Where Are The Watchmen? (Part 3)

Son of man, say to the Israelites, "This is what you are saying: "Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?" 'Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?" Ezekiel 33:10,11 NIV

If we are--born-again, true Believers and know we are Spiritual Israel--do we hear Ezekiel speaking to us now?

For those who are truly Believers and know their role as watchman, we hear and we must continue to warn the people to turn from their evil ways. Turn now, while they yet have a chance.

I'm going to go on the wall today, beseeching the Republican Congress to turn--turn from the wickedness that allowed them to sit in Congress today; turn from the evil they put into the White House, and turn back to God--acting with integrity and knowing how to live as Christ wants us to live.

Turn--from the evil that keeps them from seeing the devastation they wish to put upon the poor and needy, depriving them of the ability to live long healthy lives.

Turn--from the evil of greed and corrupt riches and see God in all they do, knowing our God is not concerned with material riches, but the state of the soul in all things.

Turn--from having a blind eye, disavowing everything revealed about the current evil that resides in the White House and all they do to erode democracy.

Turn--from being obsessed with power--illegitimately obtained with the help of Russian hacking and disinformation.

Turn--from disavowing truth with deflections, distractions, denials, and distortions created in the minds of evil people who will face truth.

Turn--from feeding main stream media misinformation and outright lies just to support talking points of a deluded party.

Turn--from misleading the gullible and creating an atmosphere for their continued frenzy of hatred and bigotry.

Turn--from the loyalty to party and turn back to loyalty to country, upholding your oaths of office.

Turn--from trying to appease corporate donors and the wealthiest of the population when it will bring ruin to many families.

Turn--from promoting attitudes of superiority, feeding the hate-filled frenzy of the white supremacists and other hate groups.

Turn--from thinking that God is not watching or has turned a blind eye to the lies and corruption bubbling over on a daily basis.

God is not mocked and knows the heart and intent of everyone--those who believe in Him, obey Him and those who don't.

The Republican-led Congress is not doing anything to benefit Americans, but to destroy American democracy to appease a madman who knows no truth, and will sell America to the highest bidder, which happens to be Russia--to compensate for his debt to them.

How long O Republicans will you not do your jobs? How long O Republicans will you allow 22 million Americans to suffer? How long O Republicans will it take for you to admit your role in the corrupted 2016 Election? How long will you deny participation in the most devastating corruption of a Presidential election of our times. How long? How long? How long will it take you to turn back to God--confessing, repenting, and resigning? Is saving face by going along with the foolishness more important than saving our democracy?

You have a responsibility to America to do what's best for all Americans and if you abdicate your responsibility, whatever happens to you is what you deserve.

I'm seeking the support of every American, regardless of political affiliation to support my run for president in the 2020 election. I am more than qualified to fill the position per Constitutional requirements and understand how government runs, have no Russian ties or Connections, no political baggage to lug around, love to read and write and don't play golf. I am wise enough to know what I don't know and to seek the expertise of those who do know and heed sound advice. My integrity does not have a price tag attached nor do I cave to intimidation or bribes. If this sounds like the type of person you want for president, please let me know I can count on you when I declare my candidacy, officially, at a later date.

Where Are The Watchmen?

Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their head. Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone's life, that person's life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchmen accountable for their blood.' Ezekiel 33:2-6

Every born-again believer is called to be a watchman for the rest of the world. When we see danger coming, it is our responsibility to sound the alarm and warn the people. When we don't do our job, and people are harmed, God will hold us--who refuse to sound the alarm, making sure the people are warned of impending danger--accountable for all loss of life and any harm to others.

I take God's Word seriously and have been sounding the alarm for months. Some have derided my attempts to warn, some have listened, but many have ignored. The time is coming and it is soon approaching where every man, woman and child will have to make a decision in resisting the impending doom about to fall upon America and our democracy. We can submit and succumb to the fascism looming, or we can resist and remember how we came to be in the first place--fighting back to protect our freedom.

I won't belabor the point, but I would encourage any and all reading this post to read all God said through Ezekiel and to understand the importance we all play. I don't mean shouting from the rooftops, "The sky is falling." I mean exclaiming to all you meet and greet and interact with on social media that a plot is afoot to deny Americans basic rights--freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the right to vote for our choices, without interference. Don't take my word for it, read the independent publications as well as the Main Stream Media publications. Knowing is half the battle; how we win depends upon what we do with the knowledge we obtain. If we do nothing, we get nothing; if we act upon what we receive, we make the world a better place for all.

So, what are you going to do? I'm going to continue fighting back, alerting everyone that the Republican Party has been compromised by white supremacist groups and they desire that no brown or black people reside in this country. They are fearful of having "white skin tones" obliterated and are in dire straits to protect and preserve "white privilege" at the expense of the others--without regard to the fact that we are "one human race" established by God, not men. They are guided by hatred and bigotry, not love and they observe religious activities, but do not have a relationship with Jesus.

I'm Living to fight all the way to the White House so everyone will know--there is a voice speaking out and up for the Everyday American who loves all and recognizes all life as precious--regardless of the outer complexion.

 

Looking Ahead!

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” Revelation 21:1-8 NIV

Are we getting closer to the end--as we know it--and the beginning as God has shown it us?

The answer to this question will vary depending upon who is being asked. For those who cannot see beyond the moment and are living in despair--they would say we're getting closer to the end. For those who understand that we cannot reach the end of a goal without moving forward, intuitively (naturally and spiritually), they would say, this is the simply the means to get to the new beginning God has promised.

While I refuse to live in despair or be fearful of the things I see, I am also not afraid to speak truth and warn others to be vigilant in all they do. As a watchman, I must be brave and courageous and speak truth whether people want to hear it or not. For if the warning is heard and acknowledged and things fall apart--people will be prepared to make adjustments--including fighting back or taking other precautions in how they live. If people choose to ignore the warnings and are surprised by the outcome of any event, their folly is on them--the watchmen is free from judgment.

Ezekiel said it best--if watchmen see danger and do not warn the people--their blood (any loss of life) is on the watchman's hands. If the watchmen warn the people of impending danger and the people ignore the watchmen, their blood is on their hands (whatever the consequences are).

I have warned people for months of impending dangers of having a total novice in the White House--one who has never sacrificed anything in his life to serve others--one who has never seen the importance of serving others--one who has never served in public office to accomplish anything worthwhile for others. And yet, in spite of the warnings, church folks--those who claim to know God--lied on God and convinced others to vote for a man who does not know God and avoided serving in the military with trumped up excuses and is now the Commander-in-chief of the same military he refused to serve.

The same man--of which I warned people about for months--has now determined that those with mental illness have the right purchase guns. The coal-miners can go back to polluting surrounding water supplies in order to make a buck. The economic sanctions have been lifted against Russia even though they undermined our democratic process by hacking into a political party's system (both). Legal immigrants have been impeded from traveling back to the United States because of a fearful, impetuous man--who gave no thought to his actions by implementing an unnecessary ban against a religion. White Supremacists and the KKK have been removed from the "terror watch" list in order to accommodate the systematic suppression of rights of all Americans. Civilians in Yemen have lost their lives and one Navy Seal lost and others endangered because the man with no experience, decided to consult with others with no experience, and carried out a raid without sufficient information from those with knowledge.

The pro-lifers who claim that life is precious from the beginning of conception, have no concern about the lives of human beings after they arrive from the womb. This they have proven, time-after-time. They deregulate corporate policies designed for the production of safety--in the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink--just to make corporations rich at the risk of our health. They polarize the country with fear and lies about the healthcare system so all would be covered-without a replacement and without concern about the health of the nation. And yet they say--they are "pro-life." What a hypocrisy!

Arrogance and ego governing in any capacity is a dangerous thing as we are about to see with his--bullying tactics--against those who are in a position to fight back and win.

In spite of the stupidity that abounds--I will trust in the Lord and I will continue to warn people of the plots of evil that surround us--especially about those who are plotting a military coup. We know this because of all the events unfolding from the placement of Bannon on the National Security Council, to the eliminating of background checks for gun purchases for mentally unstable, to the isolation engendered by keeping other world leaders antagonized against us. Those who hear God--know what is coming ahead, but we also know--no weapon formed against those who belong to God--will have any lasting effect to harm us.

Look ahead--keeping God's Word in focus--and doing whatever God says to do--being assured of obtaining all He has promised.

Speaking As Approved By God!

For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from people, not from you or anyone else, even though as apostles of Christ we could have asserted our authority. Instead, we were like young children among you. Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well. I Thessalonians 2:3-8 NIV

As a messenger of God for Gospel of Jesus Christ and a watchman, committed to telling the truth as God shows it to me and warning of impending danger, loving all unconditionally as He has commands, I declare at this moment, I will not ever write to please men, but as God speaks to my heart.

For I have noticed, through observation and actual experience that when we attempt to please men, we fall short for we can never please all the people all the time--nor at the same time. So, I've learned to not try pleasing people for it is a futile exercise and time waster. Since I don't know how much time I have left on the earth, I choose not to waste my time with the silliness and irrelevance of trying to please people. For which person--clothed in flesh covered bones--has heaven or hell for me? Not one person has heaven or hell for me therefore, I do not have to please people. However, if a person is pleased by what I do or say in my determination to please God--so be it. But my goal--is pleasing God--not people.

A caring mother or father would will always provide the child they love with instructions to keep them safe from harm and directions to keep them on a path of success in life. That's exactly what the bible does for all who love God and claim Him as our Father and Jesus as Lord of our lives and Savior. Though they are one in purpose, I understand the distinction of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Indeed, I trust my Father to speak to my heart at all times and Holy Spirit to deliver the fully interpreted message in a way I can understand it and share it. For I recognize the way of God and His Holy language is past my understanding and I need Holy Spirit to help me rightly discern what is being said.

With the bible--written by men as God spoke to them--we have the blueprint that should be the guide to how we live. Before men began writing, God was speaking to those He chose to be His messengers and scribes wrote as instructed. Since Jesus returned to heaven after completing His mission on earth, we--everyone who believes--all have access to hearing God through Holy Spirit if we are willing to hear. Understand, when God speaks to our heart, Holy Spirit interprets so our minds will accept what is being spoken to us. Unless Holy Spirit interprets what is said--we veer off the path that God plans for us to travel and when people "think" on their own about what is right, chaos ensues.

Does not The Word remind us that, "in the multitude of counselors there is safety?" And in other passages (in Proverbs) we are warned that those who scorn knowledge will soon provoke destruction and unfortunately, the destruction will not just destroy them, but others.

I'm praying daily, almost hourly when time permits--that in the coming days the electors in our Electoral College will have hearts to hear God speak and vote the voice of the people and acknowledge the popular vote. For the mandate of this election is the voice of the people and the electors should honor their voice. Though there are some who will not agree with what I've just said, they're entitled. I'm looking forward and see nothing but destruction with a president who cares nothing for protocol or dignity, integrity and honor. When the destruction comes, if our electors are not willing to hear God, it will impact all our lives and like those fleeing Aleppo, we might be next--fleeing one city after the other, but the real problem will be--where will we go?

Lord, speak to the hearts of those in position to make a decision that will impact all our lives either positively or negatively. Allow every elector in the Electoral College to see beyond the moment of their vote, so they will understand the importance of our having a future without chaos and more hatred and bigotry, marring the landscape for generations to come. Speak to the heart of every child You claim as Yours, creating in them a desire to please You and not men. I pray that every one of Your children will we willing to hear and act upon all You say so we can enjoy peace in the land--for all mankind. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

Being A Watchman!

If we have been called by God to promote the Gospel--our assignment is to be a watchman, warning the people of imminent danger when we see it headed our way. We have a job to do and it's time we get it done.
"Watchmen on the wall--sound the alarm for trouble is coming and I don't want the blood of others on my hands!"

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:5-8 NIV

I'm sounding the alarm! Blow The Trumpet in Zion--everyone! We have recently seen a dangerous display of one who speaks with a forked tongue. One minute in another country--across the border he plans to wall--a calm, almost boring presentation, but within the same day, a raucous, screaming screech--declaring the gloom and doom for the very people he had just said were such wonderful people.

There may be a mental deficit driving this dual personality or it may simply be--a politician who will say anything to any audience to win their vote. And if--the people who are listening are not careful, they will be caught up in the devastation bound to follow having  man in the White House who doesn't know east from west or north from south and has no specific plan for anything--other than to win by any means.

And that winning--includes having his campaign team provide him with the "appropriate responses for an interview' by a Black preacher on Saturday. They're consulting with Black Republicans so they can make sure they tell him the right thing to say. REALLY! What a joke and a travesty if people believe what they hear when the interview airs because his campaign team is "assisting with the editing." http://nyti.ms/2cutqWN

At any rate--I've sounded the alarm--what people do when they read this--is on them, not me.

Why Wisdom Calls From The Wall!

Out in the open wisdom calls aloud, she raises her voice in the public square; on top of the wall she cries out, at the city gate she makes her speech: “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings." Proverbs 1:20-23 NIV

When people do evil deeds--behind the scenes--and think they will never be discovered, their hidden agenda is exposed and known to all. But Wisdom calls aloud--openly for all to hear so there is no mistake about what she says and when wisdom is ignored, chaos and confusion usually abound.

The walled cities of old were built with space for those who were watching over the city to alert of any dangers to walk around the entire city--on top of the walls. The elevation of course was a means for sound to carry far and for the watchmen to see danger coming from a distance. This is one of the reasons why we are told about the watchman through Ezekiel--and God holding the watchman responsible for not alerting the people to danger when they saw danger coming. Basically the way it reads is this: If we are warned of danger and ignore the warning, then our calamity (bloodshed) is on our hands. If we are not warned of impending danger, then the calamity (bloodshed) is on the watchman's hands.

Have we been warned of calamity by those given watch over us who know The Word and see the impending danger? Are we heeding the warnings or are we ignoring them? Do we even know who the watchman is in our lives?

The watchmen--all who give warnings about impending dangers based upon The Word--are those who spread The Word and the warnings about living in opposition to The Word. Most people look to their pastors or church leaders to be their watchman, but unfortunately, too many church leaders are ignoring the danger and actually succumbing to popular opinion and political correctness--in lieu of obeying The Word. The calamity that falls upon all who listen to them will be on their hands.

But all is not lost! There are many watchmen--in cyberspace and other physical places who are not afraid to speak God's Truth and will warn and have warned of the dangers of succumbing to popular opinion and political correctness that does not align with God's Word. When people ignore those telling the truth, the calamity they are bound to experience is on them, not those who sounded the alarm.

And this is why wisdom speaks openly from the top of the wall--to be heard--not ignored, not ashamed of speaking truth--sounding the alarm when impending danger is sighted. But fools and mockers ignore wisdom in order to enjoy their folly and they are caught in their own snares, they call for help, but no help is near.

When we choose to ignore warnings of impending danger and do what we want to do instead of obeying God, He will not hear us--unless we repent of our wayward behavior. Wisdom is on the wall, speaking openly, not hiding like those who plan evil. Listen and obey!

What Is Holy Spirit Warning Us About Today?

And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. (Acts 20:22-24 NIV)

I must admit, composing a title for my commentary today was a bit of a challenge since a number of themes jumped out at me from these three verses. And before I finish, it's possible that Holy Spirit will have me touch on all I saw. I submit to His leading.

First of all, we see Paul acknowledging the forewarning of danger through Holy Spirit. In the days of the prophets (those messengers of God to whom God spoke directly before the arrival of Holy Spirit). They were also warned of impending danger and spoke to the people--some of whom heard and obeyed and others who did not. In fact, there were many who took upon themselves to be prophets and did as they were bidden to do by those in charge. These were the false prophets and unfortunately, we have many among us today--those who prophesy lies according to the dictates  of their flesh or the amount of money someone offers them.

But for those who are actually allowing Holy Spirit to lead and guide them in all things, Holy Spirit has been warning of impending dangers and once again--not many are listening and many more are choosing to ignore. When Holy Spirit spirit speaks, people should respect His voice more than E. F. Hutton and listen--closely and obey. He will never lead us astray, but there have been some who listened to E. F. Hutton and we hear from him, no more. I wonder why.

Then, we have those who claim that Holy Spirit speaks to them and we know by what they say and do, they lie. Holy Spirit will never speak on His own, but only those things given to Him and all that He says, will align with The Word. This doesn't mean that He'll speak to us in the King's English--that would be ludicrous unless we lived in England. No, Holy Spirit will speak to us in a language we understand and speak so that no confusion will exist. And though what He speaks may not be The Word--verbatim, the intent and principles will never change. Depending on where we are in our relationship with God, He may have to "paraphrase" The Word in order for us to understand it. In other words, He'll break it down to the lowest common denominator so we cannot say, we did not understand.

Considering the importance of Holy Spirit's role in the lives of Believers, I don't understand why there aren't more people saved and filled with His Spirit, living in right relationship with God. I can only surmise that the ridicule that accompanies anyone proclaiming God speaks to them, is justification for many to either ignore His warnings or they choose to keep silent. Neither is a good idea since we are all called to be "watchmen" and it is the responsibility of the watchmen to warn the people of impending danger. It is the responsibility of the people to act on the warning and when they don't, whatever happens is on them, not those who were courageous enough to warn.

Knowing what lay ahead of him, Paul chose to keep going--to keep testifying of God's grace--in order to fulfill the calling on his life. Do we have the same boldness to keep going--knowing that ridicule and persecution lie ahead of us? Knowing that not all will receive what we have to say? Knowing that every time we write a blog or respond to an article containing controversial content, we will be attacked by those influenced by the enemy? Knowing that the enemy seeks to engage us in meaningless conversation to keep us distracted from our mission? Are we bold enough to continue the race set before us and testify of God's goodness in spite of the naysayers and the doubters?

If our answer to any of the questions is "yes" then we have a testimony about how God changed us and put us back on the path He had established for us. Let's share the testimony with all who will hear and watch as we see The Word come alive for we are told, "we have overcome (the enemy's ploys to destroy us) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony."

Whatever our testimony is--the change from what we were doing in opposition to God's Word to living according to His Word--it is what people need to hear. We have the power within to know who needs our testimony in order for them to be overcomers and if we listen to Holy Spirit, He will indeed direct our footsteps, and govern our tongues so souls will come to Christ!

Never Silent!

"I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest," (Isaiah 62:6 NIV)

During those ancient years when a city was built with high walls surrounding it and a tower, watchmen were assigned to keep guard over the city and when they saw danger coming (an attack by the enemy), they were to warn the residents of the city so they would prepare for battle to defend it.
When they saw the enemy coming, they were to sound an alarm--usually a loud blast from a trumpet or other horn. This assignment was important since lives could be lost and entire cities captured.

Today, there are still watchmen assigned to sound the alarm when they see coming danger of an attack by the enemy. Since there are no more "cities with high walls" per se (but the walls of hearts), the alarm must be sounded through whatever venue is available in order to save lives and to keep people from being captured and held in bondage by the enemy. The problem is--not many are listening to the watchmen who have indeed sounded the alarm--warning people of the dangers of being captured by the enemy of man--Satan--and being held bondage to sin. We, who are watchmen, observing the times and aligning them with The Word, will not be held accountable for people not listening when we speak God's Truth. If they choose to ignore us, their blood will be on their hands.

"But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone's life, that person's life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood. When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved."(Ezekiel 33:6,8,9 NIV--Best understood if entire chapters are read)

This is "The Word of The Lord" and woe unto to us if we do not hear and obey!

So though there may be those who would prefer seeing a "feel-good, sugar-coated" message, I am appointed to warn and I will never stay silent about God says or how He wants us to live. I love encouraging people to seek Him, love Him, obey Him, and receive all the benefits He has for us, but when I see the destruction the enemy has planned, I must also warn people not to be deceived by those trying to changing the intent of God's Word. All Believers must study The Word for themselves and understand God's intent for inspiring men to write what He wanted us to know. There are many who are hearing God, and warning people about the impending dangers of being influenced by Satan. However, not many are heeding the warning because their flesh speaks louder.

Watchmen, Watchmen--Sound The Alarm and Let it be known--Danger approaches and lives will be lost--if the warning is not heeded--change is coming and no man will able to stem the tide of devastation we will experience, if we don't turn from our wicked ways and seek The Lord to forgive us and live as He desires!
