Success Begins With A Step

No matter how badly we may to accomplish anything worthwhile, until we make the first step to get it done, we'll never know how successful we could be. This applies to every area of our adult life.

Too many times, far too many people are inhibited from seeking success because someone told them they couldn't or wouldn't be able to do what they wanted to do. I've heard those same comments, but I want to make sure everyone knows--you never know what you can do until you try. Success stories seldom occur because life just dropped success in someone's life. People have to try and some have to try harder than others. There is one exception to this quaint notion--and that's for those who were born into luxury and had everything they ever wanted--handed to them, while they made no effort at all to accomplish anything. Whatever is accomplished by the rich and famous without effort is not success--it's privilege and often not very fulfilling. That's one of the reasons the "rich and famous" do more stupid than the average person.

But let me get back to the discussion at hand. The best way I can offer insight as to what I'm suggesting is to provide examples from my own life.  Since I've shared portions of my life story countless times in my blogs I won't bore the reader with redundancy. So, let's start with my move to Houston--where I knew no one, didn't have a job, and no money to speak of. Some said I was crazy to try, but then--I've always loved a challenge. I moved, found employment and stayed four years. The only reason I left was to support my mother while living in the same state (I had been supporting her financially for two years and it was becoming burdensome).

For me, coming back was the biggest challenge--with a potential job no longer available to me, I had to wonder how I would make it, but I did. I'm about as tenacious as a pit bull--refusing to let go. At any rate, I managed to do what was needed and found a job I loved. That ended with a car accident that prevented me from doing the job--mostly driving. At any rate, sitting at home for three years waiting for lawsuits to be settled, I decided to go back to school and finish that BA I'd started many years earlier. Funny thing about going back to school in your 40s, you feel out of place in a classroom with much younger students, but I decided not to let that bother me. I ended my last semester on the Dean's list with a 3.6 GPA. Imagine that!

From there, I decided I loved learning and continued my education--completed a MA, obtained my teaching credentials passing all the required testing--the first time. Then I decided, what the heck, might as well keep going, so I applied to a graduate program, was accepted and completed all the coursework towards a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (teaching teachers). A significant change for the worse in the teaching field caused me to pause and rethink the direction I was taking. I no longer had a heart to encourage people to enter a field that was not a viable career. When I retired, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but the 2016 election--propelled me in the direction of political activism and that is where I am right now, seeking support for a presidential run in 2020.

I'm not just seeking support, I'm actively involved in the process as some readers may know. I'm happy to report that all the top slots for Michigan government that I supported and promoted were successful. I spent hours knocking on doors, distributing literature, and making some phone calls. I spent even more time promoting the candidates online and talking to people wherever I went. My first time on an election ballot resulted in a loss, but it didn't deter me. I was on the ballot for a precinct delegate and the person who won--by 18 votes-- has never put in an appearance to do the job--I did. As a result, post-midterm election, I am now on the Executive Committee of my county's democratic party, and a current nominee for secretary for the local Democrat club. My involvement with my online promotions for candidates got me more attention that I thought. On a personal note--just so some understand--there was no pay involved in anything I did--all volunteer--all to make sure Democrats won in Michigan. And I'll do it again, as often as needed. The upside to all of this is--I met all the candidates and had chance to talk to them. People are beginning to recognize me and it's all because of a step I took.

There are some who think I won't make it to the White House. They may be right, but their attitude won't stop me from trying. I've already taken the steps needed towards success, but not everything we try is successful as others measure success. What I've been successful at doing is getting my name out there in the atmosphere, stratosphere, cybersphere or however one wants to call it. I've had people threaten me because of my political stances and distaste of trump. I've had people applaud me because of my political stances and distaste of trump. So, success is all about the angle or perspective from which one is looking. I'm headed in the right direction to achieve my goals and right now, I'm confident I'm going to get there. How Did We Get Here?

The allegations of sexual assault and subsequent hearings conducted this week have set the entire country on edge and everyone has an opinion about who's the most credible.

I watched Dr. Christine Blasey Ford provide her testimony with tears running down my face because my heart was moved and my mind triggered about the abuse I had also suffered at the hands of despicable human beings. I've related my story a number of times so I won't bother to repeat what's already been said, but as I listened to Brett Kavanaugh and recognized the lies behind the belligerence, rudeness and total disregard for the positions of the senators, I began thinking, "how did we get here?"

After talking to my husband and remembering the attitude of our society from the beginning of time, I realized that men have never considered women their equal and they have always felt it was their right to treat women anyway they wanted to and the women were supposed to shut up and take it. We're not going to be silenced and we're not taking it any more. This upcoming election will be the proof of that.

But just to review--the ugliness of our history--let's start with the way men didn't think we couldn't own a house, have credit cards, have good paying jobs, had sense enough to know how vote and a couple million other things. Women have been raped for centuries and had no recourse because the men--in law enforcement and in the courts and on juries, didn't believe them. Getting tired of not being believed, a lot of women simply stopped reporting the assaults. The #MeToo movement--in more recent times--has empowered many people--men and women--to step up and speak out about sexual abuse and bravely named their assailant. And still, not all women are being believed as we saw in the recent testimony from Dr. Ford.

What has fascinated many people is the number of men who have come forward and told their stories about being molested and raped by other men and in some cases--women. Why on earth are we as a society of supposedly civilized human beings still in a place where a person's body is not respected and some don't understand that, "no means no." This only applies to adults who are capable of saying no, but it certainly does not apply to children who are intimidated and bullied into keeping silent. Aren't we better than this? Is one person's sexual insecurities worth ruining lives of others?

Rape--is not a sexual act--it is an act of violence, perpetuated against people against their will and usually at the point of a threat. These angry, vicious, insecure people who think their manhood hangs between their legs need serious counseling because raping others, doesn't make them me--it makes them cowards of the worst degree--especially those who abuse children.

How did we get here? We got here because in this society we have failed to value women and their worth. We got here because there are too many men who have no control over their sexual appetites and their low self-esteem. We got here because there are no laws governing oversight of men's bodies because the lawmakers are 90% men. We got here because too many women have been taught to be submissive to abusive husbands. We got here because the church leadership has misled their congregants about the bible and the intent of the words contained within. We got here because too many women and men don't understand how their own bodies function (the science of hormones). We got here because of ignorance and gullibility--the low educated who believed the lies because they don't know any better. We got here because too many people have been complacent over decades in refusing to exercise their rights as an American citizen. We got here because apathy prevails in a nation where people think they don't really matter. We got here because the wrong people have been elected and the masses misled into re-electing them. We got here because we failed to teach our male children they do not have a right to put their hands on a female whenever they wanted to do so. We got here because too many women--acting upon their own insecurities in trying to attract or keep men in their lives--have allowed the men to think, we're all like them. This is simply a partial list of how we got here and now we need to determine how we move forward, eliminating the tragic events that have caused so many to live with anxieties and fears.

We can and we must change our tactics and start believing children and women when they come forth and speak out about sexual abuse and molestation. We must believe and support all who tell their stories and make sure they know--they are valued and worthy of our belief in them and our trust not to judge them wrongly for things they had no control over (and we've done that, too).

We can start changing the course of events with the upcoming election on 11/6/18. We can AUTHORIZE AND EMPOWER WOMEN to write legislation that provides more protections and remedies for those who have been assaulted. On a personal note, I'd like to see at least two bills written and made laws: Any time a man is convicted of rape, he should be castrated. Any time a man refuses to pay child support, he should sterilized. If this sounds vindictive and vengeful--you don't know my story.

As a reminder for some who may have forgotten what I've written in the past about my story, I'm including a letter to Brett Kavanaugh and tweeted to most of the GOP senators who seem either not to understand the predicament Dr. Ford described or care.

Sexual assault is not a partisan issue it is a cancer and stain on our society and we must eradicate it. That may only occur with electing the right people, getting rid of the wrong people, and learning to see ourselves as better people.

  

 

Women of America--now is the time for us to have a say over what happens to us--our access to appropriate medical care and to the laws of the lands.

This is just the beginning of my journey--I'm on a mission to make life better for all, but especially children and women. Are you with me?

I'm Tired!

I'm tired of all the lies and all the liars!

I'm tired of Republicans acting like there's nothing wrong with trump.

I'm tired of the white Evangelicals making excuses for the WH menace.

I'm tired of trump supporters' inability to think for themselves.

I'm tired of the media outlets allowing ignorance to manipulate the news cycles.

I'm tired of seeing children separated from their parents being treated like animals.

I'm tired of people who know truth but won't speak up to help end this nightmare.

I'm tired of politicians who are afraid to speak truth to power because they might lose an election.

I'm tired of all the people who complain, but won't vote to change things.

I'm tired of listening to the cult expound the lies they've been told and believe.

I'm tired of those who won't uphold their oaths of office and are allowing this country to sink.

I'm tired of apologizing to our allies for the nut job in the WH.

I'm tired of watching rising prices for gas, good and healthcare.

I'm tired of people thinking that Democrats can't be Christians even though we're more Christian than the Republicans who apparently don't know Jesus.

I'm tired of the evil ones who use the bible to perpetuate their evil.

I'm tired of not knowing where all this will end--in the next year or two.

Okay, so I'm tired and I'm sure there are millions of others just as tired as I am of all the stupid we've had to endure. There is a way out from under the stupid--people simply have to get out and vote and vote for the party who has a heart, not just ideological beliefs.

Regardless of party affiliation or none--it's time for Americans to step up and take control of the situation and vote for Democrats up and down the ballot in every city, township, and state. We must start where we live with local elections and then spread it out to all the general elections so the United States of America will have a chance to preserve our democracy for future generations.

We Do Have Choices!

No matter what "traditional thinking" is regarding tribalism when it comes to politics--we do not have to vote for a person just because they're in the "right party" or because of their political careers or celebrity status or their gender. What should be important to all, in any election, is the candidate and what they stand for. (Shudder now known tribalists).

I know there are some who say we should vote for those with political experience. The problem with that is--if those are the only people we vote for--no one else ever gets a chance to learn how to govern. We cannot be expected to know or understand those things to which we have never been exposed. However, committing to being a life-long learner puts in a position to learn and do. After all, what's the point of learning things if we never have an opportunity to apply what we've learned.

Therefore, in the 2018 election cycle--there are many people who have never entered into politics before now but chose this moment and hour to make a difference. Not only will this hold true for the 2018 election election cycle, but for 2020 election cycle and every election cycle afterwards until the United States of America is truly governed by, the people--the Everyday Americans--who understand what is needed for all.

Since the Republican party--(Conservatives or whatever they choose to call themselves) have abdicated their responsibility in allowing a fascist to run rough shod over America, it's time to let them rest and reconsider the role they could have to play in American politics. In order to make sure we fully root out the problems--I think the Republican party needs a 20 year rest--just enough time for them to regroup and rethink what it means to be an American and who Americans are. Until they understand this--they should never be in a position to legislate laws or govern anyone, but themselves.

In essence--in order to purge the evil intent, greedy corrupt malefactors from Congress and local governments all over the country--the #BlueWaveTsunami is a must--to save humanity and our planet.

No matter what ethic group we identify with or gender or religious group--no matter what our political party affiliations are--we are all Americans and we should respect all Americans whether we agree them or not--it's called "choice." We do not have to denigrate those with whom we disagree nor do we need to try maligning them to make ourselves look better. In fact, any time we have to resort to "dirty political tactics" by dredging up every known and unknown thing about a person, we have wasted precious time and resources that could have been used to exalt what we want others to remember us by--where we stand and why.

So, here's the point of this particular blog post--I am a Black woman who is daring to entertain the idea of running for president in 2020. Some have said, I won't make it because my limited political experience; some have reminded be of the odds against me simply because I'm a Black woman, and some don't think I can withstand public scrutiny and daggers thrown by those opposing my run.

They have a point--though I began this exploration with limited political experience, I'm gaining insight as to what I need to know by becoming a precinct delegate and being appointed to my city's Zoning Board of Appeals Commission. I'm competing training modules provided by the National Democratic Training Committee and learning from those who have already cleared the path. I will be the 8th Black Woman or the 9th Black woman to run for president (if Kamala Harris gets her paperwork in before me). Being a Black woman is not going to deter me from seeking to do good--it never has and it never will.

I have a heart to save and a desire to push America forward and help prepare everyone to handle the technological challenges and in restoring our global position with other nations. I am an Everyday American, with no political baggage, no celebrity status, and no desire to be a "bought" candidate. No one can bribe, bully, or blackmail me about anything. And yes, I am an imperfect human being, which makes me a Flawed But Fearless Fighter for justice for all. I've accomplished quite a bit in my life and I don't plan to stop accomplishing until I'm dead (in about 34 years from now). I'm choosing the candidates I know will fight for all--not because of gender or party, but because of who they are in 2018. I hope in 2020--people will do the same--and vote for an Everyday American--in every election--to govern all Everyday Americans.

 

Corruption In The Midst!

 

They have sunk deep into corruption, as in the days of Gibeah. God will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins. Hosea 9:9 NIV

Mob boss mentality. Organized crime tactics. Payola. Rudy Giuliani. Donald J. Trump. Mike Pence, FBI agents (loyal to Giuliani), NYPD, Fox News, Sean Hannity, Jim Jordan, Mark Meadow, Matt Gaetz, Most Congressional GOP, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Ronna Romney McDaniel, Devin Nunes, Trey Gowdy, et al.

These are the people who have deliberately conspired to undermine democracy in America and are yet collaborating with the enemy--within the White House.

Did you ever imagine seeing what is happening in America--right now? The Oval Office resident, taking instructions from Vladmir Putin to keep him exposing "salacious truths" about a Russian visit--that from all accounts--have been verified with flight logs and credible witnesses. Did you imagine that?

Did you ever imagine having our election process tainted and hacked by those who are afraid of losing control over people? That is why they're doing what they're doing--fear is driving them which proves there is no love within any of them.

Did you ever imagine that an elected leader would instigate and ignite so much hatred in the land that people actually think they have a right to taunt, maim, and kill those who don't look like them or worship like them--just because?

Is this America--land of the free, home of the brave when one segment of the population is steering elected leaders to squash and undermine the Constitution?

The corruption is deep-seated and in high places, wearing ties and suits, beginning in the White House and trickling down the hall and out the door up the hill--fear washing away common sense and civility and decency and honor and integrity until there is nothing left but anger, hatred and bigotry where everyone is suspected of doing something wrong based upon feelings where no evidence exists. All a ploy to cover up the involvement of so many who wanted to win an election so badly they were willing to sell their souls and they did, but now--the end is near and all the corruption is about to be exposed simply because--"whatever is hidden or done in the dark shall be revealed."
All the angst and screaming and shouting and redundancy--won't matter. Innocent people--don't fear investigations and they don't keep screaming the same lie--day after day, to whoever will listen and by now--no one is listening to the false proclamations of--No collusion.

Consider this for a moment--a pathological liar who lies about everything (being his own publicist and his net worth), to crowd size and approval ratings and celebrity (only the foolish believe) is going to lie about everything else and we see--thanks to Stormy Daniels (who has really created a storm)--just how corrupt Donald J. Trump is and will be for he knows not the way of righteousness. All he knows is how to blame others for his ineptness and incompetence and in how to rape the United States Treasury--without regard to the fact that tax payer dollars--don't belong to him.
But then--that's the way dictators act--they raid the treasuries so they can live luxurious lives, while they burden the poor and the needy for they have no use for them. We see this in all the overturned regulations that allow air pollution and contamination of water and soil and who does this hurt the most? The poor saps who believed he cared about them and now--they're beginning to see--albeit a bit late in the game--he cares for no one but himself.

They failed to see how corrupt a business man he was and is. They failed to take note of the lies he told about Hillary and others for making up lies is what he does best. They failed to take off the blinders of idol worship to see and understand what was right in front of them--Corruption with yellow hair and a long red tie waving in the wind of callously calculated deception and demagoguery. Now, they have to live with it just like the rest of us, only we who see--are fighting back--resisting the evil that lurks and permeates the very air we breath, choking those in DC and keeping them toeing the line of corruption that's about to break and deliver them all into the pits of hell, they dug.

Don't blame Comey, Rosenstein or Mueller for the corruption in which the evildoers are mired. Those who are fighting to see truth prevail are not responsible for the corruption, but will make sure justice prevails and all the corruption is known along with the corruptors who think they can hide behind their positions as lawmakers.

There is another group of people responsible for the deceptive flimflam we see--White Evangelicals who claim to be Christians, but know not Christ and we see it in their efforts to control others, disregard the rights of the poor and the needy and in lying to the general public about the monster they claim--has come to know God--yet their proclamation is without evidence of any fruit--you know--the fruit of the Holy Spirit--the evidence He is now in control--you know--love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, hope, faith, (integrity & honor), patience, and self-control. They promoted a person who doesn't even know what civility means and therefore we certainly can't expect him to conduct himself--civilly--with others--and he doesn't. No class, no decorum, no integrity, no honor, no decency whatsoever and they--the White Evangelicals--claim this person is God's choice to lead America. How quickly they learned to lie and are promoting the continuation of the lie just so they can garner control over what others do. In the end, God will have His way and they won't like what awaits them and all other liars--the lake of fire.

But as bad as it all seems there is hope--God will turn it around to benefit all He loves. And that is the key--God is love, not hate and love will triumph over hate. And all who know God, belong to God and understand that, "perfect love (unconditional love) casts out fear" will see the darkness dispelled when truth is revealed.

It's time for a change and all who know how to love--unconditionally--can bring change into effect and reach others so nothing like this will ever happen again. Make a commitment to vote Blue in every election in every state so evil will never again have a chance to wreck our democracy in the guise of "false patriotism" promoting fascists.

Which Way Do We Go?

There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. A lot has been going on in our society lately, especially in the political arena and in DC. With all of the uproar and rumors, eventually the truth will be known, about everything, not just one thing, about one person--but about everything and everyone involved in deceiving America. The cover is about to be pulled off the hidden stuff and there will be much grinding of teeth and angst. We already see it--fear--has caused total incoherence in the White House, but they'll never admit it.

How do I know? I pay attention--to what is said, by whom it's said and watching the conduct of all those who claim--they're innocent.

Innocent people are not afraid of investigations--they welcome them--especially when the truth will set them free from any doubt of wrong doing.

Innocent people don't threaten other people with illegal detainment and arrest and prosecution.
Innocent people have no problem answering questions from whoever wants to ask.

Innocent people welcome the opportunity for total transparency so they can move on with their lives without concern about being "exposed."

Guilty people--on the other hand--are always decrying victimization by others and it's always someone else's fault.

Guilty people are read by their body language which indicates--something hidden and fear rises to the service making them stammer and stutter.

Guilty people don't know when to shut up--always have to accuse others of what they're guilty of doing.

We've heard a lot from a number of people this week--too much for me to try to regale in this blog post so I'll just try to hit the highlights.

As if we didn't already know--Donald J. Trump is the biggest liar on the planet and those who speak on his behalf--like Jim Jordan are liars after the heart of their master. How do we know--Stormy moved across the television screens of many; Comey stood up the bully and spoke his truth about all that occurred in the first five months in the WH as it pertained to him; Michael Cohen was exposed for being an attorney with a limited clientele that included the megaphone from Fox News--Sean Hannity--who attempted to further conflate the exposure by lying--claiming he had never hired or paid Cohen, but thought he had attorney/client privilege. It's either one or the other, not both. And then--to top it all off (and the week is not even over), Trump tweeted that Comey lied about why he was fired, when it was trump himself who told Lester Holt on national television that he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation. If that wasn't juicy enough--we learn that trump called another attorney, Jay Goldberg who told him if Cohen was faced with a rigid federal sentence, he would probably flip. Now, that call was made last week, which explains the myriad tweet rants this week.

Some days, I just have to cut off the news to maintain my sanity because every day, there's more lying and complicity and now--most have of us have determined that there is evidence out there that proves beyond a shadow of doubt that trump is a treasonous traitor.

But there are other traitors in Washington--those who have been partakers in the RussianRubeJob--taking money from Russian oligarchs thinking they'll never be found out. I guess that's why 43 republicans, including Paul Ryan are resigning and that number may continue to rise as truth is revealed. Some have already left--like Jason Chaffetz in hopes of warding off being exposed, but Justice--though blind will find and make known the truth.

Proof enough that we need new leadership and direction in Washington--people with morals, values and integrity and a will to serve the people? I think so and am more determined than ever to be ready in 2020 to serve Everyday Americans because--we deserve better and we must go with truth!

 

Serving A Socialistic God!

There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your fellow Israelites who are poor and needy in your land. Deuteronomy 15:11 NIV

This list of scriptures regarding the poor could go on for a long time. It is significant to note, that God has always been concerned about the poor--those who for whatever reason are not able to take care of themselves as well as those who have riches. He has given us instructions as to how we are to treat the poor and yet--because of the Republican party--who claims to be Christian, does not understand socialism the way God demonstrated it. Notice, I did not say how God defined it, but how He demonstrated it. If they understood socialism as God demonstrates it in His Word with all of His instructions to all who believe in Him, they would not do everything they can to destroy the lives of the poor and the needy.

Republicans have plotted to destroy every program instituted to help the poor--with no remorse and in fact--some have been, "gleeful."

Destruction by slashing funding for the Affordable Care Act--hurts the poor more than it helps the rich.

Destruction by slashing funding for food assistance hurts the poor.

Destruction by slashing funding for education hurts the the poor.

Destruction by dismantling all the safeguards regarding our environment hurts the poor (those in coal-mining communities will soon see this as well as those who will be harmed by the pollutants in the air.)

Destruction by slashing funding for any government program serves only one purpose--to hurt the poor.

Republicans often criticize Democrats for their socialism--because Democrats increase spending to help the poor--but then the Republicans claim to be the party of family values and morality.

Everything they do to destroy the poor, proves they lie and if they read their bibles with understanding--they would know how God feels about liars. But they won't--because they think they know everything and the rest of us know nothing. And it is because of their blindness they think we don't see the corruption and the blatant raping of America's Treasury--enacted by all the corrupt cabinet members installed by Putin's directions. We see and we know--the evil that flows from the White House that the Evangelicals have tried to sugarcoat as all being part of God's plan. They lie!
The bottom line for me is this--God is not really interested in my political party affiliation--He's more interested in what I do that honors Him--in all things and that includes providing for the poor and the needy. So, my goal as the next president will be to make sure the needs of the poor are addressed and that funding is available to stabilize America's future endeavors for all (healthcare, education, food, job training, care for senior citizens and veterans).

It's not that I think we should "give anyone all they want" and that includes the politicians who are running rampant through tax dollars to appease their egos, but we should be a support for those trying to climb out of poverty and help to make our country productive and economically sound. I'm a registered Democrat and will probably remain one as long as I live since my values align with God's instructions.

 

No Collusion?

The Republicans on the House Intelligence (oxymoron) Committee has determined there is no evidence of collusion on the part of anyone in the trump campaign--a conclusion they announced with the termination of their investigation.

I'm not an attorney, but I've worked with a number of them and it seems to me that this conclusion is premature at best--complicit at worse:

When there is an investigation of anyone to determine any wrong doing, all stones should be looked under to see what may be there. Since there were a number of "witnesses" who refused to answer questions--claiming "attorney-client privilege" when none existed and since the chairman of the Intel committee refused to subpoena them, they did not conduct a thorough investigation. Of course, Devin Nunes has his own reasons for terminating the investigation. The truth was about to reveal his part in the complicity of the Russian meddling.

Here's the thing, no matter what happens from this point forward--Republicans are not to be trusted in any public office and no one who is sane should ever consider voting for them again.

There has never been as much turmoil and stupidity running rampant in the White House, spilling over to Capitol Hill as there has been since January 21, 2017. Putin's influence and sway (whatever it is) over trump is costing this country dearly and at this point--no other country or world leader should trust us since we have proven, we can't be trusted to handle our own domestic affairs.

But we can earn the trust back with upcoming elections. We must elect responsible adults to be in public offices and right now that means--we elect Democrats--who care about all people. We must vote blue in special elections, the midterms in every state and again in 2020--to elect a president who thinks with their brains, not their guts.

Of course, the final verdict about "conspiring against America" has yet to be made and even when Mueller makes it--we cannot count on the Republican-led Congress to do its job and divest themselves of any so-called loyalty to trump. But a flipped House and Senate--Democrats leading--will put America back on track and we will see beneficial change for all.

Who am I that any should believe me? Take a little time and do some research and discover--who I am and where I stand. I am an American with heart, compassion, and a desire to address every need of other Everyday Americans. Right now, I am a LittleKnownEducator, but give me a few months and all of that will change.

The War Declared on America--Before 2016!

 

Before the election in November 2016, a coup was being planned by Russian operatives (with Putin’s blessings), and the Republican leadership, with Donald J. Trump and they declared war when they chose to accept financial support from Russian Oligarchs, with knowledge aforehand for Wikileaks to engage in questionable practices of cyber pilfering, conspired to rig the election in their favor. With the additional assistance of paid trolls and bots — they effectively duped and conned gullible “Hillary Haters” into believing all the nastiness they produced and promoted on social media, convincing them to vote for The Rapist.

On November 8, 2016 — with all the plans in place — the war ensued and the noxious Republicans were the victors and now they plan to gather the spoils of their war by further raping and pillaging the Treasury of the United States with their Tax Scam Bill. The tax cuts designed to “repay donors” will eventually dilute and diminish revenue sources needed to keep the government afloat, but that wasn’t enough for the Corrupt Greedy Old Predators. They also made sure they benefited mightily from the changes in tax structure so that while it seems the middle class benefits (if they make over $100K a year) — they don’t. Only the rich benefit — the poor and vulnerable will probably not survive for the next ten years. Cuts to healthcare assistance, education, and the roll back of consumer protection regulations will Kill Millions in America. The deaths of millions of America won’t bother the warmongers because then, they won’t have any opposition to Resist them and America will cease to be a democratic republic, but instead will be a dictatorship — led by Greedy Old Predators — who prey on the poor and vulnerable — no heart or compassion residing within.

Knowing the gullible will not read a 503 page document, the Greedy Old Predators proceed to lie to them, holding out a carrot of a couple of thousand dollars saved a year (for only one year), without explaining the tax cut is a temporary measure for them, but a permanent for the corporations whose CEOs have said, they don’t need the tax cuts and they will not invest the savings into creating jobs. Trickle-down economics has never worked and it won’t work now.

In addition to pilfering the Treasury (by The Rapists and the millions billed to the treasury), the Greedy Old Predators are also sitting back, twiddling their thumbs while The Rapist plans to ruin our national monuments and encroach upon Native American land — without thought or consideration as to what the damage will do — their only concern — is greed and since The Rapist is used to filing bankruptcy — it won’t bother him at all to bankrupt America, but the Greedy Old Predators are too blinded by their own greed to see what’s about to happen. At least that could be true of many, but certainly not Paul Ryan who has chafing at the bit to gut social security and medicare — probably because they serve as reminders to his start in life — a start he’d like to forget and pretend he’s been “in the money” most of his life. How cruel and abominable their actions are against the vulnerable in our country!

But it’s not just the Greedy Old Predators in Congress to helped to bring about this demise of a great country by first nominating and then electing a sexual predator — the Evangelicals — the “holier-than-thou” misfits who promoted the narrative that God chose The Rapist. Apparently, they meant the god of this world, not the God of Heaven because the God of Heaven would not choose anyone who doesn’t know Him to do any great thing. Regardless of what the Evangelical community spouts — The Rapist is not a Christian and won’t be no matter how many times they “lay hands on him and pray.” The devil is a liar and we know The Rapist belongs to him.

It is ideological premises that have led us to this place — “those wearing the label of Christianity, yet know not how to do the work of the label” and not true Christianity. True Christians know that God is love and that He has commanded us to love one another and to defend the rights of the poor and the needy — not the greedy.

It is the existing tribalism in Congress that will keep us in a place of subservience with the Greedy Old Predators in charge. They would rather vote in lock step with The Rapist rather than make country and their constituents a priority in their decision-making.

All of this has been said before — in many different ways — but saying it again and as often as needed, will hopefully cause the gullibles to wake up and smell the stench coming from the White House and determine to do something about it — while they have a chance. That chance will arrive on November 6, 2018 — for us to create a Blue Wave Tsunami and truly take our country back from the Greedy Old Predators and The Rapist — recovering our status with world leaders who think we have collectively lost our minds by allowing such an abomination reside in the White House.

We can do this and all it takes is for everyone who can read and think to consider joining other Everyday Americans and setting this stagecoach upright — reclaiming our time! We need fair and balanced decision-makers in Congress, not tribalism and certainly not Russian plants.

We Have Power and Authority!

While the religious are working to undermine the Spirit of The Word of God, we who have received Jesus into our hearts and live to please Him, know we have power by Holy Spirit to accomplish all things--loving all unconditionally--and in doing The Word, not just spouting The Word.

The power and authority are not just given to us to preach the Gospel, but to live the Gospel and to carry over into our everyday lives. We have the power within to receive all the visions and gifts Holy Spirit has for us in order to accomplish all we need to do here on earth.

Unfortunately, there are some who are acting as if the power we have through Holy Spirit is intended to have power over people to control them. God never intended for people--especially not Christians--to control others, but to share the Gospel with them so they, too could receive Holy Spirit and allow Him to control what we do. That's the Power that needs to control, not the rich who think they are all "powerful" and have a right to dictate to others. The evangelical movement has forgotten what "evangelism" means. It is not about forcing others to share a viewpoint, but to spread the love of Christ and the Gospel message which is "love" not dictatorship. The power we have is not about being religious, but to keep us in Relationship with Christ.

When we love, we do so without hesitation or confrontation, but with acceptance that we are all one race--the human race--and we are all entitled to the same fair, equitable treatment by all. This is not a question of loyalty to a party, but it's about loving other human beings, not controlling them. I've said this before and I'll say it again, "God allows us to CHOOSE our paths" and no one else should intervene, knowing there are consequences for whichever path we take in life. That's God's way; it is not the way of evangelicals who think they need to control others--especially women.

For the rest of the Believers--we must choose to exercise the power and authority given to us through Holy Spirit so we can promote love, integrity and honor in every arena and event in which we participate. GOD IS LOVE! He loves us in spite of our imperfections and He never told us to put political party views over the care of one another. The least we can do is to love others as He loves us and "defend the rights" of the poor and needy. That's what He expects us to do--not control people.

I can't speak for others, but my only desire in running for President in 2020 will be to serve the needs of the people, not to beat people into submission to my will or the will of a political party. Robber Barons

Dear Congressional GOP:

After you voted to pass the tax bill that no one had read this morning, I think we can safely conclude you are indeed--21st Century Robber Barons--along with your wealthy donors and lobbyists.
Robber-Baron--an American capitalist of the latter part of the 19th century who became wealthy through exploitation (as of natural resources, governmental influence, or low wage scales) (Merriam-Webster definition).

You have decided that appeasing your donors was more important that representing your constituents (60% of whom were against this bill) which means among other things, you cannot claim to represent your constituents and we can claim "taxation without representation" since you ignored the calls and letters submitted by Americans. That means, a tax revolt--the foundation on which this country was founded--revolting against evil.

Before you attempt to take the high road, let me remind all of the hypocrites who claim to be Christians, yet know not Christ. How do I know you don't know Christ? Because Christ would not promote or support--ever--abandoning the poor and needy. In fact, we are told in The Word of God to defend the rights of the poor and needy. "Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." (Proverbs 31:9) But I guess the only time you open your bible is to just read, not understand or to lift a scripture out to quote to those gullible enough to believe you belong to Christ. If you cannot do Christianity, don't wear the label--it makes you a hypocrite.

Would Christ concern Himself with providing tax relief for those who own private airplanes or golf courses?

Would Christ tax scholarships for students trying to further their education so they can be more productive in society?

Would Christ eliminate funding sources that inhibit access to affordable healthcare for the poor and leave those without health insurance to die from inability to continue treatment for terminal illnesses?

Would Christ ignore the very basic principle or tenet of Christianity--loving all--unconditionally?

Would Christ eat in abundance and live lavishly while others went hungry?

Would Christ build a wall to hinder those seeking shelter and safety from doing so?

I suggest, strongly, dear Republican Hypocrites that you have never read what Jesus said in Matthew 25:33-45 in any version of a bible. Therefore, let me remind you by publishing it in this letter and perhaps you and your staffers (hope they make more than $75K a year or you may see a revolt) can meditate upon the meaning and then read from a version of your choosing.

He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When you stand before God on Judgment Day, what will you hear Him say? "Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Matthew 7:23 or "“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'" Matthew 25:23

I live my life as a Christian--doing the label and not just wearing it--and I know when I stand before Him I shall hear, "Well done!"

You have time to change your course, but since you are arrogant and believe you're right, you won't. I would say, I would pray for you, but then, that would dishonor God's Word when He told Jeremiah--“So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen to you." Jeremiah 7:16 NIV You might want to read the first 15 verses for context and understanding. Fits all of you!

So, believe this: I will do everything in my power to persuade, cajole, encourage, convince voters across the country to stop believing the Republican lies and to turn the country Blue in 2018 elections and 2020 elections! You see because in the Word of God, the Democrats are the righteous since we do what The Word says do and you are on the goats on the left--defying His Word to support your greed and corruption.  You are indeed--the epitome of a Robber Baron operating in the 21st Century as an appendage of your lobbyists.  Never again!

#Resisting and Deterring the evil of the Republican Tribalism

Giving Thanks!

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. Today--encourage all to enjoy the day--giving thanks for all we have, all we didn't get when we wanted it and for all the miss-steps we've taken in life in order for God to get us where we are. I love me--just the way I am--but didn't always for the way, I used to be. But now, I have a reason to give thanks--daily--the grace of God that has sustained me through trials and wrong directions for over 65 years.

Listen, I've been there and done that--facing all the challenges and struggles I know many have and are facing. I know what it's like to be a single mother raising two children in the depths of the ghetto, always praying for their safety as well as my own.

But I'm a big girl and I learned to take life's knocks with a spring-back attitude. I never let one failure or disappointment keep me down. That doesn't mean I wasn't discouraged from time to time, but I refused to allow discouragement and discontent keep me from my destination even when I wasn't sure where I was headed.

I had a dream and I put a lot of credence in dreams. For years, I dreamed that I was running through a school, trying to get to class and though I always started out fully dressed in the dream, I always ended up naked--wondering why people were staring at me. When I got a chance to go back to school in my forties, I stopped having the dream. Not only did I complete my BA in Sociology and English, I kept going until I finished a MA in English and Speech and then completed all the coursework for a Ph.D in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in English and Special Education.

During a lay-off in which I didn't have a full time job for two years, I had an opportunity to really look at where I was headed. I realized that teaching was no longer a viable career and I couldn't/wouldn't attempt to encourage anyone to go into a field that did not offer a wage comparable to other professions and one in which very few people respected teachers. When I finished the coursework, I stopped--no longer interested in completing that particular path for it no longer had meaning for me and my passion subsided. Don't get me wrong--I still love teaching--it is my passion, but I could not look another person in the eye and encourage them to get into that field.

At any rate, I retired and am working seven hours a week--teaching college courses. But then came the 2016 election and Hillary lost (with Russia's help). I, along with millions of others railed against the rigged election, and started working social media to vent. On the night #TraitorDon launched missiles into Syria just to flex his muscles, I dreamed I had a conversation with him. In the dream, I told him I was running for president and he told me, I couldn't because I wasn't qualified. I told him I was more qualified than he was and then I woke up. I was attending a tax march and watching others and listening to their concerns, I reflected upon the dream and here I am, months later, preparing my run for president in 2020.

Not everyone understands what's driving me to do this--especially since I have no previous political experience--but I have a passion to represent all Everyday Americans and to make sure they have a voice in the White House. People I've talked to are more concerned about Republicans digging up dirt than I am. I'm not afraid of any discoveries since my life is outlined on the Internet in various mediums.

No matter what others say, I will not be deterred; especially if Democrats are successful in flipping the House in 2018. If I lose, I lose, but no one will ever say I didn't try. After all, I'm planning to win and I'll never know what I can do, unless I try.

I may not be the perfect candidate, but there are none. So, here's what I have--a desire to serve, considering all and not supporting or promoting any policies that cause harm to people, planet or economy. We do not need to build a wall to keep immigrants out; we need to build relationships that solidify positive forward movement. We need to provide accessible, affordable healthcare to every American. We need to focus our attention on making sure our children have access to a quality, free college education. We need to make sure our senior citizens never have to worry about where or how they're going to live because of their limited incomes. We need to shore up our justice system so justice is equitable and fair no matter a person's income, gender or race. We need to secure our standing on the global stage by being #1 again in the eyes of other world leaders and doing all we can to make sure the world can live in peace and we can keep our planet sustaining life, not destroying life.

My ancestors were not immigrants, they were imported to make life better for those who migrated from Europe to live in this land. There are groups of hate-filled, bigoted people who desire to deport every person who is not white in order to "preserve their race" with white privilege. I'm not a hater, don't understand hate and don't want to understand hate. But I will not stand by and silently allow any group of people to attempt to silence or denigrate others. I'm a known rebel and I won't stop when I know there's something I can do to help others.

Only Republicans Matter Now?

Has anyone noticed that Americans have all become Republicans? You missed that phenomena, too, huh? Pay attention to the rhetoric that comes from the GOP, the White House Administration and of course, trump. They really believe they have a mandate from America because of the election rigging and illegitimate win — across the board for Republicans.

Almost every sentence starts with — “Americans have given us a mandate” or a version thereof. “He’s being given a mandate,” Kellyanne Conway told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota on “New Day.” “And that mandate is going to be somewhat different than what we’ve had, it’s a repudiation of some of the things we’ve had.” [Hate reigns in the hearts of trump and his enablers]

KATIE PAVLICH: The Republicans now have a mandate. We have a Republican in the White House. We have a Republican-controlled Senate and Republican-controlled House. We have had divided government for a long time and as Paul Ryan said today they have a lot of good ideas on the table that they’ve been trying to get through that were obstructed by Harry Reid for years that they now are going to be able to push through as a result of this election. [Fox News, Special Report, 11/9/16] [Isn’t our democracy supposed to represent all the people and the “divided government” acting as a check and balance so all benefit? When one group makes all the decisions without any consideration for others — it becomes a dictatorship, not a democracy.]

Now, it would appear that because of the election rigging and the electoral college bribery, that Republicans are determined to only govern — Republicans. None of their policies or agendas have taken into consideration the rest of America — just what 62M angry, misled, and hate-filled people decided (many of whom now regret their decision). A mandate — normally entails what the majority have determined — but the 2016 election was anything but normal and it would appear that we are far from becoming normal again, any time soon.

But let’s look at the actual facts (numbers don’t lie unless manipulated by those who skipped their math classes).

Now, let’s not forget that Hillary won the popular vote by 3M votes — and because trump hates to lose — he’s sold a bill of goods to the gullible by promoting the notion that the 3M votes were cast by illegal immigrants — a fact that has been debunked, repeatedly but the gullible will believe a lie much quicker than the truth when it suits them. And the gullible — those who will swallow anything because they don’t like to research information and have limited critical thinking skills — keep promoting all the lies and false propaganda engineered by the Russian regime with an assist from the GOP. Their win — is not a legitimate win and will be proven so in the very near future, but that won’t stop them from destroying America — under the pretense of doing what’s best for Republicans.

Let me see, now. Do Republicans not want to save the planet for their descendants? Do Republicans care about not having clean water to drink or are they okay with the toxic run-off from coal mines and industrial complexes poisoning the water? Do they care about the rollback of consumer protections and rampant repeal of regulations that keep not just Republican children safe, but all children who eat produce covered and embedded with chemicals that will eventually, lead to their deaths? Do Republicans not understand the ramifications and eventual consequences of a nuclear war? Do they not know that radioactive fall-out won’t ask for a voter’s registration to determine who it will kill or where victims will be located? Are all Republicans part of the 1% that tax cuts will benefit or is it just the 200 families that will hold all the wealth and the rest of us — well, we’ll eventually die out and who will be left to work for the 200 families? Will they plant gardens, work in factories, man phone-lines, create all they need to subsist or are they setting themselves up to die as well?

No matter how much money or wealth a person may have, if the land (and water) is toxic and nothing grows — all will perish. I wonder — have they given this a lot of thought or are their actions — merely reactions to their hatred of Obama? Considering the fact that Republicans were supposed to be the party of “family values/morals” it is difficult to believe any of them are Christians since they have no love for anyone other than themselves. Apparently, they do not understand that Christ promoted love for all, not just the Republicans. I don’t think they’ve given this the time needed to come to a logical conclusion. Whatever happens to the Democrats they hate so much, will also impact the Republicans since we all live on the same planet in the same country.

Getting back to this so-called mandate — if we consider a mandate being what the majority want — the mandate would be for Hillary to be in the Oval Office, making decisions for the benefit of all Americans — not just the Democrat party. Therein lies the real difference — Democrats govern for all the people, Republicans — just them and those who praise them and support them. Some how, that doesn’t sound like a true democracy; it sounds more like an authoritarian take-over in which only one group — the Republicans in this situation — govern for just their group and the rest of us — “be damned.”

The prevailing attitude of the GOP leadership and trump makes it even more important that Americans Vote Blue in the coming elections so All Americans will have a chance to survive. Democrats — in recent history — have been the only party that considers what is best for all Americans and not just other Democrats or those who support them. Therefore, we must use our collective voting rights to turn this situation around so all can sleep at night — knowing there will be a new morning in which we can all enjoy living in America.

We need to put in a place — an elected person who will govern for all — reaching across the aisle of Congress to make the best decisions for all and who is not afraid of a challenge, and has a heart filled with love, not hate. We can make it happen, by remembering that we are all in this thing called life — together. The decisions made that affect one group, will affect all Americans. Let’s do this — We can raise the standards for all Americans and do it with love, not hate guiding all we do.

When The Lord Delights In Us!

I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.
He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18:1-3; 16-19 NIV

With all of the craziness going on around us, we must take a moment or longer to think about who really loves and in whom we can truly trust. My hope is in Jesus and I know when I do what He would have me do, He's delighted in me and I will have all He has promised in His Word. Since He is not a respecter of persons, whatever He has promised me and will do for me--He will do for others.

So take heart! We have not been forgotten by The Lord even though things seem out of kilter in the world. There is chaos and confusion, we cannot deny, but when we know the Lord, we know the origin of the chaos and it is Satan, for the Word says, "God is not the author of confusion," and that "all things should be done decently and in order." No many how many pseudo-Christians try to tell us that God chose trump, we can see this is a lie by aligning his actions with the Word of God.

God hates liars and has prepared the lake of fire for liars. Sound like anyone we know? Let's look at recent proclamations!

 

Notice the signature--his--and the date--October 5th 2017--fabricated to counter the notion that he's a moron. Creating this fake certificate actually confirms that he is--indeed a chronic moron who thinks those with a functioning brain would ever buy into his nonsense. Oh wait--some did and lost millions of dollars behind his fake Trump University. I can imagine anyone who stayed long enough probably received a similar fake certificate of completion. His actions make me wonder if he actually completed a degree as he claims. Nothing else he says is true so it makes me wonder. No transcript or degree has been produced so we only have his word for it--like Forbes only has his word about his "self-proclaimed wealth."

 

Then, when he lies and the lies are exposed, all his spokespersons--those enabling his lies and pathetic behavior, love to spin it into something it never was. His claim of having a higher IQ than Tillerson or anyone else is a lie and the above chart reveals he has no clue as to how an IQ test is ranked or its significance--which many don't believe.

What's really sad is Sarah Huckabee Sanders role as press secretary who lies without blinking and yet claims to be such a righteous Christian and does not understand that her lies will reserve her place in the lake.

When insecurities rule a person because of fragile egos and multiple personality disorders, there is no truth told and everything trump is to bring him validation, not to unify a country. He is as most have already determined--a narcissistic megalomaniac pathological liar and only cares about what he wants or what makes him look good. He'll fabricate things just to make him look more important than he is and we know the Word says, "we ought not to think more highly of ourselves than we are." He proclaimed Columbus Day, Columbus Day like it wasn't already on the calendar just so he could say--he did it. I'm not sure he realizes that all of the holidays and special days are already noted on most calendars and have been for years.  If he was really mindful and a "Christian" as some purport, he'd know that his deeds speak volumes and expose his lies.

He says he's not a racist: He called the Black football players in the NFL SOBs (they were the only ones kneeling when he made this remark), but called white supremacists, "very fine people." He has made the issue of the NFL players kneeling about disrespecting the flag, country, and anthem because he refuses to address the racial injustices that exist in many police districts--which is the reason for the kneeling. The fact that he's now bullying the NFL and denigrating anyone who openly criticizes reveals his desire to be a dictator, not a president. He has yet to demonstrate understanding of the Constitution's 1st Amendment rights--for others--while he says whatever comes out of out of his dark soul.

His spokespeople claim (Kellyanne specifically) that he's, "compassionate and cares about others." Would a compassionate person bring up past debts to those on an decimated island or throw paper towels to the residents? Would a compassionate person care more about the crowd size when he shows up to assess storm damage? Would a compassionate person ignore the deaths of four Green Berets and say nothing about their deaths or service to this country? I could say more, but what's the point? Those who choose to believe his lies will and those of us who know better, will never believe anything he says.

Whenever I see a lie by trump or his spokespersons, I address it on Twitter and FaceBook his favorite means of communication, and I will continue to speak truth to power whether he or his parrots acknowledge it or not. That is the job of every Christian to speak truth, no matter what, dispelling lies spoken by those serving Satan.
