak their thoughts aloud and all have a right to have a say in our government and who should govern us, without interference from a foreign adversary or the promotion of false propaganda. We cannot allow anyone to take that from us. Democracy is the foundation of this Republic and will not stop fighting for its existence! 

Finishing The Race!

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:1-8 NIV

No one ever said that living a life of righteousness would be easy. In fact, most people are warned about the traps of temptation that Satan would set the moment a person accepts the love of Christ in their hearts. To avoid the pitfalls, one must always keep their eyes on the prize that can only be obtained if we stay in the race.

In the midst of hardships, turmoil and chaos, confusion, stress and doubt--we must never lose sight of our purpose--whatever that purpose is for we will not achieve our goal, if we quit before we reach the end.

Think of a marathon--any kind of marathon--the goal or purpose is to finish and we all know--there can only be a limited number of winners--those who finish ahead of all the rest. But most people who enter a marathon are not doing so to win, but to finish--for them the finish is a win--and no matter how difficult the course becomes, no matter how tired they get or much muscles ache, their determination to finish is their reward.

This is the determination we must all have in life--to finish--whatever it is we start that is honorable in God's sight--by staying in the race. Though we may get tired from all the obstacles put in our path, we must keep our eyes and hope on the end--when we'll see the fruits of our labor and know we were on the right side of history.

And this is what The Resistance is all about--staying in the race--the goal to see wrongs righted in our society and force truth to surface by any means possible--at the end, to see all treated with equality and ability to live in peace and harmony.

No matter what each day brings--especially when it seems that efforts are wasted--we don't give up; that's just the trick of the enemy to create doubt in the minds of those who are determined to stay the course.

We continue the fight for justice against tyranny by keeping one another encouraged.

When we feel overwhelmed by news reports that appear to take a turn; we back up, rest and refuel the drive that led us here in the first place--ready for the next fight.

Wisdom is the principal thing and with all our getting--we must get understanding of all we read, hear, and see that could alter the direction of our fight. We cannot be deterred by minor setbacks and lies yet uncovered or by those who refuse to speak truth when asked. We must believe that there are others who will uncover all truth and even if the truth uncovered is not what we expect, we must be prepared to accept--the whole truth and nothing but the truth--no sugarcoated lies, no half truths, no white lies, no little lies and certainly--no alternative facts.

Though there may be many battles and all not won--we can rest assured that in the end--the war against tyranny, hatred and bigotry--will be won with Jesus on our side. We just have to stay in the race--no matter what!

I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes  9:11 NIV

Did Republicans Read This?

“Do not spread false reports. Do not help a guilty person by being a malicious witness. “Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, and do not show favoritism to a poor person in a lawsuit. “If you come across your enemy’s ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to return it. If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it. “Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits. Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty. “Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent. “Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt.Exodus 23:1-9 NIV

Considering the fact--stated previously in another blog post--everyone in this country--except the natives and the imported slaves--is an immigrant (or descendants of immigrants), why on earth do we feel we have the right to totally disregard others?

Forget about the "legal" immigrant--when the colonists first came to this country, the natives didn't give them legal status--they took over the land and proclaimed it their own--even naming it and trying to turn the natives into them. And they're still doing it!
But this is the group--the Republicans--who claim to be Christians (actually pseudo-christians with no relationship with God) who apparently either didn't read what God said or didn't understand it.

• They spread false reports about Hillary (yes, I know she "lost" the election but let's analyze why).
• They blatantly lied about aspects of Hillary's tenure in the State Department by telling half truths (which are whole lies) and taking things out of context.
• They accused her of being responsible for the loss of life in Benghazi when she had no control over the situation after people had been warned to get out.
• They almost cost other people their lives with the spread of the ill-advised lie promoted by Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones about Pizzagate when a man rushed into a pizzeria with an assault weapon on a mission to save kids that were never there.
• They accused Hillary of murdering babies at nine months when any fool should know--at nine months--a baby is delivered.
• They spread the lie that God chose tRump to be president when God never voted and never told anyone to promote this lie.
• They have lied about the existence of relationships with Russia and all is coming to light.
• 45 has lied about so much that I can't even keep it all straight any more--part of the plan in gas-lighting people--but I do know every time he opens his mouth, he lies.
• 45 is devastating the national debt with his "budget proposal" because he doesn't have a clue; yet he's costing tax payers millions a day with secret service protection in New York, and all his weekend excursions to escape responsibility.
• Why go to Mar-a-lago? He can arrange to talk to Russia without government monitoring. WE'RE NOT STUPID!
• All of their "alternative facts" are believable by people without a functioning brain--the rest of us know better.

So, just looking at all the stupid that is unfolding every day, I cannot say that I believe any of the Republicans read the Bible, have a relationship with God, and they are certainly not Christians--not by a biblical standard.

This is why it is incumbent upon every American with a functional brain to actively resist the tyranny in the White House. This is not about being a Democrat or a Republican--it is about saving America from the throes of those who would attempt to change our democratic process into a dictatorship! Bannon, Miller, and all those with connections to the Russians and praise Putin--are responsible and most of the filth has already spread into every government agency and no one wants to take responsibility for it. CLEAN-UP ON AISLE 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE NEEDED.

If we sit or stand silently by and allow this to continue--we are all at fault and God will hold each and every person accountable who did not stand for truth, and equitable justice, or defense of the poor and the needy. That's the biblical standard we must live by--not a political party's biases.

Watching Deceptive Practices!

Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:1-9 NIV

One of the most interesting aspects of being involved with those who fight for justice against those who attempt to oppress or tyrannize people is the fact that we don't give up and all we do--is transparent, open to public scrutiny, see in the light--not plotted in darkness or secrecy.

Though there are those who would take the side of the oppressor and rail against us--we keep going--never allowing the banner of freedom and truth to fall by the wayside as so many have done in "giving Trump a chance."

Many of those who "gave him a chance by voting for him"  are now experiencing "buyer's remorse" and the saddest part of all is to see those who have said, they regret allowing their emotions--"their hatred of Hillary" to lead them to vote for a person who is so thin-skinned and vindictive that he can't see why he lost the popular vote.

With the decision to move forward with the pipelines--many have expressed--directly to him through his Twitter account--have disgusted they are with him--to ignore the Native Americans right to protect their land. But don't take my word for word it. All of this can be seen on the Twitter Page dedicated for those with Trump Regrets found @Trump_Regrets.

Aside from those who are experiencing regret--there are those of us who did not trust him from the beginning because we saw who he really was--long before now.

And those executive orders he's signing--are simply his way to get back at President Obama--because his insecurities lead him to believe he has to exceed--go beyond--anything President Obama did in an attempt to make himself superior to Obama. His obsession over surpassing President Obama is obvious to anyone with eyes not covered with blinders. I've said before that Trump suffers from a cognitive disability that drives his personality disorders and every day--he proves how right many are in drawing the same conclusions. And nothing he does or says will make him even half the man President Obama is. The difference being--President Obama had a heart for all Americans and it showed--even in those things I didn't agree with him. 

Interviews with those who thought he was going to save them--coal miners in particular who need the healthcare accessible through the ACA, are now worried. And so are others who see "executive orders" issued that will affect their rights.

His moves to blatantly support discrimination are obvious and have ignited a fire under a number of groups who will not allow him to turn the clock back on their rights.

Whether people want to believe him or not is their business, but any time a person in authority has to create "distractions" to keep people off focus to what's really going on is a sign that we are no longer living in a democracy, but spiraling into the depths of a fascist regime--where one person--Trump--thinks he is the final authority. For those who worship him as their god, so be it. 

For those who believe in the God of Heaven, the creator of all things and without whom, nothing was ever created--our trust is in God and we will do all He puts on our hearts to do. We are the true Believers--the ones who live by The Word--loving all unconditionally, no matter what the circumstance. Those who resist Trump do not hate him--we simply recognize him for the despot he is and are rising against him as people have done for centuries.

We The People--all Americans--no matter what our skin color, politics, religion or gender--will fight to make sure the constitution is upheld by every elected official and no rights are violated simply because of petty vengefulness.

For those who don't want to see truth--but are giddy with excitement over the "alternative facts" presented--do your thing and just remember this: When there is a ship in the middle of the sea and there are no lifeboats available when the storm rages and overturns the ship, all aboard will suffer the same fate.

The colonists left England to get out from under the thumb of a monarchy. We do not have a one-person or even one-family order of rule in this country and we won't. The ax will fall and when it does, it will do what an ax does.

We Are Not Russia's Puppets!
