Demolition of American Democracy!

The definition of "democracy" is simple or at least the intent was simple--a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system (dictionary.com). 

Let me try to break this down--the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.  Supreme power means the people have the last say over what happens in our government. Of course, that ability has been hampered by the Russian attack on our electoral process with their propagation of false/misleading/disinformation to a very gullible, frustrated group of Americans. Their frustration led them to believe that a person with multiple bankruptcies and billions in outstanding debt was a good businessman. Actually, it was more about their hatred of a strong, intelligent woman that sent them over the edge and they gambled on the pathological liar who claimed he'd look after them. The only person he's looked after is the rich and corporations who want to pollute the earth in pursuit of greed by destroying the environment with fracking and decimating the wildlife and tourism. That's how he's looking after folks.

But I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. When a foreign entity attacks the electoral process in favor of the incompetent, easily manipulated pathological liar and the "freely elected" (Russian interference) person in the White House proves, he's going to do whatever Putin says, that's not a free election. We have discovered since the 2016 election that various means of voter suppression took place in the swing states, from broken machines to fraudulent voter purging. It would appear that in every state where the person in charge of the election board was a Republican--there was proof that the "free election" did not take place. If the people don't have Supreme power (unhindered by interference) there can be no government by the people for the people.

In fact, since we know Traitor Don's biggest fear is in having to admit his presidency is not legitimate, the reason the Republicans won't rein him in is because their election is also suspect--the reason we have a majority of Republicans in both houses of Congress is due to the Russian attack on our electoral system.

Now, we know from the "Helsinki Summit" (or rather the Hell sinking summit), that Putin admitted he wanted trump to win and that he deliberately influenced the election to get the result he wanted. But in another trumpian move--the White House has "erased" from the video of the press conference the comments Putin made. I'm guessing because he thinks we're all stupid and will forget what we heard. And to make sure there is NO transparency in the White House between trump and other foreign (dictators) leaders is because they decided not to provide the public or Congress with any read-outs of the phone calls. Does that sound like a person with nothing to hide? Of course! He has a great deal to hide and he's so foolish that he doesn't realize all of his moves to obfuscate the truth, just gives Mueller more ammunition to use against him.

This defies all logic and precedents set regarding not only the protection of the resident in the WH, but in offering transparency to the public that elected them.

And now, Traitor Don wants to turn over Americans to be interrogated by Vladmir Putin simply because they openly criticize him. That's the move of a dictator--once again. He has constantly called the media, "Fake News" because they tell the truth and just yesterday, he told the audience at a VFM convention, "don't believe what you see or read. It's not what's happening." In actuality, what we see and hear from media with integrity is exactly what's happening and some (rogues in the WH) have confirmed everything. The only media outlets not telling the truth are Fox News, Breitbart, Sinclair Broadcasting and other right-wing radio shows. We cannot overlook all the conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones and a crazy pastor, Rick Wiles who claims

Christian broadcaster and conspiracy theorist Rick Wiles is back with even more rightwing lunacy. This time, he’s claiming MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow, an out lesbian, will lead a coup against President Donald Trump.

Even worse, it’s in a few hours and we’re gonna have to throw together an outfit at the last minute. What’s black and goes with decapitation?
“America, you’ve been homosexualized. You’ve been Jewdy-ized. I’m just telling it how it is,” Wiles told viewers. “She was spewing out, last night, calls for revolution. She was telling the left, ‘Take a deep breath, we’re at the moment, it’s coming, we’re almost there, we’re going to remove him from the White House.’ We’re about 72 hours — possibly 72 hours — from a coup.
“Be prepared that you’re going to turn on the television and see helicopters hovering over the roof of the White House with men clad in black rappelling down ropes, entering into the White House. Be prepared for a shoot out in the White House as Secret Service agents shoot commandos coming in to arrest President Trump.”
But Wiles wasn’t finished with his hysterical anti-semitism and homophobia.
“That is how close we are to a revolution. Be prepared for a mob — a leftist mob — to tear down the gates, the fence at the White House and to go into the White House and to drag him out with his family and decapitate them on the lawn of the White House,” he said.

And of course, his gullible base believes every stupid thing the ignorant oafs say. Trying to talk to trump supporters just to get them to think for themselves is a total waste of time. They are not interested in facts or logic and only spew trump talking points like parrots.

George Orwell warned all of humanity in his book, "1984" what would happen when, "the party tells you not to believe what your eyes see or your ears hear." We have entered into a phase of authoritarianism and trump supporters don't seem to care. They evidently like the idea of a dictator ruling over them. Of course, he's already doing that since he's manipulating their ability to think and act.

But let's not forget one important salient fact. When trump side by side to a known adversary to America, he took the side of the adversary over American Intelligence Agencies. That is treason and until the complicit GOP Congress finds their balls or develops a spine (not sure which is harder for them to do), we're on a downward spiral in seeing the demolition of American democracy.

Now, for all of you who might disagree with me--go ahead. But look for the evidence yourself of what I'm saying. Innocent people don't try to hide what they do. Innocent people don't keep screaming about their innocence. Innocent people don't blame others for their shortcomings and incompetence. Innocent people don't try to impede an investigation against them. Only guilty people do all of this--because they have something to hide and don't want to be publicly exposed for all their wrongdoing and that includes--this illegitimate election.

Those who refuse to think for themselves and rise up against the tyranny that faces this country are complicit in the fall of our democracy. There's no need to complain--if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

By the way, nothing in this blog is new--I've said it all before and if you don't believe, check out some of my earlier blogs. This warning has been out there for a long time now. But all I got for my effort was admonitions from people trying to convince me I was wrong about trump. I've proven and time has proven, I was right. Trump is the biggest disaster to hit the American shores and he'll destroy everything America once stood for in his effort to be something he is not.

Deceived By The Enemy!

What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. Remember when trump claimed Hillary was "unfit" to have classified information and all the Republicans fell in line behind him? Nothing on her server has ever surfaced, but this morning, trump admits--he shared classified information with the Russians--his buddies and kept the US press out of the meeting.

Most of us have always known the Russians are not our friends--at least the leadership is not a friendly person and we know--he orders the execution of his opposition. The Russian people--may not be as brainwashed by false propaganda as Putin wants them to be. At any rate--we can say--the Russian leadership is an enemy no matter what disguise they attempt to use.

Personally, I don't believe they deceived trump--they manipulated him into doing their bidding in exchange for his 2016 election win--a win that is still under a cloud of legitimacy considering we all know--the Russians interfered with it.

The leak in the WH--is trump's best friend at this point.  Or at least I can say, they are ours. They should tell the press what's going on in the WH in total transparency so we know what we're up against, daily.

The Republicans who claim to be true Patriots and the moral majority--have proven they are the hidden enemy of The State--of America. They have hidden their bigotry and disguised their hatred for "all Americans who don't look like them, think like them or worship like them" by claiming something that just isn't true (God chose trump) in their support of the worst person in the world now sitting in the WH. They knew he wasn't fit to serve as president, but they promoted him anyway because of their personal agenda. They knew he wasn't competent and certainly not a Christian, but they promoted him anyway. They knew he was not a Patriot because he doesn't want to pay taxes that support our government, but they promoted him anyway.

Now--who is America's greatest threat? The enemy occupying the Oval Office is Public Enemy #1 with Pence, Ryan, and McConnell following right behind them. They all knew about the Russian hacking and are complicit in the cooperation to just "win." How do we know--by paying attention to what they're doing or not doing as Christians.  They support and condone a pathological liar who is a bigot and ignites the worst in those who hate people because of their differences. This is not Christ-like behavior; this is the enemy hidden under the umbrella of the Republican party deceiving the masses.

There are a number of people in America who would make a better president than the one we have; I am one of them! The proof will be in the pudding. Watch for it!

Truth--The Great Divide!

Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. Every day, brings new challenges, new insights, new bizarre behavior--all keeping many of us, just shaking our heads.

Whenever anyone in the Republican says foolish things--they confirm what I've already concluded--based on the things they say and do. If "truth" is desired in the situation, then no one should fear or rail against an investigation that should reveal truth. However, it would appear with statements made by Rand Paul and some others that, "Investigating your own party is a waste of time" (They spent millions investigating Hillary with one committee after the other--but she was a Democrat). What I glean from that statement is, "Even if we discover truth, we'll not reveal it because we'll all be exposed."

Now, some may argue the conclusions of my premise and that's their right to do so. But I have said from the beginning there was something fishy--rotten fishy--in the mix with the campaign run by the Republican party. But the smoke is clearing and soon, everyone will be able to see what I see.

It is now established by the intelligence community that members of the Trump campaign were communicating with Russian operatives--a year before the election. After the primaries (or even before), a deal was made with the devil and the Republicans. "Nominate me and I can guarantee a straight ticket win." Some didn't believe it, but eventually he was able to convince them as to how he could make such a statement. They knew--they all knew and that's why they don't want an investigation into the truth of the matter. For the truth--when known--will create a great divide--one greater that what we already see in this country.

Many who were duped into believing the great orange lie, or were just to angry so see clearly through red-hot emotions--voted for a manipulative, pathological liar whose only goal in running for president was to enrich himself. I'd be willing to bet--if truth is allowed to be exposed by the investigations--they'll he suddenly be struck with dementia and won't remember anything. I've watched him during a videotaped deposition to know how this is all going to play out. It will be just like his denying on Air Force One last week that he didn't know about Flynn lying to Pence. He lies with a straight face, cold heart, and no conscience.

At any rate, he's already decided to "campaign for 2020" this weekend for he needs constant affirmation or ego stroking to survive the day-to-day boredom of acting like a president when we all know--Bannon is actually the president and 45 is just doing what he's told to do (because he doesn't have the intellect to figure things out on his own).

And oh yeah! We finally figured out--(most of those watching unfolding events) that republicans are afraid to go against 45 because then he won't sign their asinine bills. The deal with the devil is exposing all the demons and truth will indeed cause that great divide--of loyalties when they scamper to try to save their own butts.

I wonder how those hypocritical pseudo-christians feel now--knowing they perpetuated the lie that God chose Trump to be president. Deluded people chose Trump and voted for him; that was not an act of God, but of manipulation and deception. Soon they will discover how lying on God has devastating consequences.

Deception and Corruption!

If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.  Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,  for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:3-10 NIV
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:8 NKJV

Deception is defined as the act of deceiving, fraud or artifice (trickery, guile)

Corruption is defined as being corrupt--moral perversion, depravity, corrupt and dishonest proceedings, and bribery.

Knowing that God sees and knows all things, just how long would a person who practices deception and corruption think their actions will remain hidden? For we know, Holy Spirit will reveal the hidden things--if we are willing to hear and see the truth of the matter. However, when people are blinded by misplaced loyalty, they often miss (evidence, proof) that is right in front of them because they choose not to believe what they hear and see. For if they dared to see and hear truth (through credible sources), they would have to admit being wrong about misplacing their loyalty in one who did not deserve it.

We have seen much deception revealed in the last few days by the person elected to govern this country. For most of us with eyes to see--this is not surprising--we have seen the deceptive practices exercised throughout the campaign. The distraction of calling Hillary Clinton crooked and a liar when it was actually him who is crooked and the liar. It would appear that the corruption began in June where bribes and promises were made to all who would assure his election. Throughout the campaign, he spouted his plans to deceive, but not many--people, were able to discern the meaning behind the words.

The rigged election that he was "supposedly afraid would be stolen" was his plan to rig and steal the election.

His boast at one of his rallies that, "perhaps the campaigning should stop and the election just be given to him" said volumes.

The constant repetition of lies and falsehoods that denigrated Hillary--with the most salacious tenets--promoted as "evidence" when there was none--with all the lies debunked through credible sources (House investigations, FBI investigation--all led by Republicans). Though the evidence presented proved no wrong-doing, people continued to believe the lies promoted by Fox News, Breitbart, Alex Jones, manipulated emails leaked by a vengeful man--Julian Assange, and deceived church leaders.

But it was a corrupt strategy designed to deceive the gullible (the same type of strategy used by all the madmen of the world to gain positions to rule as dictators) and it did--deceive the gullible. Those of us who see truth provided in the Spirit knew and understood what was happening, but try as we might--the enemy's tactics prevailed--for a season.

That season--of sowing corruption and deception is being exposed almost daily with his attempts to exaggerate his greatness in saving jobs with Carrier and in the alleged job creation from Masayoshi Son and the Softbank Group. The truth has already been revealed and the only thing he accomplished with Carrier was to give the company a $7 million tax break (at tax payer expense) and the jobs--most of them, are still headed for Mexico. The deal for through Softbank was already in the works before the election and had nothing to do with drumpf being president--as he alleged (outright lied).

The proof--as they say--is in the pudding. The final outcome of all the chaos and distraction and dishonesty and corruption will be revealed and those who looked to a man as their savior will be distraught as they come to grips with the fact that he never had their best interests at heart, but his own bank account. Time Magazine said it best--president of a divided nation--no unity or attempt to unify--will ever be accomplished with him as a leader of a "free nation."

Some may trust in chariots and horses--people and things--but my trust remains firmly rooted in The Lord and no matter what the corrupt and the deceivers do--He will keep us on the alert and ready to push back with truth as He reveals it to us.

Lord, thank You for Truth and the desire to promote it and not lies.

Self-Appointed Leaders!

Now Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith, put himself forward and said, “I will be king.” So he got chariots and horses ready, with fifty men to run ahead of him. (His father had never rebuked him by asking, “Why do you behave as you do?” He was also very handsome and was born next after Absalom.) Adonijah conferred with Joab son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest, and they gave him their support. Looking upon where we are today, I can hear the same question being asked of God by those who know Him and are in strong relationship with Him, "Is this Your doing God?" And while I cannot speak for anyone else, in my spirit I hear God's response, "No!"

But we have to understand what happens when people use all manner of deception and manipulation to accomplish what they want and the best way to understand how God is consistent in what He does is to look at what happened with Adonijah! And for that, we'd have to keep reading, but I'll sum it up. Adonijah died at the hands of King Solomon after making an insulting request--through Solomon's mother.

Instead of acting like a man, Adonijah acted like a child, making the request of Solomon's mother instead of going to Solomon directly. The request--give me the virgin that had been assigned to King David (his father)--covetousness and desire to make a mockery of David's last days by taking what was his.

Perhaps, the greatest lesson we can learn from the history recorded in the Old Testament is that when we rebel against God--thinking we know more than He does--in order to make our own name great--we are doomed to suffer the consequences.  God is not mocked. He sees all that is done by those who do not reverence Him, but make a mockery of all He has planned. In the end, we reap the consequences of our actions when we fail to heed the warnings.

The only great name anyone should reverence is Jesus and when we denounce Him and disavow all He is by our actions, we place ourselves in a position to be judged and all the world shall hear the noise when the end has come upon those who appoint themselves as leaders--and those who supported the nonsense.

Look at what some Americans have done--in the name of patriotism, but in actuality because of hatred and bigotry! Elected a president with no qualifications and certainly no approval from God. And then he mocks the entire democracy, by appointing the most despicable people in positions of authority and more who are even less qualified than he is to head vital departments of our nation. The noise in the streets--the cry of outrage for people know only disaster awaits. And the noise we hear and have heard is nothing to compared to the noise we will hear--from those who supported the unqualified person to lead to this nation.

Not my will, but Yours--to do as You direct in all things--to sound the alarm when You speak it to me and let others know--You are yet watching over all that occurs in the earth and You have the final Word.

How Easily Deceived Are We?

Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.Then the LORD’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you. Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth. POLITICS ALERT

If we spent more time delving into God's Word--from the beginning and throughout--not just reading familiar passages, we would begin to see and understand why it is important to have our hearts and mind receptive to Him.

When I read news articles and see what's presented in broadcast media--politicians and surrogates and some journalists--encouraging people to "bow down" to a man, my heart is disturbed. When I see how hypocritical those who claim to be Christians, browbeat others into believing their church leaders have a right to "tell them who to vote for" my heart is disturbed because I know--God is not in what they say.

What I've discovered--by reading publicized information--is that the devil's influence is evident in the arena of politics and no one--who has political ambition--is immune to succumbing to the dictates of the enemy.

When politicians and their followers and surrogates repeat lies which are easily dissected, it tells us what is in their hearts.

When those with political aspirations and ambitions for maintaining power and control over people demand the allegiance of others--in writing--this shows us how the devil works in their heart.
God expects our allegiance to be to Him--not a flag or a man or a woman. When we have embedded His Word in our hearts, repeated His Word--to ourselves, our children and those around us--then when we speak--everything we say should reflect our understanding of His Word.

Those who are repeating the lies--written in an obvious playbook since what is being said is scripted and repeated verbatim--either have not read or do not understand the vision given to John about who the lake of fire is reserved for and why.

I am so tired of the rhetoric employed by those pretending to be Christians that my prayer has become--"Come quickly, Lord!" When we misuse the positions in Christ we have to command allegiance from others, we are not representing Christ, but we are being used as a tool by the enemy. How do we know? Satan is the father of liars--and we see the lies displayed on a daily basis, yet there are some who keep perpetuating their promotion to follow their lead and lie, lie, lie, and lie some more. Those lies are not of God and anyone with a brain and a heart for God can see through the lies. As an ambassador for Jesus, I must represent who He is and call out the liars and warn them that nothing good shall ever come from misleading those who are either very gullible or weak or incapable of thinking for themselves.

When Omarosa told an interviewer, "People are going to bow down to President Trump; he's going to be the most powerful man in the universe," my heart cringed--not out of fear from anything she or Trump can say, but about those who believe what they say. First of all--no one bows to a president in the United States and America does not encompass the universe. But what she says is indicative of what they are selling to people--to trust a man more than God because they have made him--their god.

Is this not what Satan attempted to do with Jesus in the desert? "If you bow down and worship me--I'll give you control over the people." I'm reminded of the movie--Rosemary's Baby, when I see the comments of those who trust Trump. They have pledged their souls to the devil in order to achieve something that will not happen. They do not understand that they are hearing empty promises and they refuse to hear truth that is displayed on a daily basis--because they prefer the lies.

I'm praying for all to truly seek God--not man or woman--and then for all to hear and obey God--not man or woman.

No matter what happens--locally, nationally, or globally, we must keep our focus on doing what God has called us to do--promote His love and love others.

Let's face it--none of us has any control over anything that happens in our communities, our nation and certainly not in the world at-large. What we do have is an ability to seek God and His wisdom and the power to love others--continuing to always seek what is best for all.

However, what is best for all--according to The Word--will not be what everyone wants to see, especially the enemy. For what is best for him--is for all mankind to cease to exist. Therefore, he will always stir up confusion and strife among mere mortals because he loves to see us at odds with one another. The devil wants us to hate one another because God wants us to love one another. The devil wants people confused about their gender because God has a specific purpose in making men--men and women--women (male and female). God was not confused when He created the universe or mankind nor is He the author of confusion, but we know who is.

And this is why we (who have a relationship with God) must continually, without fail or getting weary of repeating the same message--God is love and we--as human beings--can only receive His best in our lives when we choose to do things His way.

If the only thing people care about is what pleases their flesh, then they have nothing coming from God for He has said in His Word that the flesh is enmity against the Spirit. In other words--what the Spirit desires for us is what God wants, but what the flesh craves is what the flesh craves and the satisfaction is temporary at best, while the benefits from allowing Holy Spirit to lead us are eternal.

Let me say it this way--giving into fleshly desires--leads to obesity, sickness and disease, sexual depravity, addictions of all kinds and crimes of all nature--theft, murder, extortion, and more. Allowing Holy Spirit to lead us--keeps us from all harm because He wants us to do all things--decently and in order. Holy Spirit will never steer us wrong or in doing wrong and when we get tired--weak from fighting against the demonic forces we face on a daily basis--He is right there--empowering us to keep going and we find we can accomplish more in His strength than in our own.

This then is what we must remind ourselves on a daily basis--God is not fooled by anything the devil influences anyone to do. He is not fooled by fake conciliatory pronouncements by foolish politicians; He is not fooled by the phony rhetoric designed to deceived others; He is not fooled by anything and the only thing the devil does is to make himself in those he has influenced. The devil is a master of deception, but those who know God can spot the deception because we know The Word.

Remember the enemy works to defeat all God loves and when we get tired--physically and spiritually--he's ready to pounce to convince us our efforts are in vain. Our efforts in promoting The Gospel of Jesus Christ are never in vain and when we feel we're getting weary, we need to be refreshed and restored, by constant re-visiting of The Word. We can do all things through Him who loves us and with Him, nothing is impossible! He will not withhold any good gift from those He loves and no weapon--not fear or tiredness or anything else--formed against us shall prosper. Nothing the enemy attempts to do to deter us will work. We have victory in Jesus!

Nothing Hidden From God!

"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." (Ecclesiates 12:1,14 NIV)
Closed doors, under the sheets, in the dark, disguised, cloaked, lies, manipulations, deceptions--nothing can keep anything hidden from God--it all comes to light, eventually.

When we do things we think no one knows about but us, we truly deceive ourselves. Those of us who know God, know He is all seeing, omnipresent, and omniscient. He sees all, He hears all, and knows all--and why not--He's God. For those who don't know Him, or at least won't acknowledge His existence--it doesn't matter--we'll all be judged by the same standards whether we Believe or not.

Think about these things! No child has ever done anything that God didn't know about and eventually parents discovered--even when the child thought no one would ever know. What one of the marvelous attributes about Holy Spirit is that He'll reveal truths to all who are willing to listen so that none of us are taken unaware of the things going on around us that we may not see.

Adulterers and fornicators who think no one knows what they're doing behind closed doors and under the sheets deceive themselves for when God allows them to be exposed, they have no defense. No hidden thing shall remain hidden--God will bring it all to light.

For the politicians who make shady deals with those who are seeking to control others and consumer goods--making sure the rich stay rich--God sees it and that, too will be judged according to God's standards. They have forgotten that God knows the heart and He knows when the poor and needy, and vulnerable are put at a disadvantage--to keep others rich.

For those who commit crimes--cloaking their faces with hoodies and masks--God knows who they are. They cannot hide from Him and eventually, because most criminals are stupid enough to brag about what they do, they'll be exposed and receive the appropriate consequence for their actions. Nothing is hidden with a piece of fabric or plastic from God.

For students who cheat on tests and think they've gotten away with something, God knows and every observant teacher or professor knows, too. I've always laughed to myself when I know people have cheated because they have the same answers--right or wrong--and it's always the students who never take notes or study who try to cheat on those who do. When i grade their papers, I always comment that they're better off using their on brains, in red ink beside the "zero" and then I let them see their paper, but I keep them for my records.

For those who engage in digital misbehavior, there is nothing hidden from God. Emails and text messages are retrieved and the misdeed exposed. Phone conversations are recorded, photos taken and publicly aired so all the world can see, what they thought was hidden. There is nothing hidden from God!

Even conversations held with some "in confidence" find their way to the surface of the subject of the conversation; especially in the heat of anger and frustration. Nothing hidden from God or others, even when we think it is.

Truth--as I stated yesterday--is very liberating. Unfortunately, many don't like hearing truth, when it means they need to reconsider how they do things. I'd rather be found in truth than in a lie so the truth will be exposed and I never have to fear a lie being exposed. There is nothing, absolutely nothing hidden from God!

Believers' Instructions for Daily Living (Part 4)

"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation" Then you will shine among them likes stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain." (Philippians 2:12-16 NIV)

Did you ever think about the phrase--"when the cat is away the mice will play" and what it means? In this analogy, the cat is the authority and the mice the subservient to the cat. So, while the cat is in their presence, they do what they must do--play hide and seek to keep from being destroyed. When the cat is away--the mice roam freely and are totally unconcerned about being caught.

Some people honor the authority in their lives only when the authority is present--right there--can't be missed. Employees will do their jobs while the boss is in their office, but if the boss is out of the office, many can hear a collective sigh of relief and most get lazy and lounge--doing absolutely nothing.

When teachers are out of their classrooms for a day or days--a substitute teacher can count on not getting anything done because the students have determined--the teacher isn't here and we don't have to do any work--even if work was left for them to do. I've heard all the stories--"the sub lost it; I didn't know we had to turn it in, the sub didn't give us any work, I took it home and forgot to bring it back." Students make up so many excuses for not doing work that they could have saved themselves some time by simply doing the work.

Paul understood that when he was around, the people honored his presence and he's commending them on doing so and encouraging them to keep on doing the right thing--whether he's there or not. And that is what all Believers should be doing, right now. Living like we know (because it's true) that God is present--in our midst at all times--and we should do the right thing at all times.

I know many won't understand this because they're thinking on a carnal level. "I can't be good all the time." Yes, we can. When we know God's Word and have a relationship with Him, we can be good all the time. The thing that keeps us from being good is our flesh--when we give in to temptation to fit in with others who don't know Him. I'm guilty--not intentionally, but guilty nonetheless.
Sometimes, my flesh overrides my spirit and I'm immediately impressed by Holy Spirit that I need to repent for the things I allow to escape through my lips. "Grieve not the Holy Spirit" I hear every time I mess up. The bottom line is--I'm more careful to not mess up, but when I do, He reminds me--He's right there and hears everything I say and sees everything I do.

The biggest problem for Believers is when they tend to act like God can't see or is deaf. He's always in the midst of everything we do and yes--He can see and hear it all. Now, we have a decision to make--to honor Him at all times, recognizing His presence or to act like He's only around in church on Sundays. It's our choice, and the world needs us to make it right now--for our time on this side of eternity is almost over and we have many souls to introduce to Jesus before He returns. 
Let's do all things as unto The Lord, desiring to please Him only!

Follow Godly Wisdom, Not Human Folly and Foolishness!

"Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age,you should become "fools" so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness," and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile. So then, no more boasting about human leaders!" All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future--all are yours, and you are of Christ and Christ is of God." (1 Corinthians 3: 18-23 NIV)

One of the most devastating things that could ever happen to people is to give leaders so much credit for being more than they are that they foolishly follow their example, rather than God's.

Nowhere in history do find a mere human being so incapable of erring that we can look at them and say, "That's a person worth following," and be telling the truth.

No, the only person worth following is Jesus Christ--the Son of God--who has the wisdom of God and leads us to the Father when we follow Him.

If we lack true wisdom--about anything--family, current events, sin, education, political agendas--anything--it is all found in His Word and in our hearts when we seek God for His wisdom.

We don't have to guess or speculate about anything--we simply ask and He provides us with direction and instruction.

When we think we are wiser than God, we fall and some never rise again. We have entire civilizations that used to be and are no longer because they failed to understand, their wisdom was not comparable to God's wisdom.

We are in a day and time in which we need the Wisdom of God more than ever. We see on a daily basis that many in leadership positions or positions of authority are acting upon their own wisdom which is foolishness and if we obey man over God, we can only get the appropriate consequence--failure.

This is not to say that I am wiser than anyone else, but I know when I need answers, who to seek. Even when I don't hear Him clearly, He knows how to get my attention so I can correct any wrongs and keep moving forward with Him as my guide. I am wise enough to know--without Him--I have no wisdom, but I'd rather be thought a fool--following Him, than to be known as the foolish--following man.

Not everyone will be able to understand the underlying message of The Word and that is as God intended. His Word, inspired by Him and written by those who had a heart to Him, is intended for those who have a heart to obey Him. No mystery to the method, just heart--to hear and obey--and then reap the benefits of obedience, rather than the penalties for disobedience.

We have a choice to make and we must make it soon if we are ever to see America rise upon the fray of common arrogance and political correctness when it comes to making decisions and laws regarding all the people. If we love God and love one another, we will not fall into the pit--straying from God's path--by following the foolishness of human folly.

The First Step to Forgiveness--Acknowledgment or Confession!

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:8-10 NIV)

Truth and deception are in opposition with one another. If we know truth, we have no need to deceive others or ourselves. The biggest issue with some people in acknowledging truth is their limited perception of what truth is. People who have not had opportunity to experience much of life are limited by their experience to understand greater truths experienced by people who have had opportunity to broader ranges of experiences.

Truth about differences is cultural knowledge is limited to one's experience with different cultures.

Truth about religious observations is limited to one's experience with various groups of people and how they worship God.

Truth about sin is limited to one's experience and knowledge of what God says is sin. If a person has no knowledge of what God says is sin, they can deceive themselves into believing they have never sinned and since they have never sinned (in their minds), they do not confess it or admit and therefore cannot never be forgiven--by God.

I have often readily discussed my "BC" time (before knowledge of Christ) and the fact that I lived in ignorance as to how God wanted me to live. Once I learned--by reading the Bible and seeking God's wisdom to understand what I read, I had to own up to all the stuff I had done, out of ignorance--and seek His forgiveness. Now, that I know, I'm still not perfect, but I recognize my shortcomings and flaws and allow His correction to guide my tongue and my actions. This is the place where God wants all of His children to be--receptive to correction when we admit we are wrong. But if we never acknowledge being wrong, we close the door to correction and cannot receive the benefit of His love--through forgiveness.

Someone recently told me they did not have a "BC" time, but they have always followed God. There were a number of questions that rose in my mind with that statement. Did they truly know God? Did they understand salvation and repentance? Did they understand the purpose of the work on the cross? And of course, I thought, "So, you've been perfect all your life!" Of course that thought was sarcasm since I know there are no perfect people walking the earth. But if they think they have no "Before Christ" time, they have deluded themselves into thinking they are perfect.

Here's the thing for me. We are not born "saved" and until we recognize our sinful state and repent, we cannot be saved. Neither are we born "a denomination," but rather born into families who observe specific religious practices. We are not born, Baptist  or Catholic, or Lutheran or Pentecostal, or any other religion. We are born into families who expose us to the tenets of specific practices and we choose (at some point in time) to either join those practices or reject them.

Then there are some families who have never acknowledged the need to involve themselves in any religious practice and so people are born into families who have no exposure and sometimes see no need for such exposure. Never having the opportunity to understand God's Truth is no excuse for living outside of His Will; especially when His Truth is being promoted by every true Believer using every venue they have available to them.

When people claim to not believe God, it is not because they have not been exposed to His Truth, but because they have chosen to reject His Truth and that is usually because of negative experiences with people who were not living God's Truth.

Now, through this venue and many others like it--we all have access to Truth as God determines Truth. Having a relationship with God means we understand His Truth is truth and we have all sinned and need to confess it in order to be forgiven. If we say we have not sinned, we lie and make God's Word of no effect and make the work on the Cross, pointless. God is not a man that He should lie and we are not so perfect that we have not sinned. If we think we have not sinned, we are only fooling ourselves because God sees and knows all we have ever done.

Therefore, we must acknowledge the sin, confess it to God, repent and be forgiven by God. We do not have to tell our business to other people, but we must acknowledge our shortcomings and flaws and know God's love is enough to keep us from falling into the abyss when we confess our sins to Him.

True Witnesses Have Relationship With God!

“You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me." (Isaiah 43:10 NIV)

There is no one group--who have professed to be the only witnesses--whom God loves more than any other who believe Him because of those things that others have revealed through His Word and His love. When God spoke through the prophets in "that day" they knew exactly what He meant. God showed up and showed out--confusing every group of people who worshipped gods they made with their own hands. What He wanted them to understand is that He, the God of creation, was before any of the gods people erected from the materials that God created.

I've addressed this before, but I fail to understand how anyone could give "power" to inanimate objects created by hands of men and think that object is more powerful than the One who created the materials by which it was created.

Our God--in all of His awesomeness-has no beginning or end. Before time was--He was and after time ends, He will be and for now--He isl Unfortunately for some--they have not figured it out yet.
There are those who think that mere men--who have changed the intent of God's Word to suit their own beliefs--have the only connection with God. This is why when they observe Communion (a sacrament observed by many churches), they only serve the elders with others looking on them. How ridiculous is that? Did they not read and understand that Communion is an event in which all partake? And with all of the flawed logic and theology presented by them which constantly changes, they proclaim they are His true witnesses.

So, who is a true witness? Anyone who in relationship with God, understanding the intent of His Word and does not attempt to use The Word to manipulate people, is a true witness of God. We who know and understand that God is not a respecter of people--we are all the same--we know how He does things and we also know and understand His thoughts are far above our thoughts. We understood the need for Him to come down to earth in the likeness of flesh to reconcile mankind back to Himself and was called Jesus, who upon returning to Heaven, provided us with power through His Spirit--Holy Spirit who dwells upon the inside of all true Believers and Witnesses of the One True God.

If Holy Spirit does not dwell within, how can one say they are "true witnesses" of the Living God who will not tolerate any mocking Him by manipulating others. This particular group states (I say this from personal experience from conversations with their "elders") that their corporate group in New York is led by Holy Spirit, but Holy Spirit is not available to anyone else so they must do what they are mandated to do within their publications.

The devil is a liar! Holy Spirit is available to all who desire Him in their lives and does not discriminate, nor encourage alienation of family members or any other who choose not to believe their foolishness. And now they promote themselves as believers of Jesus when not too long ago, they denied He was the Son of God.

Know God for yourself--Know God's Word for yourself--and know when the devil rises us to deceive and manipulate those who are gullible enough to promote false doctrine. If you know Him because of relationship with Him, you are a true witness of He who created all things and without Him--nothing was created.

The Promise of Authority!

"To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give authority over all the nations." (Revelation 2:26 NLT)

While in the spirit, John received the messages from Jesus to share with the churches--specifically named then--but to include all that exist, now!

With this particular segment, many have erroneously concluded and proclaimed that "Jezebel was a harlot" and in doing so, made every female who wore make-up or attempted to "look better" feel inferior when attending church. What must be understood is that "Jezebel" is a spirit of manipulation and deception. This spirit then can and does inhabit both male and female and it has nothing to do with what person does to "look better" but everything to do with their seductive, manipulative  attitudes.

Why then does Jesus call this spirit--she? This is a reminder of who she was and what she did as recorded in the Old Testament. She manipulated her husband, sought to kill Elijah (I Kings) who killed the false prophets that she had established to deceive the people and was later killed because she would not repent, and scorned God. The dogs licked her blood against the wall in Jezreel.

Are there not still false prophets--people who are intentionally deceiving the nations and manipulating God's Truth, encouraging others to live in opposition to God's Word? Yes, there are and God's response is that He will cut them off so that not one--not even the descendants of such behavior--shall live.

All who have an ear to hear what the Spirit of The Lord says, hear and obey! Repent and turn from wickedness!

But for those who remain faithful to God, victorious in obedience, to them will He give authority over nations! Hallelujah! This is the promise of authority that we can look forward to receiving when we "stay in The Word" and faithful in our obedience to Him, not man! What a mighty God we serve!

Dancing With The Devil!

Surprised are you? About the title I mean. We’ve all been caught up with dance crazes from long ago and many people frowned upon the types of dances from back then the same way we do now. However much I love dancing, this is really not about a new dance craze; it’s about the dance craze that most people do until they come to the realization that this dance—is one we should all sit out—becoming a wall-flower in the dance-hall of life.

James tells us to, “Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us,” (4:7). So, if that’s true, why do so many people think that they can entertain the devil and escape the consequences that are bound to result from being around him?

Perhaps, I’m being too subtle. We engage in a dance with the devil when—we think we can “try” drugs and escape addiction. We think we can be “sexually promiscuous” and escape the consequences of our actions—unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, damaged self-esteem, and negative labelling by others. We think we can “listen to peers” especially children and disrespect parents and other adults without dealing with the consequences that could end up in locked out of a home and locked into a system that does nothing to promote well-being. We think we can “hang out” with the dope dealers and not get burned when they do. We think we can “steal our way” out of poverty only to discover that theft is not the way when we get caught and go to jail. We think we can “outsmart” parents and the law until we see our faces plastered on social networks or the news—on the most wanted criminal postings.

Anytime, we think we can do wrong and get away it—we’re dancing with the devil leading us into darkness and possible death. We must remember that the devil—that master of deception and father of liars—gets his kicks from seeing us getting into hot water with no way out of it. He laughs at the follies of his followers, cheering them on from the sidelines—showing them how to get swallowed up into the pit in which they have fallen.

Think about the people who believe that gambling is a way out of debt. The devil is leading this dance all the way to the poor house or suicide. He encourages the loser to try, “just more time” and then sits giggling hysterically when they lose even more. He loves to watch how they scramble trying to manipulate others into letting them have more money to lose and some resort to stealing because they believe—they need just more try.

Think about the people who live in abusive situations in which the devil manipulates the abuser and the abused. He convinces the abuser to keep abusing in order to control others, but then he also convinces the abused to believe the abuser when they apologize, beg for forgiveness and then they stay—for more abuse. 

Think about those people—specifically parents—who allow others to babysit for them and they abuse their children. Without a certain knowledge of those who have been trusted, we open the door for the dance and then when he leads, we get frustrated and angry. When we should have been looking into the backgrounds of those we choose to trust, we don’t. When we should trust our children to tell us the truth we don’t and allow the abuse to continue when we keep getting the same people to babysit.
