Quick Reactions!

Do you see someone who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for them. Proverbs 29:20 NIV
When we are reactionaries--reacting to situations rather than responders--we tend to do things we later regret or cause us remorse.

The toddler-in-chief in the White House is a reactionary--he thinks he's being tough being a bully, insulting others. He's not tough--he's insecure and weak--and his hasty reactions demonstrate his lack of ability to intellectually reason through any situation. His thin-skinned nature--unable to take comments from others in stride as real leaders learn to do, is a dangerous situation for all America.

His lack of discipline and impulsivity indicate a serious cognitive impairment and he's crying out for help, but his enablers--who won't tell him the truth--are leading him down a merry path of destruction for them--and the rest of us.

It only takes a second to react to a situation--igniting other reactions--and none of them positive.

It takes time to think--rationally--to provide an intelligent response to situation--that won't ignite or fuel stupidity.

trump is a reactor--not a responder and that makes him dangerous for all and let's not forget--he has the nuclear codes--not a good idea for a person incapable of thinking first.

But don't take my word for it--just review his actions for the last six months--without the rose-colored or rather "conservative" blinders.

Every day, he proves that we deserve a better leader--one who is capable of rational thought and will lead the country for the benefit of all Everyday Americans. I encourage all to read www.facebook.com/YesIAm2020 and judge for yourself if in fact, I would be a more stable leader in the White House. We cannot expect change in the White House from a reactionary, so we must change who is in the White House so a responder is making decisions for all Americans.

He's Watching!

He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them--he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. Psalm 146:6-9 NIV
No matter how gloomy the environment gets with the ways of those who claim to know God, but demonstrate they do not, we can rest assured, that nothing escapes The Lord. He hears it all, sees it all, and He will reward each and every person according to their deeds.

God is watching those who are trying to oppress by separating families and suppressing voters. He is watching those who are being detained, deported and imprisoned--unjustly. He is watching those who are trying to keep people from dreaming of better days with the totally inept and incompetent, heartless Republican Congress who would keep people from leading healthy lives.

God is watching how Republicans make a sham and mockery of saying they "serve God and country" when neither is evident with their current actions. They do not know Jesus Christ since they do not care about the poor and the needy and are doing all they can to put to death those who are not wealthy enough to afford healthcare. They are not the righteous; they are the unrighteous and all their rhetoric and deeds--in secret--and openly are known to God, and He will expose them all. There is nothing we can say that God doesn't hear and nothing we can do that He doesn't see. He's watching.

It is truly unfortunate for all Americans that some had so much hatred and vitriol rising up within them they voted for hatred and racism and heartlessness to reside in the White House. Now, everyone must suffer for their lack of vision, for the Word says, without a vision, the people perish.

Here's my vision--in 2018--we elect the party that cares about all Americans, not just some of them and rid ourselves of the menace that currently resides in the White House. In 2020, we elect a woman--with no political baggage, no ties to Russia, and no celebrity status, but a wealth of experience in knowing the challenges faced by Everyday Americans,  how to treat people and in seeking the qualified to fill positions of authority. We can do something about the current environment if we are bold enough to do what is right, more than what is politically expedient and then sit back and moan and groan with the consequences. God is watching it all and He knows how
He wants to be represented in the earth, and it is not by a group of people who do not live like He wants us to live and certainly not by a toddler-in-chief who lacks maturity, wisdom, and common sense.

Continue In Faith!

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through our blemish and free from accusation--if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in this gospel. Colossians 1:17-23 NIV

No matter what idiocy we see from the White House, no matter how much we hate to see the fate of the nation in the hands of an unstable, inept administration, we must continue in the faith--refusing to budge from the hope--that we will be victorious in the end because it is God's desire that we succeed in all things that are like Him.

The rub--for many and felt by many--is the consistently false notion that only Republicans are true Christians. We see--the world sees--this is not true since their only concern is appeasing the rich and their corporate donors; they have no concern for the poor and the vulnerable. Therefore, their behavior is not Christ-like and they can have no claim to being followings of Jesus Christ. We are told in The Word, we shall know who belongs to Christ by our love for one another.

Love does not seek to hurt, harm or abandon--leaving people totally disenfranchised within a society that is supposed to have governance for all people--not just some.

Love--unconditional love--lifts and encourages, provides the means to ease suffering, making sure the poor eat and have shelter. There is no love demonstrated by the GOP in Washington that will remotely help the poor. However, there are Republican governors who are speaking up to protect their constituents from the ravages of not having appropriate healthcare. We have yet to see how the most recent atrocity of a healthcare bill will proceed.

For those of us watching in the wings, we must continue in the faith we have that no matter what they do--we still have a job to do. We must continue, openly opposing actions that will devastate millions; we must continue to support those who will speak up for the poor and the needy and where we can, we must get actively involved in the process by running for something--a political office where our voices can be heard and we can make a difference.

It is because of my concern about the present administration and their lack of ability to understand how government works in a democracy that I'm driven--by love for all--to run for President in 2020. This is why I shall reference this often in all my subsequent blogs as I lay the foundation, seeking support to make this run a reality and not just a possibility. I encourage anyone reading this blog and others to look at my page on FaceBook (www.facebook.com/YesIAm2020) to see where I stand and the potential proposals I plan to make life better for Everyday Americans. Leave a comment and let me know what you think--pro or con--(not nasty) and if you'd like to join this coalition, let me know that, too! And don't forget to continue in faith, never losing hope!

Fools and Boasting!

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; and outsider, and not your own lips. Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but a fool's provocation is heavier than both. Proverbs 27:1-3 NIV
Whenever we have to promote ourselves as being, "the greatest, the best, the most wonderful," of anything--we indicate we do not trust the judgment of others.

If we take an honest look at the path trump has taken to the White House, we find (with careful scrutiny) he has been his own public relations promoter. The fact he lies about it is another issue, but he is the one who "called the press" and boasted of his exploits. He is the one who proclaims his net worth (which varies according to his feelings). He is the one who claims he is the only who can "fix the ills of the world." More recently, his claim to coining the phrase, "priming the pump" is so ludicrous that many--including me--laughed at his lack of understanding of history. He also claims that "using solar panels to build a wall" is his idea when he actually got it from two contractors who were bidding for the contract. His claims also include having influence over Carrier and Ford and other companies when in fact, decisions made by those companies occurred long before trump was elected, but it didn't stop him from trying to take credit for those company's decisions.

Let's face it--whenever people boast of their own prowess and knowledge--it's because it would be difficult for others to do it--without evidence to document what they say.

Since it would be "gossiping" to some extent to talk about other people, I have to use myself as an example. I have seldom commented on how others perceive my ability to teach because I don't know what they're thinking unless they tell me. I love to teach and I have one goal when I teach--to make sure those sitting in front of me know more than when they first attended class. I tell each class--I'm there to help them to succeed since they need no help to fail.

According to my students--at least those who passed my classes--my goal was met. Those who didn't pass the class either were slothful in attendance and did not complete required work.

Whenever I've been observed by colleagues or those in academic positions to observe me as part of an evaluative process, I've always been commended on my approach to teaching and engaging students in the process. Those written comments are documented as part of my employee file.

The student evaluations also document my ability to engage students in the process of learning as well as my own audit of every class. I always ask my students for their input on how things are progressing, what they need to know that has not been introduced, or if I need to try a different approach to information discussed. Their responses to my inquiries are always helpful and in a few instances, I've adjusted what I do based on their comments.

As another testament to my teaching ability, I was nominated by students to be included in the "Who's Who of Teaching" for several years in a row.

If I had to assess my own abilities as a teacher I'd have to say, "I'm not the person to ask." I love teaching and I love what I teach both in a secular settings and in ministry. I've been told I've very passionate when I present information and guide discussions and that would be true. If I didn't have strong beliefs in what I do, I couldn't do it well.

That being said, I have nothing to boast about when it comes to being president of the United States. I haven't been in politics before now, but I'm looking forward to the challenge and opportunity to serve Everyday Americans. I know enough about leadership not to provoke those who are in alliance with me and to not abandon those who are looking for a leader to lead for all--not just some of the people, and to seek those who know more than I do to place in positions of authority.

Praying For Wisdom!

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. By wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:13-24 NIV
In light of all the uproar and disastrous policy-making in Washington, DC by those who appear to lack wisdom, we must pray for wisdom--for them and for us. If they refuse to hear The Lord speak to their hearts, we must be open to hearing The Lord speak to our hearts and proceed with wisdom and knowledge in electing future legislators and in making the best decisions for our bodies and healthcare--if we plan to see long life.

We must look to The Lord for our example--moving in wisdom, knowledge and understanding and when we do, we'll end up with the results He promises--blessed beyond measure with riches and honor, long life, peace and sweet sleep. There's no need to fear when the love of Christ abides in our hearts and we know how to love others--unconditionally.

Father, in the name of Jesus,

We acknowledge that our wisdom is as dust in the wind and we have no idea where the dust will land or what will become of it. To You, O Lord, we look for direction, seeking Your Wisdom and knowledge in order to complete the journey of life You have planned for us.

Forgive us for thinking in our arrogance that we did not need You; we need You every hour of every day and our hearts are open to hearing what You have to say. We are determined to obey You in all things and we know that love covers a multitude of sins and that You know our motives for doing everything we do. Help us to keep our focus on You, Your Word deeply embedded in our hearts, and our tongues always exercising caution and wisdom so others will hear what we have to say.

Lord, for all those who have hardened their hearts against You and hearing what You have to say about all things, cut away the insecurities, the fear, the hate, the bigotry, the animosity and envy that has hardened their hearts and replace all that is not like You, with love overflowing.

Let compassion, wisdom and understanding reign in the hearts of all who are in positions of authority so that none have any reason to fear the outcome of decisions that affect millions of lives. Pour knowledge and understanding into the hearts of those who choose persons to be in positions of authority so wisdom wins and none will know lack--of anything.

We give You praise and thanks for all You have done and all You will do on behalf of all those who sincerely love You and act as You will have us to act--representing all You are. Let no one deter us from following the path You have established for us so You and only You get the glory for all we do.

Amen!

No matter what happens in life--we must move forward knowing that with Jesus going before us--we have nothing to fear when Love is our guiding force.

I encourage all to seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding for all upcoming elections and seek The Lord as to who will provide us great leadership, acting out of love--not envy, hate, or pride--doing what is right for the sake of doing what is right--not drawing attention to self--acting out of
pride.

I have sought The Lord and I'm seeking a path to run for president in 2020--making an official announcement in 2019 and I encourage all to seek the Lord and then obey what You hear.

Our Turn Is Coming!

Do not rejoice, Israel; do not be jubilant like the other nations. For you have been unfaithful to your God; you love the wages of a prostitute at every threshing floor. Threshing floors and winepresses will not feed the people; the new wine will fail them. They will not remain in the Lord's land; Ephraim will return to Egypt and eat unclean food in Assyria. They will not pour out wine offerings to the Lord, nor will their sacrifices please him. Such sacrifices will be to them like the bread of mourners; all who eat them will be unclean. This food will be for themselves; it will not come into the temple of the Lord. Hosea 9:1-4 NIV
Taking a little literary license this morning, I'm substituting words to bring to light the disastrous policymaking we have in Washington.

Substitute GOP Congress for Israel, lobbyists for prostitute, GOP policy for threshing floors, Tea Party for Ephraim, the 1% for Egypt, the wealthy for Assyrians.

The Republicans in Congress appear to be jubilant in their efforts to keep millions of Americans from having access to affordable healthcare. Remember this is the party who claims to be the "moral majority" the Conservative Christian rights--the only ones who matter when it comes to Christianity--"they say."

So if we go by what they say, God warned us in His Word about them. They have fallen short and will return to a place where they will eat "unclean food" (toxic from all the roll-back of regulations implemented to safeguard consumers). Their decisions won't provide food or clean water for the poor and certainly not healthcare. The savings in tax cuts will only benefit the very wealthy, not the poor and the needy who Jesus commanded us to care for.

The Republican Congress has allowed their greed fed by lobbyists to drive their ambitions and policymaking which does not benefit all Americans. They are driven by a minority of voters (not the majority since the majority didn't vote), many of whom have said, they wanted to keep their existing healthcare--now that they know it is the ACA, and not Obamacare. But then we have to look at how bigoted Republicans perpetuated hatred of "Obamacare" by refusing to call it by its right name--Affordable Care Act. They knew exactly how to erode trust in a product by appealing to racism and bigotry in their rhetoric--across the land.

Now that people are becoming wise to the fact--Obamacare is the ACA--many are protesting losing their only access to healthcare and to make matters worse, trump and the GOP have sabotaged the system by withholding payments creating a wariness within the insurance providers' community. This was done intentionally to make it look like--Obamacare was failing.

For those who haven't read the 142 page draft for healthcare, I suggest you do to see who really benefits from the billions cut from Medicaid--and you'll discover--if you're not part of the 1% of the wealthiest population, it does not benefit you.

Just remember this--even if the repugnant republicans pass this bill and trump signs it--we will simply have to wait until 2020--to create a new bill--one with compassion and teeth that actually benefits all Americans and is truly representative of who Jesus Christ is. Apparently, the GOP have forgotten that being a Christian means that we follow Jesus Christ and do what He did and does--not a political party agenda.

I am a blood-bought Believer in Jesus Christ, living according to His command to love--unconditionally. I know when He was crucified, His blood was shed for me and I refuse to make a mockery of who He is, by supporting policies that dehumanize any human being. Because of my love for people--especially those who are not able to speak up and out for themselves, I will announce my official candidacy in 2019 in my bid for president in 2020. Watch for it. With the Lord leading me in all things, we will rejoice across the land and every other country will know--America is the greatest nation on earth!

Staying Focused!

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed. Proverbs 15:22 NIV
How many times have we planned to do something without adequate information? Those who know what I'm talking about, understand not having all the information needed to make an informed decision causes problems.

This happens in a number of instances. Deciding to paint a house without determining how much paint is needed, including the base or trim, or tape and brushes and tarps, and paint remover, etc. usually ends up with multiple trips to a store. Planning a dinner without checking to make sure one has all the necessary ingredients will cause frustration and anxiety if it's a special dinner. How about making a cake? Do we check to make sure we have eggs, flour, butter, sugar, etc. and the right cake pans before we start baking or do we end up running out to the store in the middle of making the cake?

If thinking about the above-mentioned things is important, how much more so is it important for us to know everything a major decision entails before we jump in, head first?

There are three things I want to reflect upon:
a)  The Special Elections in SC and GA
b) The Secret Healthcare Bill
c) Deciding to run for President

First, the special election results--were predictable and not a surprise to anyone, though some were disappointed. The difference in the outcome may have been changed with "consulting others with more experience," but though the Democrats did not win the seats, they did better than they were supposed to do--if we listen to Republicans.

Next, the secret healthcare bill being drafted by a handful of Republicans or their staffers and though not all have seen, Mitch McConnell expects to have a vote on it, without everyone being privy to it, and without "consulting the experts" to make sure any plans would be effective in keeping everyone insured. McConnell claims the Democrats didn't want to participate in the process, but the truth is--they were not invited to participate in the process, but neither were most of the Republicans. This is not a wise decision and if passed by Senate and House--will come back to bite Republicans in the butt on November 6, 2018. People have a bad habit of remembering those who plan to cause them harm--and they will remember it was the Republicans who took their healthcare.

Last of all--my decision to run for president. I've spent a great deal of my time, researching various aspects of issues on which I take a definitive stance and in talking to a multitude of people, getting their perspectives and seeing how they align with my own. We're in the process of forming a coalition to create challenges for me--to fine-tune my thinking about "everything." This is not to say I need to "know" everything, but I should know how to direct people to find answers I don't have.  In fact, I should know the people who have the answers and I'm working on it.

I'm watching all the political flurry across the nation and getting involved with local politics and it is a lot of work--not an undertaking anyone should consider lightly. I've given this a great deal of thought and nothing I've discovered so far has deterred me from my quest.

I'm thinking so far ahead that I've already contacted my local police department to alert them of possible traffic congestion in my neighborhood, once I officially announce my candidacy. I don't want my neighbors to get upset with me when reporters are taking up all the available space on the streets or clamoring for interviews at all hours. Just one thing on my check list--done.

Considering the fact that trump knew years before he ran that he was going to run for president, I would have thought he had an inkling as to how government works. He doesn't and that is appalling on a number of levels.

At any rate, I will plan wisely with the assistance of wise counsel from various walks of life and be ready to answer any question that is asked of me.  By March 2019, I'll be ready.

Did You Know?

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will find favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3,4 NIV
A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Proverbs 22:1 NIV
Most people are remembered by what they do and the association their name brings to a situation.  The Word tells us that when we obey God, we'll find favor and a  good name in the sight of God and man. I'm counting on God's Word to see me through the decision-making process as I contemplate running for President in 2020. I'm doing the exploration now in hopes of establishing a coalition of people who have similar ideas and values and will support my run. Fortunately for me, I have until June of 2019 to make that decision and once made--is irreversible. This is too important for me to take lightly so I must consider all things from every possible angle.

The real hindrance to a successful run at this juncture--is not many know who I am and some of those who do--are either skeptical of my ability to win or frightened at what running could cost me--all loss of privacy.

So, here's my attempt to alleviate the skepticism and fear.

I was born and raised in West Virginia--lived in London and Montgomery and for a very brief time--Harlem Heights until my mother and stepfather separated.

I've been told that my mother and father were divorced by the time I was a year-old (of course I wouldn't remember that) and after that--well, life had its ups and downs.

The only time I ran for any office--I was in the eleventh grade and ran for class president. I lost to a boy named Tommy (can't remember his last name), a very popular blind student and there was no bitterness in the loss. Like every competition--there's a winner and a loser. I would have supported Tommy as a class president for our senior year, but that opportunity was denied me when my mother decided to move to Detroit, Michigan.

That decision--was a pivotal point in my life--one that I don't think my mother ever understood and since I didn't want to be in Detroit, I became a rebellious teenager to the nth degree. I didn't do anything illegal, but I no longer cared what anyone thought of me and did what I wanted to do. I quit school after one semester at Northern High School because the atmosphere was so violent I didn't want to be there. I later went back and took the two classes needed for my diploma during summer school.

I managed to get a partial scholarship to Detroit Institute of Technology, but circumstances impeded my progress and I only finished one term. From there, I worked various jobs: file clerk, paraprofessional for Detroit Public Schools, to bank teller for various banks in both Michigan and Texas, a telephone service representative for Houston Lighting and Power, a secretary for Crain Communications, Inc. and an inspector and counselor for United Community Housing Coalition. Due to car accident that impeded my ability to drive as much as I needed to drive, I ended up leaving that job and eventually going back to college.

In between some of the various and sundry jobs--I acknowledged a calling into ministry in 1987 and completed courses of study to that end, licensed 1990 and later ordained in 1996.

In 1997, I graduated from Wayne State University with a BA in Sociology and English, and in 2002 completed an MA in English and Speech, and continued my education towards a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction in English and Special Education. I finished the coursework, but changed my mind about where I saw a career in education headed and am now considered--ABD--all but Dissertation.

I've taught in a number of environments--public schools as a substitute teacher and as a certified teacher, and college professor as well as in various churches. I've taught in a Catholic school and charter schools.

I've written and directed plays as well as supervised student directors.

I've written a number of books--most of which can be found on Amazon.com, covering a wide range of interests. Two of the books written are the result of challenging myself in the NaNoWriMo challenge in November. The first year I wrote the required 50,000 words in 15 days, the second year in 9 days.

I've been nominated for teacher of the year, profiled in Who's Who in Teaching, and involved in the National Writing Project on a local level at Oakland University and Wayne State University.

I've been volunteered for a number non-profits--one of which I founded.

Most of what I've done is out of a sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of others and so far, I think I've been pretty successful.

At any rate, whatever a person wants to know about me can be found in a book or in a blog--I have no problem in publicizing my inner reflections about me or others or situations--as most of my readers know. But for those who don't know--have fun doing the research. I have two wonderful children, three grandchildren and a husband I adore.

The purpose of this blog post--is to alert anyone who thinks they can find anything "potentially damaging" to my intent to run for president. I encourage the "investigation" because I have nothing to hide. I've lived the life of an Everyday American with ups and downs, trials and tribulations, defeats and victories.

Did you know all this? Well, now you know! Remember the name and join me in helping to make a difference in the lives of Everyday Americans!

Need Refreshing?

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "When I bring them back from captivity, the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: 'The Lord bless you, you prosperous city, you sacred mountains.' People will live together in Judah all its towns--farmers and those who move about with their flocks. I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." After this I awoke and looked around. My sleep had been pleasant to me. "The days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals. Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant," declares the Lord. "In those days people will no longer say, "The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.' Jeremiah 31: 23-29 NIV (read it all)
It is time for a refreshing--a fresh anointing and filling of Holy Spirit so we can survive the tediousness of the bizarre behavior consistently assaulting us from the White House. Don't know about others, but I'm taking a break from watching stupidity and those who employ it as a means of communicating.

So, for the next few days, I'll be reblogging posts since brain cells need time to unload the nonsense that assails every time I turn on a television or even dare to look at social media. When nothing going on around you makes sense, it's time to step back and analyze the situation from a new perspective and refocus before we can go forward. When attorneys need attorneys--something big is about to go down and all the screaming, tweeting and yelling, is not going to change that, but confession of guilt--will save millions and eliminate the tediousness of watching America erode.

Clarity, Lord, clarity is what I seek to move forward as I prepare for the biggest challenge I've ever faced. I'm not intimidated by the foolishness and I will continue exploring the possibility of a run for president in 2020.

When Wrongs Rise!

A false witness will perish, but a careful listener will testify successfully. The wicked put up a bold front but the upright give thought to their ways. There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. Proverbs 21: 28-31 NIV
The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper. Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe. Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses. When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive. Proverbs 28:25-28 NIV
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:13-17 NIV
There is no time in history in which wrongs committed did not surface for all to see. Since there is nothing new under the sun, we can expect the wrongs committed now and in the 2016 election to rise to the surface for all to see and understand how we came to be in this place of chaos and disorder.

The Word from James says it best; "where there is envy and selfish ambition, we'll find disorder and every evil practice." Think about that for a moment.

Who has benefitted from the 2016 election? Who is reversing policies that protected the consumer and the poor? Who has installed family members in the White House who are using their positions to enrich their bank accounts? Who hated President Obama so much they are constantly trying to outdo or undo everything President Obama did for the sake of all Americans? Who has stirred up hate and conflict with their rhetoric and promotion of violence? Who has "removed the hate groups" from the terror watch and eased gun restrictions so the hate groups can harm themselves--in readiness for the coup to take over the government, demolishing democracy? Who indeed is about to reap what they have sown?

It is truly unfortunate that people's lives were put at risk when the shooting that occurred in Virginia on yesterday and it's equally unfortunate that the shooter apparently had his sights set on Republicans. I'm not condoning violence in any form and I'm praying for the victims as well as the family of the shooter. But this is the result of frustration--brought about by a lack of trust in the current leadership and those in Congress. None of the policies under discussion will benefit the poor and the needy and in deed will cause them more harm. I don't know if this is the reason the shooter pulled the trigger; this is only speculation on my part. When people are frustrated beyond measure and can get no relief from a government that is supposed to consider all Americans, they take their frustration and desperation out on others--causing even more problems.

I pray the shooting incident will lead to Congressional Accord between the parties and they will work together to solve our nation's problems and come up with solutions that will benefit all, not just the rich. It should not matter which part holds the majority in Congress if they all care about all Americans--compromise should be possible and even mandated to ensure democracy works in this country.

Where there is no clear leadership (as we have seen for the past six months), militia groups rise and thrive creating even more discord as they perpetuate the promotion of fear, hate, and violence. I would hope that we can prevent this from rising to a level of no-return but all of us, must be vigilant and wise in all we do. Leadership in positions of authority is needed to keep this country on the right track and that means we must vote--exercising wisdom.

I'm counting on wisdom from above to guide all in 2020 as I seek the presidency, providing a strong, clear voice that advocates for all Everyday Americans.

Captivity Looming!

Hear and pay attention, do not be arrogant, for the Lord has spoken. Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom. If you do not listen, I will weep in secret because of your pride; my eyes will weep bitterly, overflowing with tears, because the Lord's flock will be taken captive. Jeremiah 13:15-17 NIV (read all for complete context)
When the enemy either raises up within the land or arrives on the shores--there will be no discrimination as to who will be taken captive--in the eyes of those who seek to destroy America--no one is safe or guaranteed freedom from abuse and misuse.

It would appear that the foundation of our democracy is eroding with each passing day when elected officials, turn their backs on the constitution to praise a man--a mere mortal who is not worthy of praise, yet their loyalty to him is greater than the loyalty to the Constitution. They praise the man as though he is a god--when he knows no god other than himself.

The enablers--from the WH administration to those on Capitol Hill--will be responsible for the death of a nation because the elected leadership refused to do its job. Where there is no clear, just leadership--a nation is subject to captivity and an entire civilization will cease to exist.  A study of history reveals this, but the problem with those in leadership positions is they have ignored history and we know--those of us who understand the ramifications of not knowing history--history will repeat itself until those past lessons are learned.

We have a puppet government in place and nothing will be accomplished because the puppet master wants all in disarray and confusion. He is laughing his butt off at how easily he corrupted the great American Democracy--making a fool of everyone who succumbed to his false propaganda and put the puppet leader in the White House. With promises to access to great riches, trump honed into gaining access to the Oval Office like a bee seeking pollen and nectar from flowers. For trump--the Oval Office is the flower and all his enablers are battling to be the one who brings him the most nectar--or access to enriching himself through others.

And let's not forget those in Congress--the ones who swore an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution (trump swore an oath, too that meant nothing to him since oaths don't). Anyone with a functioning brain and eyes can see the erosion crumbling every cornerstone of the Constitution when those appointed by trump--refuse to "tell the truth and nothing but the truth," and Republican Senators think its a game and mock the process by not holding witnesses accountable to their oath.

The end of the matter--will not bode well for any of us. When the enemy takes a civilization captive, they don't care what position they held in a free democracy, all become captives and subject to being treated the same. In fact, in most take-overs--in business or in countries--the current leadership is eliminated, immediately so the people won't be tempted to listen to them any longer.

Now is the time for people to wake from their slumber and open their eyes to see what is taking place right in front of them. Secret meetings to draft a healthcare care--by arrogant senators--will indeed be a death warrant for many, if passed. Rolling back regulations put into place for consumer protections now allow corporations to get rich and the poor to suffer when air and water are polluted--too toxic to drink and all need to wear masks to breathe or die from the inability to keep lungs functioning. But perhaps, it won't matter at all since changes to Dodd-Frank will allow banks to become predatory lenders and the poor and ignorant will buy into their schemes, leaving them penniless and destitute before long.

When people are hungry, homeless, and have no future--they accept the bread crumbs offered by the villain and pledge their loyalty to keep the bread crumbs coming, but they will never get enough to give them enough energy to rise and rebel. This is how tyranny works--fooling the people who are easily fooled and stomping down rebellion when the intelligent attempt to educate.

Look at the current budget that slashes educational funding because trump doesn't think anyone needs a college degree to make good money. He wants people stagnant and never growing beyond manufacturing jobs--laboring with their hands, leaving their brains to atrophy because he "loves the undereducated and ill-formed;" they are so much easier to manipulate and he has proven that with his base of supporters who believe he can do no wrong.

It won't be long before his base--some of the 26 million--who will lose their healthcare won't be with us for long. They'll still support him because their blind loyalty keeps them from reacting to reality; and instead they live in his delusional alternative reality--doomed.

We don't have to live in fear from others--because of their religion or skin-color--or ethnicity when we truly know how Jesus wants us to live. "Perfect love casts aside fear." So anyone who is touting fear or promoting it when there is no cause--check their love level--it's probably non-existent.

Americans need to think for themselves, after weighing the evidence of what is currently going on around them. Captivity is looming in the atmosphere if we don't rise up and fight back to protect our democracy. Every American needs to get out and vote--using the information at-hand and paying attention to those who have been elected--Republicans (at least the Tea Party Republicans) are not friends of the American people--they have a "secret" agenda to polarize the masses while they pick us off, one state at a time, leaving people totally destitute.

We need to clean house in Washington in coming elections--special and mid terms--and in 2020 elect a person who understands the challenges that face Everyday Americans, understands how government works and knows how to put qualified people in positions of authority who will not bow down to a mere human being, and will uphold their oaths of office with integrity and honor. If we vote our conscience and put country before party, we will sustain America's greatness for generations to come.

Is Solomon Speaking To Us Now?

Out in the open wisdom calls aloud; she raises her voice in the public square; on top of the wall she cries out, at the city gate she makes her speech: How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings, But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand, since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you--when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways, and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. Proverbs 1:20-33 NIV
The question--is Solomon speaking to us now, can be answered quite literally if we're honest about what we see on a daily basis.

The first chapter in Proverbs is dedicated to understanding the role of wisdom and what happens when we don't exercise wisdom. This segment--referenced above--puts us--all Believers in a position to see why America is in the shape it is in--and possibly the world.

Let me break this down a little further--when we--those who call themselves Christians--lie on God, we end up with the only possible consequence of our lying--God ignoring us and allows the calamities of our own rebellion to overtake us. God is not mocked nor deceived by lying tongues, but He will allow our lies to make fools of us. Though I have categorically denied that God chose trump to be president of the United States, I have to include myself in the throng of Believers--who didn't do enough to persuade others that God does not intervene in our choices. He allows us to make the choices and allows us to handle the consequences of our actions.

What I see in the constantly unfolding events in the political arena and the rise of hatred in the land is the result of wickedness and lies promoted by those who claim to know God. Let me say this again (and I'll probably say it often)--GOD IS PRO-CHOICE! He honors and choices and allows us to deal with the results--in every area of our lives--not just as it pertains to abortion, elections, marriage--but in everything.

When Christian Believers (the Evangelicals who lied) acknowledge that God allows us choices, then perhaps, they can also begin to repent and rescind the notion that trump was God's choice--unless they are totally blinded by hate and bigotry and want to see the chaos continue.

I'm no more perfect than any other, but I do accept my limitations and acknowledge them. I depend upon my relationship with God to do the right thing at all times, but when I stray, He won't pull me back unless I submit to His pull. That's how He operates--with our submission to Him. He does not coerce, bully or bribe us to do anything; nor does He belittle or humiliate us--we do that on our own when we refuse to hear Him and obey.

At all times--we must speak truth whether we agree with truth or not--because truth will set us free from all the stupidity we now see. Truth can and will come through various people--both Republicans and Democrats (Conservatives and Liberals), but we must be open to hearing it and acting upon it or we'll cease to exist as a nation since truth has surfaced, the Russian interference into our election and the erosion of our democracy was planned years ago. They deliberately established relationships with those who--out of their greed and need for power--were easily influenced and duped into doing their will--not God's.

All of this is easily discovered with a little time taken to research it, so there is no need for anyone to just take my word for it. Once research is undertaken and truth is known, what should we do with it?
I've known the truth all along and have my blogs to verify what I've been saying and now I implore all who know truth to assert themselves into the throng of existing chaos and confusion and promote truth--if we don't change direction soon, we will no longer be the United States of America--a sovereign nation, but under the command of the Russians.

Now, can we honestly answer the question, "Is God talking to us?" Yes, because He is and will continue to speak to us through His Word and through Holy Spirit, if we're willing to listen. If we don't listen, we have only ourselves to blame for the calamities that will overwhelm us. As a society of civilized people, we can no longer allow ideologies and emotions to rule us; we must develop critical thinking skills and know how to determine when sources are credible or not--facts and evidence matters. Any news source that promotes hatred of anyone for any reason--is not a credible source of information; it will be biased based upon the hatred they promote.

Therefore, I beseech every reader to reflect upon their relationship with God and know His truth and make all decisions pertaining to life and living upon that fact--proven through His Word.

In 2020, remember maintaining our democracy will depend upon all those who seek truth and promote it, rather than fuel ideological beliefs that have no foundation in truth according to God's Word. I'm counting on the wisdom of God to lead us all in turning away the whirlwind that will overtake us if we don't act. If we actively #resist the devil, and submit to God, we will know victory!

Let's Hear The Conclusion!

Now all has been heard, here is the conclusion of the matter; Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13,14 NIV
Amazing how for everything that happens under the sun, there is a biblical reference for which we can frame our thoughts.

Comey's Testimony--My perspective!

Yesterday, I watched James Comey's testimony with millions of Americans and other countries--after reading his statement because I wanted to hear what the former FBI director had to say.

After reiterating what had already been released, we get insight into Comey's thoughts and feelings at the time of each of the meetings he had with trump. Considering he was moved, out of "gut instinct" to document the meetings, his testimony "in my mind" proved that Comey was fired because he would not: pledge loyalty to trump or drop an investigation involving Michael Flynn.

Points of contention for some (not me): Why didn't Comey confront trump about the inappropriateness of meeting with him and his requests and Loretta Lynch wanting Comey to call the Clinton email incident--a "matter" instead of an investigation.

My take--trump's white house counsel should have briefed trump on what was appropriate or inappropriate. When Comey informed the AG the first time there was a problem, that would have been the AG's responsibility to speak to trump.

My Take-Aways--Comey told the truth and though he confirmed that he told trump he "was not" the target of an investigation--"while he was the FBI Director" he made it clear that trump is under investigation now--because of what he is doing--false accusations--not anyone else. trump attempted to gain a loyalty pledge from Comey and was not successful and then he attempted to influence Comey into dropping the investigation against Flynn.

Who--if anyone--is lying about the situation? Comey is considered by most to be man of integrity and honor. On the other hand, trump is known to be a pathological liar. Therefore, I conclude that trump is the liar and Comey is the victim in this situation.

The asides--Understanding Republicans would attempt to deflect the focus from trump's possible obstruction of justice, I was not surprised by the interjections of "but Hillary and her emails." Not surprised at all by that proclamation and knew without doubt that there would talking points created for the parrots to parrot. There were.

Today, trump's claim of "total and complete vindication" is both misinformed and ludicrous and further exacerbated by a bumbling, inept attorney who refused to acknowledge the simple fact of what was then to what is now. Kasowitz's further claim (I'm sure at the behest of trump) that Comey was a liar and a leaker is further confirmation of his ineptness. Enabling a person when they are clearly in the wrong is not helpful to anyone and in fact, will probably result in a greater gap of trust between the public and the WH.

Speaking of the WH--Sarah Huckabee Sander's proclamation that trump doesn't lie was so preposterous that I felt sorry for her.  Everyone knows trump lies because his lies are so easily fact-checked. He flip-flops on a matter from day to day, if not, hour to hour. It's a matter of "PUBLIC RECORD."

At any rate, trump claims he taped conversations with Comey that will prove Comey a liar. Okay, so let's hear them. Unless they have hired actors to create the tapes, once again, trump wrote a check his behind can't cash--there were no tapes or he would have produced them by now. It's like the proof he had that Obama had wiretapped him--non-existent. And now the claim that Comey is a leaker--is also false--because there was no "privileged communication" or "classified" information "given" to anyone. More lies from the WH.

My conclusion--trump is unfit--temperamentally and intellectually (if we believe Ryan who says, "he's new, he didn't know") to serve America in the position of the Oval Office. If he doesn't know what the job entails, he shouldn't be in the role. There are experts around him (hopefully) that should be advising him.

Yes, I get it some voters (not the majority) wanted someone other than a politician in the WH. They got what they wanted and it's become a nightmare for Americans.  Over 20 million Americans are about to lose their healthcare, consumer protection regulations have been rolled back so corporations can pollute the water and the air, a proposal has been put before Congress to privatize Air Traffic Control--endangering lives of those who fly, and now they're gutting the Dodd-Frank Act--allowing Wall Street to once again, put Americans in financial jeopardy.

They also got a rigidly conservative Supreme Court Justice who sides with corporations and ignores the rights of individuals, an Attorney General whose known bigoted past is now prevailing in our "so-called justice" system and who has his own problems with Russian Connections. Tax reform has resulted in massive cuts for the rich, not much for the poor and working class.

So, all those who support trump--hope you're happy--validating the premise that ignorance is bliss. While you continue to thrive in the alt reality framed by delusion, the rest of us--the True Patriots--will continue fighting for all Americans and their constitutional rights.

Watch for all the unfolding events that will change the landscape in America forever.

What Hides Behind Confusion?

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there is disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:9-18 NIV
What hides behind confusion? If we accept what The Word says, bitter envy and selfish ambition are the root causes of confusion and disorder. Does this explain the situation in the White House?

We know there is a pathological liar in the Oval Office--pretending to govern when he doesn't have a clue. We know that he suffers from multiple personality disorders and possibly dementia or Alzheimer's disease--in addition to the cognitive disconnect that has existed for some time. We know that he wants to be the center of attention at all times and will do anything to maintain the focus on him whether it is positive or negative. We know that he will bully and bribe to get his way. We know (at least some of us) that 2016 election results would not have happened if not for the Russian hacking, false propaganda, and complicity encouraged by him with other GOP. We know this and for those who don't--I suggest having some time alone with God and allowing Him to reveal truth.

The promotion of  false propaganda is continuing through various news outlets--Fox News, Breitbart and the Sinclair group and apparently it's working in its endeavor to brainwash those who watch them. Considering who owns these companies, it is not a stretch to understand their motives. They want to control what gullible Americans think and do and to promote a false narrative that blinds people to the truth--creating mass confusion for any who dare to think for themselves about what news sources to believe; especially since--the one in the Oval Office--keeps screaming "fake news" about anything that doesn't show him in a favorable light.

If the FBI probe about Russia and his involvement is a hoax--why make so much noise about it? Why try to get others to lie about it? Why fire an FBI director because of it? Why invite GOP members of Congress--who will serve on the panel to question the former director--to dinner two nights before the former director is scheduled to testify about conversations with him? Is this yet another attempt to obstruct the flow of truth by bribery or bullying--yet again?

Will we see integrity and honor return to Washington any time soon? For the GOP to proclaim to be the party of moral values, I haven't seen any evidence through their actions in a healthcare bill, their proposed budget, the actions of the Attorney General, rolling back consumer protection policies or much else. I have seen (as have others) all the evidence of a group of people trying to amass wealth at the expense of depriving the poor and needy access to assistance and living a healthy life.

I have more questions than answers pertaining to the status quo in Washington and that may continue to hover over my ability or anyone else's to ignite change in Washington that will benefit all. Not having the answers right now--won't keep me from seeking them and developing viable solutions for all Everyday Americans.

Is Our Entire Government Befuddled?

That fading flower, his glorious beauty, set on the head of a fertile valley, will be like figs ripe before harvest--as soon as people see them and take them in hand, they swallow them.  In that day, the Lord Almighty will be a glorious crown, a beautiful wreath for the remnant of his people. He will be a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate. And these also stagger from beer are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions. All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth. Isaiah 28:4-8 NIV
Reflecting upon what is happening in our country and lining it up with The Word, I can see how this passage may speak to the current events.  It would appear that our government--on every level--is befuddled with no one able to think clearly. It's as though they have been caught sipping the shake of stupidity and are now reeling with the results.

Under normal circumstances--had there been any effort to interfere with an election as broad as the spectrum is with trump--they would have been ousted from any position of authority. But no, our GOP congress has decided to "normalize" the behavior and give him passes to thwart ethics policies by giving people waivers, by not insisting he divulge his taxes, or divesting himself from his business interests, and ignoring the blatant nepotism that exist in giving his daughter and son-in-law access to nation's secrets.

And now, he's promoting his wife's business venture on the White House website. Is there any end to this atrocity? Is everyone on Capitol Hill befuddled beyond recovery to see that this idiot is taking America for a ride for which there may be no return?

We know--Russia was involved with interfering with the 2016 election; we know trump benefitted from that involvement; we know trump owes Russia tons of money; we know trump is not a true Patriot, he's only in the Oval Office to see how much he can get out of it for himself and his millionaire donors. There is no denying this and all a person has to do is to open their eyes and see.

So, why is Congress not acting upon what they have to see? There is only one viable answer and it is not that they're giving him a chance to become presidential. It is much more sinister than that. They are profiting from the chaos by passing bills and getting the idiot to sign them when they know he won't read them. They are profiting by having the power to seemingly get away with murder--literally with their healthcare bill--all in an effort to snub their noses or rather give Obama the finger. There are no adults functioning in the GOP congress--they all act like immature, bullies--determined to make fools of themselves in their quest to defend the indefensible idiotic behavior coming out of the White House. They are drunk with power and fear of being caught with their own ties to Russia being revealed--befuddled--unable to think clearly because they have forgotten that country takes precedence over party.

But this too, can and shall change in the coming months. Since they refuse to stop sipping the shake of stupidity, voters who are not are planning a return to sanity--without the chaos and confusion running rampant by changing the entire landscape of DC from red to blue. Watch for it--people will clearly put country before party and proceed--thinking clearly, no more befuddlement.

I'm one of the many anticipating change by running for something--president of the United States and I'm not drunk on power nor hate-driven, nor frustrated to the point of not thinking clearly. I want this country to maintain its status as a world leader and we can only do that with a world-class leader. It's time we get back to business and shake off the spirit of stupid and move this country forward.

Deliver Us From Ignorance!

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.  I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls. Joel 2:28-32 NIV
I don't know about you, but I'm calling on the name the Lord, daily--to deliver us from the ignorance oozing and spreading from the White House and all those who speak on behalf of the toddler-in-chief.

I guess, I may have to just stop listening to the stupidity that his enablers expect people to believe.
Don't know who his enablers are? Let me see if I make this brief--everyone speaking on his behalf, trying to explain the most recent stupidity. I guess they all signed loyalty pledges and are afraid to speak truth.  We should all ask them why they risk their own credibility trying to defend the indefensible.

Jeffrey Lord, Paris Dennard, Kayleigh McEnany, Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee, Darrell Scott, Jason Miller, Jack Kingston, and only God knows who else is lying on behalf of donald.  They need to simply admit he has limited comprehension skills, is a pathological liar, and suffers from a cognitive disability. It's just that simple!

Of course, his supporters have long since sold their souls to the devil out of hate-driven agenda to elect him and defend him. I've never seen such ignorance in my life and it is appalling because they are committed to the idiot-in-chief.

Okay, I'm not perfect, but I'm not an idiot either. I know and own my limitations and don't try to confuse or conflate facts with nonsense and twitter rants.

Now, that I've got that off my chest, everyone needs to take a serious look at where our country is headed and put aside political angst or even bigotry long enough to see what this idiocy is doing our reputation in the world. Can't speak for everyone, but I care! I'm guessing all who do care are the real Patriots, not those just running their mouths.

Some things just never change and some people are just to set in their ways to wake up and smell the stench that is polluting the air around us. Incompetence in the White House is never a good idea and we see where that leads--more confusion and chaos--seemingly planned or plotted to redirect focus from upcoming testimonies. Those of us who know where the stench originates are not going to be misled. Our focus is on the truth--however it comes to the forefront.

Just remember, we can always change the landscape by voting blue in special elections and in Mid Terms 2018. I'll wait my turn in 2020. Just saying!

Considering the run so Everyday Americans will be well-represented from the White House! Deliverance from ignorance is on the way!

Nothing To Fear With Him!

The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23
For those who do not know this Psalm, I encourage you to read, mediate upon it and carry it in your heart throughout your days.

For those do who do know this Psalm--encourage those around you to remain steadfast, moving forward in all God has planned for them, never fearing the enemy.

This is not to make light of all the tragedies around the globe, more specifically the events that have rocked England lately. No matter what we do--as a people--either individually or collectively, unless we're mind readers we can never know what another is going to do--especially those driven by hate. We can know--we must live our lives to the utmost, doing what we can for those in need of help and support, and defying the expectations of the enemy which are to keep us afraid and impotent.

We have lost--if the news is reported correctly--a tenable candidate for Iowa because of death threats by the opposition. I cannot begin to understand her feelings right now, but I'm praying that she'll overcome them, seek protection from law enforcement and rise up and win. If she doesn't fight back, the strategy will be employed by others in order to keep people from opposing them in what is supposed to be a "free and fair election" process.

For that reason, I have to applaud Congresswoman Maxine Waters who refuses to be intimidated by hate and evildoers. She knows the risks and refuses to back down and I'm also praying for her safety and success in accomplishing her mission.

When we know that we are doing what is right, for all the right reasons, we should not be fearful of the evil ones for we are protected by God's goodness and love. If we show fear--as with dogs who smell fear--the enemy will attack and defeat.

I've said before I don't have enough sense to be afraid of anyone--no matter how big or ugly or how much money they have or the platforms they use to discredit--I will move forward in seeking opportunity to represent Everyday Americans in 2020--and if the opposition wants to start their research now--go for it. I've made it easy for them.  Anything they want to know about me can be found online--in a book or in a blog. I have nothing to hide and wouldn't even if I did. My life is an open-book and I'm just getting started writing the next chapter.

With God going before me, I have nothing to fear--no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and if it is the purpose of God for my life to be the next president of the United States, I shall be. Attempts to try and intimidate me have always made me stronger and more determined than ever to fight harder. We shall see--how The Lord perpetuates victory in every area of our lives.

Get ready for it--a time for real change that matters to real people--is coming soon!

Praying For Safety!

Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race, Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts. May the Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue--those who say, "By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us--who is lord over us?" "Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan I will now rise," says the Lord. "I will protect them from those who malign them." And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race. Psalm 12 NIV
For all who are participating in the March For Truth and other events around the world--demanding truth, equality and justice for all, I'm praying for your safety. God is with us and He smiles upon all who are fighting to defend the rights of the poor and vulnerable. Unfortunately for those of us in America, with trump in the White House--we are all vulnerable--since he has proven he has no ability for critical thinking or compassion on those who are less fortunate (financially--for he is morally depleted) than he is.

Father in the name of Jesus,

We know You are the same God--yesterday, today and forever. Whatever You did in the past to protect those who valiantly fought for justice and equality in the past, You will continue to do today and in the future. Encourage hearts in the face of evil and remind those marching You are going before them and no weapon lodged against them shall prosper. Strengthen their bodies and renew energy and determination to keep moving forward in Your strength, never wavering or being enticed by evil. Peace be upon everyone who knows The Lord and how to conduct themselves decently and in order. Thank You for hearing and answering prayer, to Your glory. Amen!

Remember the battle is not ours--it is the Lord's and He shall conquer and we will be victorious in all we do that honors Him.

Be blessed and stay safe. Never allow the provocation of evil to determine your path; laugh in its face and keep it moving.

Looking forward to hearing the excerpts of victory resulting from this day and all those to come until we rid ourselves of the menace in the White House.

While you're marching, think about the kind of "real change" we need to see in Washington and remember 2020 election is coming.

Now What?

Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory because of your love and faithfulness. Why do the nations say, "Where is their God?" Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him, but their idols are silver and gold, made by human hands. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. They have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell. They have hands, but cannot feel, feet but cannot walk, nor can they utter a sound with their throats. Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them. Psalm 115: 1-8 NIV
Those who praise people more than God and give people greater esteem than they do God, are idolizing the creation, rather than the Creator.

I'm reminded of trump in this passage--he has a mouth that never speaks truth, eyes that cannot see reality through his delusional alternative universe, ears that block out sound, wise advice; he has feet but cannot walk the path of integrity because of his crooked ways, and he utters sounds that are incomprehensible and astounds the world at his mental incompetence and ineptness.

We are in the throes of the beginning of a national crisis because we have allowed an idiot--that very foolish, stupid person--to make decisions for all when they do not have the mental capacity or expertise to do so. He relies upon those who hate and promote false news and lies to give him advice--though he claims to work for the people who voted for him. Here's the problem--the people who voted for him were only a fraction of the total population and some of them are now seeing the error of their vote.

But trump is really not the problem right now--unless we allow him to continue to be one. The real problem is the complacent and impotent GOP Congress. They have a job to do--upholding their oath of office and they are negligent in doing their job. Pressure has to be brought upon them to honor their oaths of office over any pledges of loyalty to a person. Patriotism does not mean standing by a president; it means doing all one can to preserve the nation--placing priority to country over political party. They need to be reminded over and over again, until they do their job. 202-224-3121 is the Congressional Switchboard number--start calling now.

If they fail to do their job, we can rest assured of continued destruction and erosion of what we once understood a democracy to be. Putin gets his wish and takes over America without firing a shot--all because of an idiot who allowed himself to be put in a position where others have leverage over him. And the collusion--is real and dangerous since it involves the exposure of all in the GOP who have been complicit in the disastrous 2016 election results. They knew then and know now, the price of winning a rigged election will cost them their political careers. They have been duped, willingly.

What do we do now? We call, we email, we fax, we tweet until we get tired, then we rest and start all over--letting Congress know what we think of them and how they should do their jobs. I'm planning to contact at least 20 a day--by one means or another until they take notice and rethink their positions which are all on the line. The other 261 million people will vote for integrity in 2018 and in 2020--removing them from their positions.

I, among many others, will be seeking the opportunity to truly serve all Americans and I know--if Everyday Americans are fed up with the nonsense we see on a daily basis, they will appreciate having someone who understands the challenges they face, making decisions in the White House for all Americans.  Only time will tell if Americans will wake from their daze and see truth and love as a means to accomplish greatness rather than lies and hate. It is up to us, all Americans who care about this planet, to rise and change the narrative so we'll have a bright future.

Do Good Anyway!

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."  Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.. But in your hearts revere Christ as lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. I Peter 3:8-16 NIV
To The Resistance:  Stay strong and don't fall to the level of the evil ones. We're smarter than that. We don't have to use the foul language the "other side" uses, we don't have to humiliate others when they attempt to belittle us, but we must tell the truth at all cost. And if a person acts like an idiot, we must say so (I don't know of any polite synonyms for this word). No matter what they say or do--do good anyway!

It is truly sad that we have come to this place in America where we have to face the fact that those 62+ million people created this fiasco we're experiencing. They did it because of frustration and hatred--acting on pure emotion--without logic or intellect or any justifiable rationale.

I've talked about this before so I won't belabor the point. People please, stop allowing your emotions to dictate your decisions--especially those you can't just go back and change. When in turmoil because of stirred emotions and upheavals in your life, save the important decision-making for another time when either you or your surroundings have calmed.

I know a thing or two about letting emotions drive decisions. I've been there. And I don't plan to make the same mistakes--over and over again. At some point--we all (including me) need to take a step back and think before we act. And we must think about how every decision we make, impacts our lives and the lives of others for more than the moment it might take to make the decision.

The 2016 election is a perfect case in point--raw emotions--fueled by the frustrations felt of those who felt neglected and by those who feel they are the superior race and are afraid they're going to become extinct--pushing hate-filled rhetoric and lies brought us to this place. No matter how much they demonstrate hate, I'm going to promote love--and do good anyway.

There is a solution for every problem and His name is Jesus. When we allow Him to guide our every thought and action, we can avoid some of the travesties we face in life. We do not have to trade insult for insult for those who regret their vote, but can't do anything about it. We do not have to resort to name-calling, just because they do it.  When I call someone an idiot--it is because they have demonstrated a lack of understanding about a situation and refuse to heed sound, wise advice. By definition--according to a dictionary--an idiot is a very foolish or stupid person. Therefore, if I speak truth, I'm not name-calling.  And I can speak truth, gently--in love--doing good anyway.

At any rate, I've spent enough time of talking about the WH idiot for today. I'm continuing plans to run for President in 2020 and I can guarantee people, there won't be an idiot in the WH if I win. I'm wise enough to know what I don't know and wise enough to seek the assistance and advice of those who do.
