How We Avoid Hate!

To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. All a person's ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Proverbs 16:1,2
When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone's way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. Better a little with righteousness than much with injustice.  7,8
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. The wise are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction. 18-21
A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends. A violent person entices their neighbor and leads them down a path that is not good. 28, 29
Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. 32
One of the most significant ways we can avoid situations that lead to hate is to understand how hate manifests itself. Hate doesn't just show up out of the blue--it is planted, fertilized and nurtured to fruition by those who are insecure, fearful, and resentful (and incapable of rational thought).

People who have severe doubts about their own ability to accomplish things resent those who are confident and their lives demonstrate their confidence. Generally speaking, they will fertilize their insecurities by blaming others for what they have not achieved, and the more they blame others, the more they nurture their hatred. They teach their children to hate others because of fear--not knowledge--and those fears for the most part are baseless because insecure people--don't venture far from their base of comfort. In other words, they have not lived a full life--one in which they ventured far from home and experienced life outside their parameters of their comfort zone.

The same people are incapable of understanding that we can be passionate in our disagreement with others, but we don't have to allow the disagreement to lead to hate. We must understand that it is our right to disagree, but we can disagree, agreeably which won't lead to wars or rumors of wars or bullying rhetoric. Hate spreads when people who are incapable of rational thought never realize that they are not always right and that others don't have to agree with them. They have yet to understand what "individuality" means.

If God had wanted clones--He could have created them. We would all look alike, think alike and never have any need to use our brains or vocal cords.

What we must do to avoid the proliferation of hatred, bigotry, and senseless fear is to realize we all have something to contribute to society in productive, constructive ways and none should be ignored or disregarded simply because of race, ethnicity, religion, gender or any other factor. We must realize that God created one race of people--the human race with one blood surging through all--it's red--no matter the color of skin is.

With insecurities--comes the tendency to think a person or a group of people is superior to another. In order to perpetuate the lies--they create all sorts of false data, write books with suspicious documentation to prove they are superior to others. We see this in the beliefs of all the "white nationalists" or other hate groups who actually believe they are superior to every other group of people. They do not know or understand that the cradle of civilization began on the continent of Africa and that skin tones changed as man migrated to cooler climates. Education would be extremely beneficial to debunk all these myths, but for those who hate--irrationally--they tend to think that having an education is synonymous with being elitist. Therefore, they revel in their ignorance and nurture their hate.

There's an adage that says, "ignorance is bliss" and we can see that being true for those who choose to blame others for their shortcomings and positions in life. They're happy with their ignorance and would rather hate than learn to live peaceably in society.

We know that when we disagree (especially in households), we should never allow the sun to go down and we're still angry. Be passionate in disagreement, but ready to concede the possibility of being wrong and be willing to do the research to make a verifiable point and not just rely upon "an opinion" with no legs.

We can avoid planting the seeds of hatred and bigotry by recognizing that we are part of a greater world and we don't have a right to expect others to live  by what we think or believe. We can educate ourselves (with all of the accessible technology) and not hold others accountable for what we don't accomplish. We can learn to love--unconditionally--just as God loves us and with that love--there's no room for hate. We can stop fertilizing and nurturing hatred by accepting responsibility for what we do and say or for what we don't do. We are responsible for everything we say--good or bad--and everything we do--good or bad and we cannot blame others for our actions or inactions.

When we learn to critically analyze why we think what we think, believe what we believe, or do what we do--we'll discover there is more to life and living than what we think we know.

Be Still and Know!

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;  he burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46 NIV
I know there are many people out there right now who disdain the use of “God” or “Jesus” and they feel justified in doing so, but I’m reminding those who believe in His plan for their lives to remember His promises and be still and know, He has not forgotten you.

In the midst of crisis, it’s difficult for any of us to stay focused on God’s promises when we feel our lives are at risk. Believing God does not mean we do stupid things or act unwisely in the midst of a crisis, but we seek His wisdom and hold fast to our faith that He will make a way.

Hurricanes are an act of nature and God saves in the midst of hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and all manner of situations in which we have no control. But if we act wisely, trusting our dependence on Him, He will see us through what nature tends to throw our way.

Yes, bad things happen to good people and only God knows why He allows certain things to happen to some people and not others. I’m not God, so I’m not going to pretend I have all the answers, but I trust Him. “In all our getting, get wisdom.” “Wisdom is the principal thing.” Solomon repeatedly refers to the wisdom being the utmost importance. When we things through and act wisely, we could avoid certain devastations. And though we get upset over the loss of things, we must remember things can be replaced–lives won’t be. So the wisdom we must exercise is about saving lives, not things.

Even though Harvey was predicted in enough time for people to make provisions to move out of the way of danger, most people could not have imagined the rain that would proceed in the aftermath.
This is not an act of God–it is an act of nature and if anyone wants to attribute the storm to being an act of God, and attempt to claim it is retribution for the people who live there–they make a mockery of who God is.

For the religious-right who have said John McCain’s cancer is God’s retribution because of a vote–shame on them. They obviously have no knowledge of God and how He functions in the earth. But the rub here is–some of those same folks would “never” say the storm is retribution for the wrongs they have done against the poor and the needy. God doesn’t get into our politics because what we do–who we vote for and put into positions of authority are on us–and when we don’t act wisely, we don’t get wise leadership in those positions of authority.

In the coming days, it will be extremely difficult for some to hold onto their faith and know that in the end, everything will be all right. I’m confident that acting wisely, seeing to the needs of others and taking care of self will result in lives being saved. I encourage everyone who can to make donations to American Red Cross so they will have adequate resources to meet the needs of the people. Donations can be made online (with a minimum of $10). I made my contribution and would love to see as many people as possible do the same–especially those who recently won lotteries. Now is a good time to help others in need.

My heart and thoughts are embedded in the crisis in Texas and I will continue praying for their safety and for the rains to abate. God knows what it is He wants to accomplish in the hearts of men and women everywhere and I’m sure it will be as He has determined.  Stay safe!

Show Us "The Good" in the GOP!

Boasting About Tomorrow
As it is you boast in your in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.” James 4: 16,17 NIV
Warning to Rich Oppressors
Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you. James 5:1-6 NIV
I keep hearing about how “good” people are who have failed to uphold their oaths of office in Congress and in White House.

If these are so good, show us the good they have done that benefits all people:
Jeff Sessions
Steven King
Bob Corker
Orrin Hatch
Paul Ryan
Mitch Connell
Tom Cotton
Darrell Issa

Any of the Republicans who claim to be Christians who have promoted bigotry and divisiveness during the years President Obama was in office and yet now, they want everyone to lick trump’s boots–show us the good they have done.

Most–if not all–are complicit in the Russian meddling with the 2016 Election and all will be exposed soon. Their hands are dirty with money laundering and promising favors and playing footsy with Putin. These so-called upright Christians who do more to harm the poor and the needy than they do to fend the rights of the poor and the needy.

Most–if not all–are only in politics for what they get out of it–access to world leaders and big business so they can make money by caving to lobbyists. And when they make money, they forget how to keep their oaths.

Most–if not all–have failed the United States miserably when they allowed trump to be their nominee. They knew he’d never “pivot” because he has no desire to pivot. Any time a person thinks they are better and far more superior to others–they see no need to change and they don’t. He showed us the first time around that he was a misogynist, bigot, and racist. He showed us he didn’t care about poor folks or black folks or any people of color by how he treated them.

Remember him having the homeless veteran arrested because having him on the corner brought down the value of his “tower?”

Remember how he chose to keep black people from renting any of his apartments?

Remember all the hateful things he said about Mexicans and Muslims?

Remember all the hateful lies he promoted about Hillary Clinton?

Remember how he used his foundation as a personal ATM for purchasing paintings, sculptures, and other paraphernalia that had nothing to do with the purpose of his foundation?

Remember him saying that he’s rich because he never uses his own money to do things?

Remember how he bragged at one point in his life about his only war was about fighting STDs?

Remember his hateful remarks to a war hero, after he obtained deferments for questionable reasons?

Remember how he is the only person who has proclaimed his wealth and fame?

Remember all those things he did during the campaign and now after being installed in the WH (the dump he said)?

If he is such a good person and those who keep making excuses for him are such good people, why is there such turmoil in the land? Why are hate groups thanking him for not calling them out? Why is Russia probe so unnerving to him?

If he is such a gifted communicator–why is that every time he speaks–everyone has to rush to explain what he “meant” because he didn’t say what he meant.

Why is it that after being in office for eight months, he is still only talking to his base which includes the hate groups and ignores the rest of America?

Why is he more concerned with spending money on an investigation that has proven no guilt on the part of Hillary about her emails?

Why is he attempting to help defraud every state’s voting practices with his “Voter Fraud Commission” that is more about suppressing votes that discovering any election fraud?

Why is it that he’s campaigning for 2020 and using the donated funds to pay for his son’s attorney?

Why is it that he thinks we are all stupid and he’s the only intelligent being on the planet?

Why is it that every surrogate who speaks on his behalf lies and lies knowingly, and yet they claim to be Christians? Is it that they have not read with understanding the Bible?

Why is it that he wants to cut funding for services for the poor and yet taxpayers are covering the costs of his children’s security, his, and all of his trips which are bringing in the bucks for his businesses?

Why is that the same lawmakers who claim to be “conservative” won’t challenge trump’s trips and not pay for them or for his children’s business trips?

Why? Why? Why? The more I write, the more questions surface and I know I’ll never get the truth out of the “good people” in Congress or the WH for truth is not known to them. Ask Kellyanne Conway who invented alternative facts for this administration’s alternative universe and wants reporters to be “forced to say something favorable” about trump. Really? When there is very little if anything favorable to say about him, why would she want reporters to lie? Oh–she wants them to be like her.

So, if there’s “any good” in any of the aforementioned and some not named specifically, but are GOP–let all of us know about the good they do because we certainly don’t see it manifest itself in their legislating laws.

They have allowed their greed and need for power and status to overrule common dignity and love for all and until they recognize it, confess and repent of it, we shall remain the laughingstock of the world and no one will consider us a leader of anything but foolishness.

With the next election, we can change that–and make sure that honor and integrity once again dwell in the White House and wisdom reigns for the benefit of all Everyday Americans. I won’t need anyone spinning lies for me because Truth and I have a pretty good relationship and as a clear communicator–I know how to say what I mean and mean what I say–without additional explanation from others.

We Must Continue The Fight!

Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.” Joshua 10:25 NIV
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12 NIV
In the bible there are records of many battles, most of which are led by men, but some only by direction of a woman, Deborah. For those who are foolish enough to believe that a woman shouldn't be in the White House as president--they might want to revisit the bible they claim they believe as it pertains to their faith in God. God will use whoever is willing to be used.  With that framework in mind--willing to be used--we know God did not choose trump since he is neither willing to be used by God, nor interested in being president for all Americans.

But we cannot afford to stop fighting for justice for all--now is the time to gear up and prepare for the long haul. Hatred and no one who promotes hatred--regardless of the "words" they say, will not reign in America as long as Americans refuse to allow it reign.

This country--(reminder) was inhabited by the Natives when the first settlers arrived. The Natives helped them to survive their first winter and what did the settlers do to show their appreciation? They fought against them, killed them and took their land. That's how they showed their appreciation.

Then the settlers (from Europe) imported slaves because of their greed and they were too lazy to do the work themselves and too stingy to pay others to do it. So, they paid for slaves and forced them to work, treating them worst than some of their animals and when Lincoln finally acknowledged they were just as human as their white counterparts and declared so--legally--the haters--the white haters still found every justification to rape, lynch, burn the people and cheat them out of land.

We know that hatred abounded then and now with the Jim Crow laws that kept Black people segregated and limited their use of bathrooms, water fountains and hotels and restaurants. White people lied about Black people and justice was a joke since a jury--if used--was all white and usually, the white people just decided to lynch a person "accused of doing wrong" whether evidence proved it or not.

And now we're dealing with the haters still--those white people who claim they're afraid their race will be diminished by people of color. So to make sure their race "remains pure" they're plotting to kill every person of color in America because they think--people of color have somehow kept them from--jobs, happiness, whatever--I don't know how they justify their false premises--since they have always had opportunities to do things denied people of color.

Hatred is ugly and despicable. It's roots are found in a person's insecurities and in those who know how to manipulate others into believing a lie. The leaders of hatred and bigotry really hate themselves and because they feel impotent, they plant and nurture seeds of hatred until people begin believing that everything they don't have is the fault of a person of color.

There is only one planet that we know of so far that is habitable for human beings--earth. We're all here--one race--the human race--bleeding the same color. Though there are those who will continue to hate no matter what because it's easier for them to do so, I will continue to love because it's easier for me to do so. I hope others will continue the fight against hatred and bigotry everywhere they go.  We know The Word tells us that whatever is in our hearts is what will rise to the surface and overflow from us. Love makes more sense and so much easier to do than hate. We must continue the fight against hate.

My fight to eradicate hate will continue all the way to the White House as I encourage people daily to look within and recognize truth, not enabling lies nor allowing anyone else to pacify or enable false premises. We must be willing to accept truth about ourselves before we can speak truth to others. I am willing to be used by God and willing to serve all Everyday Americans and I will continue to seek support for my run to the White House.

Thank you for considering all that I've said over the years and for your willingness to support a True Believer and a True Patriot who wants what's best for all Americans and one who promote peace and harmony for all other countries as well.

What We Need Is Love!

It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. An now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work. 2 John 4-11 NIV
John's letter is just as clear today as I'm sure it was to the church when he wrote it. If we claim to know God the Father and Jesus the Son, we must walk in love. For Jesus said, "Love the Lord thy God with all your heart soul and mind and love your neighbor as yourself." These are His commandments. If we have not love, we are not walking in love and cannot love others.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, over and over until we get it or my fingers stop working or my lips are sealed in death. IF WE DO NOT LOVE OURSELVES, WE CANNOT LOVE OTHERS!

If we do not recognize that hate is taught--planted in the hearts of people from an early age as demonstrated by those around them who say hateful and bigoted things about other people simply because they do not look like them, act like them, or worship like them. Here's my question for all who think they have a "moral right" to tell other people anything: Who did you die for that we might have access to the kingdom of heaven?

I'm not saying we shouldn't teach God's Word--accurately and coherently--I'm saying none of us--imperfect beings that we are--can take a moral high ground if we don't know love. There have been times in my life when I allowed my "emotions" to overrule logic and it brought disastrous results. We cannot allow our fickle-ever-changing emotions to dictate our lives and expect peace and harmony. It won't work.

What will work--for every human being on the planet--is for us to take the time to seriously do some introspection into what makes us who we are. Are we so bound to tradition and feelings that we cannot accept truth about ourselves and no matter how many times we are proven wrong, we continue in the same path? We have to be honest with a critical assessment of our ability to love self--accept our shortcomings without blaming others for what we don't have or can't do. We have to acknowledge that our lives are the end result of what we have put into them. If we put nothing into a bank account, we cannot withdraw from it (legally). The same is true of our lives--whatever we want out of it--must align with what we're willing to put into it. If we all we do is nurture hate--that seed that was planted before we were able to recognize it--then all we'll get out of life is refutation and rejection.

Most people who honestly care about where they are in life have sat down and realistically assessed their lives and how they got there. I've heard of so many people who were taught to hate, come to a place in their lives where they realize hate never solves any problems and they changed. They began to love themselves, seeing themselves in another light--a beacon that could pave the way of success for others.

What we need--more than anything else in this world right now--is to learn to love self so we can love others. For when we love others, we only want the best for them and we work together to accomplish that end. Knowing that love trumps hate is not just a slogan or buzz words. Love truly conquers hate in every imaginable way. It may not happen over night, or in a month in the next two years, but we have to start somewhere. And now is the time.

Let's work on promoting love, eradicating the hate that resides in the hearts of so many. If hate can be learned, then so can love and love is far more pleasant experience. When we see hate being promoted--we must stand firm and call it what it is--no using any euphemisms to disguise it--just call it what it is: hate, racism, bigotry, misogyny, xenophobia and whatever else destructive attitudes and actions can be called--CALL IT OUT AND THOSE WHO PERPETUATE IT!

Since we only have this one planet that is considered fit for human habitation, we might as well learn to live together in harmony before we decimate the human race because of hate. Love is the answer and it has been from the beginning and forever will be.

I'm Mary M. Hall-Rayford and I approve this message and will be moving forward in my bid for president in 2020. I hope you join me in promoting love and not hate. www.facebook.com/YesIAm2020 browse and like my page.

The Turn Around!

Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy. When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth. By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down. Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet. Evildoers are snared by their own sin, but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.  The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern. Mockers stir up a city, but the wise turn away anger. If a wise person goes to court with a fool, the fool rages and scoffs and there is no peace. The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity and seek to kill the upright. Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end. If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked. Proverbs 29:1-12 NIV
It is time for us to turn our situation around in America. No one should have to lose their life because of hatred, but we know--historically--that if we continue to ignore the obvious, more lives will be lost. We cannot hope to achieve any greatness by hating or promoting hatred. The bigotry that exists in the hearts of those who claim to know God, must be extinguished and never allowed to re-ignite flames of hatred.

For some--turning from their hatred--the seed that has been planted and nourished by ignorance and lies and sprouting and spreading through their lips--the journey to a pathway of seeing truth and admitting wrong will be a long one, but not an impossible. one. In order for a person to receive truth, they must desire truth and remove all the lies so truth will grow. I'm reminded of tending a garden. As long as the weeds are left alone, nothing of any substance will have room to grow. Lies are the weeds in our lives that must be uprooted so there will be room for truth to grow and change minds and hearts.

If anyone claims no knowledge of what hate can do in a nation, they haven't been paying attention. Bigotry and hatred have existed in this country for centuries and it would appear that since it has not been totally eradicated, we will have to deal with it until it is. Right now, starting with every individual--there must be a concerted effort to eradicate hate and plant seeds of love to turn this situation around!

Bigotry and hatred (and greed) were the impetus for slavery in this country.

Bigotry and hatred were the seeds planted that rose up against efforts for equality between the races and genders in this country.

Bigotry and hatred are bred in the soil of ignorance and insecurity and fear in this country and fertilized by unwillingness to accept truth.

Bigotry and hatred continue to exist when people are close-minded and unwilling to consider they are not always right about anything.

As long as we are resistant to communicating effectively with others, willing to sit down and listen to views that are not like our own and recognize we have a right to disagree, but we should learn to do so, agreeably.

We all have choices to make--right now, in the coming days, and for the rest of our lives. We can choose to live in peace and harmony by loving one another or we can choose to live in chaos and strife, allowing hatred and bigotry to reign and destroy.

I don't know about you, but I choose to love and I have repeatedly stated that we can accomplish all things with love in our hearts, but the only end result of hatred and bigotry is destruction. I will not play a part in the destruction of a nation, but I will do all I can to build and stabilize the nation with love.

Knowing how to love and loving does not mean I have to agree with things that are not right and I won't. Loving means telling people the truth whether they want to hear it or not, and whether they receive it or not. I will not stop speaking truth to power or promoting truth to all who are in my social media communities and everywhere I go. No one has to agree with me; I accept that--but as God reveals clarity of His Word to me--I will promote it, no matter what happens. And our current political climate is weighed down with such hatred and bigotry by those who think they are superior to others that we need to learn how to turn this around. I'm willing and I hope others are, too.

We don't have to wait to 2020 to see a turn around in our nation, we can start now and strengthen our resolve to live in peace and love and in 2020 by choosing to elect a person who is willing to serve for the benefit of all Everyday Americans.

Calling Things What They Are!

There is so much going on in the world, that I don't always have time to write out what I want to say, but hopefully, this 2 minute video will say enough to convince all, we must not be complacent when it comes to hate!

We can't let the haters win. Call them out!

Can We Bury Hate?

There are those who hate the one who upholds justice in court and detest the one who tells the truth. You levy a straw tax on their grain. Therefore, though you have built stone mansions, you will not live in them; though you have planted lush vineyards, you will not drink their wine. For I know how many are your offenses and how great your sins. There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts. Therefore the prudent keep quiet in such times, for the times are evil. Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph. Therefore this is what the Lord God Almighty, says:  There will be wailing in all the streets and cries of anguish in every public square. The farmers will be summoned to weep and the mourners to wail. There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will pass through your midst," says the Lord. Woe to you who long for the day of the Lord! Why do you long for the day of the Lord? That day will be darkness, not light. It will be as though a man fled from a lion only to meet a bear, as though he entered his house and rested his hand on the wall only to have a snake bite him. Will not the day of the Lord be darkness, not light--pitch dark, without a ray of brightness? "I hate, I despise your religious festivals; your assemblies are a stench to me. Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Though you bring choice fellowship offerings, I will have no regard for them.  Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! Amos 5:10-24 NIV
Creating an analogy of our political miasma with this segment of scripture is easy. People believed Hillary was evil because of the lies and false propaganda, ignoring the truth of her words and allowed evil to waltz into the White House, unfettered, surrounded by hate in Bannon and Miller and Gorka,  inbred within himself. People thought they were running from a lion and ran into the Russian bear.
And now, we are all victimized by the twitler's ego and rashness, demonstrating his lack of concern for anyone other than himself.

It is his ego that tweets out foolishness and won't harness his insecure tongue.

It is his ego that won't allow him to admit when he's wrong.

It is his ego that bullies others when he's really a coward.

It is his ego and fear that keeps him sheltering evil in the White House and allowing it to run rampant in the streets as demonstrated in Charlottesville, VA.

It is his ego that keeps him from resigning, allowing others with more experience and knowledge to set things right on the world's stage and reshape our image.

It was his ego and lies and fascination and debt to Putin that brought us to this place where the snake has bitten.

How do we rectify this situation? We consider the political party or person who is most concerned with all Americans and in keeping peace with the rest of the world. We do not need a warmonger who is "fiery and blustery" in a tweet or behind a podium. We need a strong, clear leader who can and will defend America and our allies against those who would attempt to provoke and threaten others with carnage.

Notice that we are to hate evil--acts and ideologies--not people. And the only way we can overcome hate is to learn to love.
breeding hate
We must bury hatred of people and all the elements that allow it to spread like wildfires and replace it with the growth of love within and all across the land.

There are many who will enter into the race of the 2020 election, but before we get there, we must change the landscape in Congress so we uproot all the evil that allowed us to get to this place. We need to VOTE BLUE in 2018, clearing the path for greatness without egos reigning in the process.

After the 2018 election and installing a new Congress, we must elect a person who is committed to steering us in the right direction for all Everyday Americans. We must elect a person who will listen and abide by the consensus of Americans with the ability to lead with the approval of bipartisanship in Congress. We must elect a person who is free to make decisions without provocation of donors, or political baggage that blinds and colors perception, or indebtedness to celebrities or cronies.

I'm Mary Hall-Rayford and I am ready to serve all Everyday Americans!

What A World!

Do not envy the wicked, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble. By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers. Wisdom is too high for fools; in the assembly at the gate they must not open their mouths. Proverbs 24:1-7 NIV
When we look at the world today--with the advent of every news report, from just about any news outlet except Fox, we hear the "noise" rattling around in the emptiness of something more substantial to quench our thirst for awareness. The blustering, bullying spewing from the mouth of the twitler, if not stopped, could create catastrophic disaster and will lead to lives being lost--and not just Asian lives, but American lives--in the vicinity of the other idiot.

Every time I see stupidity in action and the Republicans supporting the stupid, I am reminded that though they claim to be Christians, they have no relationship with Christ and are certainly not familiar with God's Word. Though they claim to preach the Gospel and teach Sunday School lessons, I'm convinced the gospel they preach is not of Christ and the Sunday School lessons have nothing to do with Christianity and how we are to live for Christ--doing things the way He would do them. In fact, the more Republican lawmakers make claims or reference scriptures, the more people are turned off from them since no one sees them "living The Word," they just reference it--in an attempt to convince some of their great religiosity. And that's all it is--a superficial attempt to convince by being religious, and having no clue what it means to be in Relationship with Christ.

For this reason--we may see America involved in a military engagement that will have no victors, just devastation. In a nuclear war, there are no winners and everyone loses. We lose the potential to advance peace, we lose ability to employ diplomatic policies, and we lose the respect of all those world leaders who are standing by--waiting to see how the fallout will affect them. We lose!

Many are tired of the bully posturing and though there are others who think the rhetoric is a signal of strength, we all know twitler is a school yard bully thinking everyone should cave to him. He's bullying lawmakers, and his cabinet and others, but he will not say a mumbling word against Putin because he fears Putin. Bullies are insecure people who know they have no real strength and they're always looking to make themselves to be more than they are. Bullies are not God's idea; they are the result of people not being loved and disciplined as a child, never being held accountable for their actions and growing up thinking they can make others do what they want them to do.

What twitler needs to understand now is that he is not a monarch or a dictator and he can't make anyone do anything. Republicans need to come clean with America and admit they gave into the temptation to having power and all the money they received from Russian donors was not worth the mess we see right now. They are complicit in keeping silent about a situation they had to know--in order for twitler to win the rigged election. What individuals need to do right now is to defy their pastors who tout twitler as God's choice, stand up and speak out--analyzing truth against the fictional propaganda promoted by trumptrain and Russian comrades. America needs every true Patriot to stand up and speak out, now while we have an opportunity to do so, before it's too late to change the course of bully policy.

If we survive to see 2020, America will have a better opportunity to see this country led by and for the people with me as the voice of  Everyday Americans. I will lead by example, always speaking truth and bringing other Everyday Americans to the table in making decisions that affect all. We know what we need and we don't need those who have never experienced the challenges we face to make decisions for us.

Join us in 2020 to elect the right person for the task of regaining respect and status on the world stage, making this an event like none ever seen--where America is governed by the "common-folk" who know what needs to change and are wise enough to choose those who can make it happen.

Why Hate One Another?

“How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? Proverbs 1:22 NIV
The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves. Proverbs 13:5 NIV
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Romans 12:3-10 NIV
Yesterday, I posted a poll on Twitter about why people hate others. The options were: inbred from birth, experience with others, or propagandized fear or all of the above. I anticipated that not many would respond because if they did, they would have to spend some time in thought--getting a grasp on why they hate others.

The intent of the poll was to do just that--make people think! I see so much hatred in social media posts against people that they don't know, but feel justified in making really horrible comments.
There are groups threatening a civil war simply because they don't like the fact that many Americans and MSM don't agree with the current administration in Washington. They're actually threatening a march on New York, armed with assault rifles because they don't like what the newspaper publishes--truth based upon facts uncovered.

Then, for no apparent reason--Kayleigh McEany decides to broadcast her racism by referring to people living in Nigeria in huts and continuing the birther nonsense against President Obama. Now, I get it--I really do--just about anyone speaking on behalf of 45 is speaking to an audience of one. They do what they know will pacify his ego and stoke his hatred for Obama and Hillary. That is simply a very sad, pathetic existence to have--to live allowing hatred to color every thought and to my knowledge--neither one of these has ever done anything to him. Oh wait--Obama made fun of him at correspondents dinner and Hillary told the truth about him. Yeah, that should justify hatred of them; it's not like they murdered or raped family and friends, or went out of their way to destroy his reputation (he did that on his own).

Hatred because of disagreement is misplaced at best and dangerous at its worst.

We do not have to look alike, think alike, dress alike, worship alike, or speak alike--we are all created by God, blessed with differing gifts and we should be able to accept and embrace the differences--loving one another because God is Love! For any Republican to claim to be a Christian and yet have not the love of Christ in their hearts for all people--they lie.

Though we disagree about issues, we must agree that we are all human beings and that we are capable of exercising wisdom and settling down to reason with one another--not using the opportunity to stir up hatred against others. Our disagreement can be expressed without hatred and when people don't want to face truth about a situation or people--that is still no reason to hate the ones who bring truth to light. We must learn to disagree, agreeably--without planting the seeds of hate.

There is a simple reason for me to discuss hatred.  When people hate others they don't even know--it's because they have no love for themselves. Whatever is in our hearts, that is what will come to the surface, spilling over into everything we do--whether it is hate or love. I'd rather keep asking God to "refill" me with love rather than allow hatred to seed and grow in my heart. Perhaps, this is why I don't understand hatred--there's no room in my heart for it.

In our current political environment, we see so much hatred in policy proposals, actions and attitudes of people who are white against those who are brown and black and none of this hatred will ever bring about greatness for any of us--only unconditional love--compassion for all, will ever truly make us great.

I'm capable of unconditional love--promoting truth and not lies--and serving the needs of all Americans because I understand that Raising The Standards for Everyday Americans--financially and spiritually and culturally will make the greatest difference in the lives of all.

Changing My Tone!

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them. It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you. My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you, how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you! Galatians 4:16-20 NIV
"For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth." 2 Corinthians 13:8 NIV

When everything we attempt to do creates uncertainty in how others see us, we must remember we have options--always in obey The Word. This does not mean we accept lies as truth, but to continue to speak truth, without animosity--making sure truth is understood and not just our opinions.

I've been writing truths about the current resident in the Oval Office and complaining about as much as others who are concerned about the erosion of democracy under his "illegitimate" election win. We know without doubt Russian meddling influenced the outcome of the election. It's not about "waiting for the evidence" to be presented for all the world to see; we see it in his tweets--his desperation to distract with lie and more false propaganda, declaring all other news, "fake news" except purported by Fox News and now his propaganda machine, his tv news outlet with supposed, "real news," reported by his lying surrogates, feeding his ego. I guess some so-called Christians don't have a problem risking spending eternity in the lake of fire--prepared for those who are liars.

election2
At any rate, I decided it's time for a change. By now, everyone with a functioning brain knows there is a problem in the White House which will soon be eradicated--one way or the other. And since people didn't want to believe truth about the situation before now, perhaps, they'll remove their blinders and see clearly, the danger which America faces with an incompetent, narcissistic person in the White House.

From this point forward until the General Election in 2020, I plan to promote my bid for president--outlining and presenting in somewhat exhaustive manner--why I'm qualified to serve America. I'm changing my tone and focusing on Raising The Standards for Everyday Americans.

Raising The Standards
Let's begin with my understanding of what a president should know. (If this is redundant, please forgive the urgency I feel to let readers know where I stand.)

Other than being a legitimately elected leader, the person holding the office of President of the United States should understand what the office entails before being sworn into office. This person should have some understanding of the following:

• How government works (the three branches and how they are to operate in governance)
• Who America’s Allies and Adversaries are
• The importance of maintaining a strong military to defend the nation
• How to be fiscally responsible with tax-payer funds in order to keep the government running efficiently and smoothly
• How to embrace collaborative efforts in Congress
• The purpose of the Constitution and knowing what it takes to uphold it and protect democracy
• The History of the nation’s struggles and achievements
• Moving country forward with innovative ideas and technological aspirations
• Protecting the vulnerable from predatory practices
• The importance of everyone participating in a democratic society
• The importance of interactive, collaborations with other world leaders for economic reasons and to protect the planet.
• Recognizing the need for equality in the workplace between males and females
• Disavowing and condemning acts of discrimination regardless of race, religion, or gender.
• Promoting Unity and Instead of Divisiveness
• The boundaries of the office President—recognize being president of the United States does not mean having “all authority” or being a dictator or tyrant. Loyalty should be to Constitution and Americans, not an individual or groups of donors.
• Know that the White House is not an opportunity to promote personal business interests; the president should promote America’s interest not personal ones.
• Knowing the importance of transparency, having values and integrity; conducting oneself with dignity at all times.
• Know the difference between governing and campaigning with civility towards all.
• Know that the “rule of law” supersedes personal opinion and must be upheld
• Know that elected Congress doesn’t work for President but for their constituents.

All of this and more is on my Face Book page for Everyday Americans at www.facebook.com/YesIAm2020. If you're checking it out, be sure to come back frequently for updates. I am so much more to say and my official Bio will be up by the end of summer. Until then, please seek direction from God (not me) as to who should get your vote in any election--not tainted by foreign actors meddling by peddling false propaganda.

The Value in Traditions!

Follow my example as I follow Christ. I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you. I Corinthians 11:1,2 NIV
There are some traditions that hold intrinsic value to a functioning society in stabilizing order and peace. When we think about which traditions we follow and honor--some without realizing how they came to be or why we still do them--we should also consider the purpose or how they impact society as a whole.

If one continues to read the above-referenced passage of scripture, they would notice a tradition that was established by many churches because they misunderstood what Paul was saying. First of all, in order to understand why Paul said anything, we have to know that he was responding to questions posed to him by members of the churches. He provides us with a specific order that we should recognize and to avoid further debate about the man-superiority/authority-over-woman syndrome, understand this reference was to those who are married.

The head of every man--is Christ and if that is not true, nothing else matters. The head of the woman is the man (in Christ) and the head of Christ is God. While understanding this, we have to know that God is the head of all. This is why Paul implores the church to follow him as he follows Christ.

Okay, getting back to the tradition--women wearing hats in church services--some people missed the point that Paul said, "her hair is her covering." Anyway, here's where I catapult to other traditions.

Some traditions we should honor and some we should abandon. We should honor those traditions that were instilled in us by loving parents and a caring society.

We should speak to people in passing since it doesn't cost us anything to be polite.

We should raise our children to be respectful of self and others; especially the elderly.

We should instill in our children the value of doing what's right and always telling the truth.

We should always instill in our children the value of earning respect and their way in life, legitimately.

Raising children right these days appears to be a challenge for many and I can only conclude that somewhere along the line--valuable traditions were dropped by the wayside.

When it comes to our contemporary society, we must encourage all to pay attention to truth, push back against the lies, and be willing to stand for justice--for all people.

One of the reasons why we have such chaos in Washington right now is someone dropped the ball. Discipline was not the rule of the day in the household of the trump family and it is evident in what we see in the Oval Office and how out of order things are.

I was thinking back to some of the traditions I was taught as I was doing my mile walk this morning and I appreciated my training in common courtesy. Everyone I saw, I spoke to and they returned the greeting. This happens on a regular basis, but it made an impact on me this morning, realizing that it was because of those traditions instilled in me that I could speak to a person and be pleasant to them whether I knew them or not. In fact, most people I pass by often smile with their greeting and I can only imagine it's because I smile when I greet them. Such a wonderful tradition!

The other traditional values instilled were about honesty and the consequences of lying. I learned early in life that the consequences were not worth a lie. That still holds true--it is so much easier to tell the truth and not worry about anyone discovering a lie.

What I often repeat to my grandson is this: If you only do the right thing, you never have to worry about doing the wrong thing. It's a premise that works and leave me in a position not to concern myself with oppositional research.

I can own truth and disregard manufactured lies. I have no control over what people manufacture and I have no reason to address such things. I do know everything I've ever done and nothing in that knowledge led me to jail or doing drugs. Therefore--all the haters can do is seek and discover truth; if there are lies presented it's because they manufactured them. Simple as that.

No matter what happens, I'm on a mission to seek support for my presidential bid in 2020 and I won't stop until it's over. I hope readers will have an opportunity to review my stances on some issues, what I think a president should know and hear me speak out about the same. Videos are less than three minutes long and will be updated periodically. I encourage all to stay tuned in to www.facebook.com/YesIAm2020.

We'll Keep Trying Until Heard!

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions.  Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from their flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:1-10 NIV
The Word of God is yet speaking to all who will hear and for those of us who preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we have to keep trying to reach others with the Gospel until we are heard. We also have to keep trying until we are heard about other things in life as it pertains to doing things--especially to those who belong to Jesus. What about those who don't belong? What is our obligation to them? We keep speaking truth until we are heard, even when they rebuke us, attempt to abuse us, and belittle us. We keep trying until we are heard. Never has that premise been more important than it is right now.

America is in a state of near crisis with the fallout of impending investigations against the residents in the White House (seemingly all of them) and as a result, not much is being accomplished by way of actual governing. It would appear that trump had determined from the beginning of his tenure that he didn't want any "advice from the swamp." He is yet referencing the political arena in Washington as the swamp, without realizing that he has not drained it, but restocked it with more toxic and dangerous pariahs than existed before he got there. Though he claims the White House is a dump (via a Golf magazine), his being there devalues the history and sacredness of all the White House symbolizes for one who is supposed to be the leader of the free world.

Recent information leads me to believe he never wanted to be there, but wanted to humiliate Hillary and Obama. The only person he has humiliated so far has been himself. He is a one-man wrecking crew of all that is sacred and presidential. His one goal--other than making a spectacle of himself has been to keep his base chanting, "Lock her up," apparently because he has forgotten he won a rigged election and there has never been a reason to lock up Hillary Clinton. Of course, the chant work to keep his crowds at rallies fueled by the hatred, but who's going to save him when the rest of the world starts chanting, "lock him up?"

That chant won't be held at a campaign rally but on the world stage as we watch his entire façade collapse around him and all the evidence is presented against him for RICO Violations or collusion or a number of other things-including obstruction of justice and just being plain foolish. If he didn't want to govern, he never should have run for president; especially since there seems to be so much he was trying to hide.

Hiding things from people is one thing, but God has said that everything done in the dark will be exposed in the light of day. His repetitive objections to Robert Mueller's investigative boundaries have been heard loud and clear. He's fearful because he has something to hide; if he didn't he would have no need to fear. The real problem is his only way to deal with impending defeat is to stir up his base with lies, ahead of any final conclusions, in hopes that he'll keep them ready to defend him.
What he has done so far that we know about--is indefensible--whatever is exposed through investigation will result with the same attitudes by many--indefensible, and we who know truth, will not defend him.

But there are those who have been gaslighted--brainwashed into believing his lies and they will need time to regroup and rethink their blind loyalty to a man who is loyal to no one other than himself. We've tried talking to them, but they responded with belittling comments and name-calling. We're tried directing them to information needed to corroborate what we say, and we've been accused of being elitist or having a "cosmopolitan bias." What they fail to realize is that he is the "elitist" one who is taking them for a ride which will prove bumpy and hazardous by the time it's over. But we won't stop trying until we're heard.

Part of my desire to serve America as the next president is because of my love of country and fellow Patriots. I do know how to do good things for others without the need to grandstand or be the center of attention wherever I go. I know how to serve in humility and am grateful for all who support me in all things. I encourage others who have been disdained by trump followers to not stoop to their level, but to raise the bar and to engage on a level that will bring them understanding, not condescension.  It's harder than it sounds and it takes a great deal of effort not to react to their comments, but to respond to them. I'm living it on a daily basis and because God loves, He gets me through it all.

There will be a few more chapters written to this saga--the trump era in the White House--before I get my turn, but know that no matter what, we'll keep trying until we are heard, to make sure we can live in peace and harmony, respecting and loving one another, not hating one another.

Thanks for your kindness and support in reading my thoughts and sharing them whenever you're led to do so. I encourage you to keep up with my campaign efforts by visiting www.facebook.com/YesIAm2020 often since the information is constantly updated.

Here's The Message!

We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. Now, we declare God's wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destine for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of age understood it, for if they had, they would have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived"--the things God has prepared for those who love him--these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. I Corinthians 3:6-10 NIV
The message that we need to hear more than anything else is a message of love, integrity, and honor.
That message will drive out the hatred that dwells in the hearts of so many who called themselves the alt-right and white nationalists groups who proclaim to be Christians.

How can they claim to be Christians and hate? They're not really Christians; they're religious and use the Bible and Christianity to try to control and dehumanize others.  We are not blind or deaf to the "noise" and chatter that promotes and encourages foul acts of violence against others. We know that trump's election was a ploy for the white nationalists to put into place their own agenda of denying anyone who is brown or black the privileges and rights that prevail in this country.

They want to "purify" the country, by eliminating other cultures and groups of people to thrive here. This is no different that other countries trying to "purify" their countries by killing off those who are not like them. Now, they want to decry foul against affirmative action claiming rural white Americans have an opioid problem because of it.

There is no sane rationale for any white person to claim "discrimination" in this country when they have had opportunities denied to people of color and various ethnicities for centuries. The discrimination claims are biased and steeped in racism as depicted by the racist Jeff Sessions.

So, if the message is not love--unconditionally--all the nationalists and alt-right groups can expect to never know what God's plans are for them other than to know, they are doomed because of their hatred of all God created.

For those who think this post is harsh; it is and it is because of love that I speak truth to the devil so all of his minions will know--I'm onto them and so are many others. We will not be silent and allow hatred to reign in this country. This is America and as Americans, we will fight for the rights of all Americans and beat down racist discriminatory acts against people of all races. And for the WH idiot to say, "the White House is a dump" demonstrates his lack of respect for the government and institutions that keep this country great. He should leave with no further comment and go back to his tower, and suck on his hatred away from other human beings.

We are the true Christians--defending the rights of the poor, needy and vulnerable and we do not act out of religious piety that serves no purpose. All human beings are God's creation, and no one has a right to dehumanize another. We will remove the hatred from the White House and all those in positions appointed by the hater--influenced by Bannon and Miller.

And when we do, we will set the stage for the renewal of a mindset that cares about people; especially if I'm elected president in 2020. Watch out haters! A change is coming in the BlueWave Tsunami in 2018 and beyond. We care about all of God's people, not just some.
