30 Days of Prayer and Praise--20!

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Psalm 1 NIV
Day Twenty

Lord Jesus,

You know our hearts and our thoughts before we think them. We stand ready for correction and renewing of our spirits by You for anything that is not of You. Lord, we take nothing for granted and will always seek You early--while You may be found--for wisdom and direction in all things so our living for You is not in vain.

We know that You know the wicked from the righteous and we entreat You to keep the righteous covered--from all the destructive devices the enemy uses in opposition of You.

We thank You for our faith that will not waver under the attack of naysayers and those who plot to do evil. We thank You for Your Word--we use as both a shield and sword against the attacks of the wicked. We thank You for the courage and strength and determination to keep our feet moving--doing good and not evil. We are grateful for Your love and wisdom and direction and our hope remains in You, not man or woman.

And even as the wicked--continue to plot the downfall of those who love You--we continue to praise You for Your goodness and mercy that will follow us all the days of our lives. We continue to lift our hands and our voices--magnifying You, O God--for all You will accomplish in the earth through those who love You and obey Your Word. We continue to stand up and speak out against injustice and wrongdoing against those who have no voice and are ignored.

We thank You for victory in every area of our lives and that You will allow us to see the humiliation of all who are evil and plot evil against those who love You.

In Jesus' name we pray and thank You, Amen

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--19!

LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint; heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony. My soul is in deep anguish. How long, LORD, how long? Turn, LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. Among the dead no one proclaims your name. Who praises you from the grave? I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes. Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping. The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish; they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame. Psalm 6 NIV
Day Nineteen

Lord,

Thank You for Your love, mercy, and kindness. Thank You for Your compassionate that overwhelms those who love You. Thank You for delivering us from the evil plots that harbor in the hearts of those who don't know You. Thank You for giving us strength and boldness and courage to keep moving forward--standing up and speaking out--against injustice wherever we find it. Thank You for healing our bodies of every sickness and disease and creating mental stability within us all the days of our lives. Thank You for seeing us for who we are--in You--and loving us enough to keep us encouraged to do all things according to Your Word.

Lord, while we yet have breath in our bodies, we'll praise You daily for we know that You can make the rocks cry out. We don't want rocks to out-praise us--so we lift our hands and our hearts to You, acknowledging You for who You are--Wonderful Savior, The Guiding Light in darkness, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords; You are an Awesome God, worthy of our praise, glory, and honor. It is to You--we sing and voice our love for Your enduring love and mercies that are new every morning. You indeed are the joy of our lives and no one can compare!

In Jesus' name we praise and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--18!

LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  Psalm 8 NIV
Day Eighteen

Lord,

You continue to watch over Your children, You continue to pour into us wisdom from on high and we will continue to give You praise for all You do for those who love You! We recognize that there is no other name on earth, by which man can be saved other than the name of Jesus!  There is no one like You!

In Jesus' name, we praise You! Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--17!

In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: “Flee like a bird to your mountain. For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. Psalm 11 NIV
Day Seventeen

Lord Jesus,

We are so thankful for Your love, wisdom, mercy and goodness that will surely follow us all the days of our lives. We thank You for allowing us to see through the schemes and wiles of the enemy so we know how to prepare for the wickedness. Our hope is You and You alone and we patiently wait to hear Your voice speak to our hearts in the midst of the chaos and confusion that surround so many.

Lord, we know You know the thoughts of the righteous as well as the wicked. We ask that all thoughts of evil plotted against the righteous be turned back to them so they know the fullness of the Hamanesque Effect. And let not the righteous think we can escape the folly of our own actions, but in all things--we seek Your direction in what we do--not by digging ditches into which we may fall, but armed with truth, marching forward with boldness and courage--sharing truth with all who will receive.

In spite of the naysayers, the hatermongers, and the doubters--continue to strengthen us in our resolve to see wrong righted and the crooked straightened to the benefit of all who love You and will obey Your Word.

Lord, remove the blinders from those who refuse to see truth about the real enemy of this land, and unstop their ears so they can hear truth and then anoint their tongues to speak truth and not lies and their feet to spread love and not hate.

Create in us O God, a heart and desire to please You on a daily basis and when true victory is won in this current battle, we will rejoice and praise You so the world will know--You are Lord and the only One worthy of our praise. Hallelujah!

In Jesus' name we pray and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--16!

Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts. May the LORD silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—those who say, “By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”“Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will protect them from those who malign them.” And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race. Psalm 12 NIV
Day 16

Lord,

You see the chaos and the hostility displayed among the nations and You know that peace is not possible without love and genuine compassion for others. Help us O Lord, to see us how You see us in moments of uncertainty, doubt and crisis. Create in us a desire to change--for the better--so all will know we belong to You.

Until the day we return to You, keep our minds stabilized and focused on all You would have us to do. Give us strength and courage to do what must be done in trying times in order to protect the rights of the poor and the needy.

Lord, we declare victory in every area of our lives--and that You and You alone are worthy of our praise. We give You glory and honor because it all belongs to You, not a man or a woman, but to You, O God.

As we continue to move forward--with our feet firmly planted on the path You have determined for us, and our hearts rooted and grounded in Your Word--we receive the continued wisdom You pour into us that we might know how to approach every situation and have an answer for all who question our love for You.

Lord, we thank You for choosing all who love You who will do what You speak to our hearts to do for the benefit of all mankind.

In Jesus' name, we ask and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--15!

Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” I say of the holy people who are in the land, “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.” Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips. LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.  I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16 NIV
Day Fifteen

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for being in the midst of our trials, challenges and victories. You alone are the refuge we seek, the comforter of our hearts and minds when things attempt to get the best of us. You alone, O God, are the only One to whom we can turn for wisdom and understanding of all the events that unfold before us.

Comfort hearts of those who are mourning loved ones all over the world and give them peace of mind. Embrace them as only You can in the spirit and send others to remind them of Your Love. Create in all a receptive heart to hear a word of encouragement, and understanding. Give us compassion for all those who are hurting and lost--not knowing which way to turn, but allowing us to see beyond the moment and even the day, to hope for the joy of Lord to renew us and keep us moving forward.

Lord, we know there are things that happen we will never understand, but our hope and trust is in You for we know You know all things and have determined the outcome of all situations before they even happen. We trust You to know what is best for all and yet we  know that You will not force us to do anything beyond our will, but with our choices, we must accept the consequences of our actions.

Look upon the hearts of all who have failed to acknowledge You and have even encouraged others that Your existence is but a figment of imagination spawned in the hearts of those who "they say are ignorant." Create a situation in the lives of all who scorn and disbelieve so they will know that You are not a figment of anyone's imagination, but You are the creator of all that was ever created and without You, nothing was created. Prepare that Damascus Road experience for them so they will not be lost, but will be able to enter into Your rest at the end of time.

In the midst of the trials--we lift our hearts, our hands, and head to see You in Your all Your glory and give You praise. Glory to Your Name of O God, and may all who have life and blood running through their bodies--declare Your righteousness, mercy and goodness and receive from You--the love You pour out upon all--without constraint--without consideration of ethnicity, gender or skin tone or religious beliefs.

In Jesus' name, we pray and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--14!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters. Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty— he is the King of glory. Psalm 24 NIV
Day Fourteen

Lord, Our Lord,

Thank You for allowing us to see another day, to have another opportunity to celebrate Your arrival in the earth, clothed in flesh like man, but always God.

Thank You for looking upon this land and all of Your people--those who call upon You in times of need and praise You no matter what.

Thank You for loving us enough to be willing to join our fate in the earth, being tempted by sin on every side and yet, not caving; being ridiculed and persecuted and yet, not hating; being scorned, beaten and crucified, and yet--ever forgiving those in their ignorance who sullied Your reputation and good works.

God of heaven and earth, our heavenly Father, we praise You for the mercy and grace You keep showering upon us. We praise You for loving us enough to see beyond our faults and taking care of our needs, and keeping us focused upon You.

Help us this day, O God, to become more like You--seeing beyond the surface of skin color and differences in religious affiliation--to just seeing You and conducting ourselves as You do--without constraints--loving one another.

Who is the King of Glory? The Lord--mighty in battle, gentle in spirit, compassionate and loving, merciful in all His ways, and forgiving--of all who repent when they understand wrongdoing and wrong living, according to His Word.

Who is the King of Glory? The Lord--who chose to come into this world as a baby--experiencing life as all humans do, navigating childhood into adulthood, understanding all we must experience and yet not once failing to observe all His Father in Heaven commanded Him to do.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your love and willingness to sacrifice self for all who willingly come to You, receive Your love and accept You as Lord and Savior of their lives.

We give You praise, glory and honor for there is none like You; no one who deserves our unconditional love other than You for You first loved us and then loved us enough to die for us! Hallelujah to the King of Glory! Ride on King Jesus!

For all You have done, are doing and will do in our lives--we thank You and praise You. In Jesus' name, Amen!

ENJOY THIS DAY CELEBRATING WITH LOVED ONES AND REMEMBER THOSE WHO ARE ALONE--CARE ENOUGH TO SHOW THEM SOME LOVE!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--13!

When the Ziphites had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by your name; vindicate me by your might. Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth. Arrogant foes are attacking me; ruthless people are trying to kill me— people without regard for God. Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. Let evil recoil on those who slander me; in your faithfulness destroy them. I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name, LORD, for it is good. You have delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes. Psalm 54 NIV
Day Thirteen

You, O Lord, are the lifter of our heads, the bright and morning star.

Listen to our hearts and know our thoughts about every situation and save us from the enemy of arrogance and narcissism, from those who are mentally unstable in positions of authority, and are driven by greed and corruption.

Give us direction and continual hope to stay focused on You and Your in the midst of all the mindlessness that surrounds and threatens the peace of nations.

For every heart that desires to hear You, speak to them and pour out wisdom from on high, so those in authority will govern righteously, not out of pettiness and vengefulness.

Lord, we know that nothing happens in our lives that You did not already know about and we know that in the end, we will be victorious with You going ahead of us in battle.

Strengthen our resolve to stay bold and courageous, fighting injustice on all fronts, standing up and speaking up for the poor and the needy who feel they have no voice. For every person who reveals their hatred and bigotry and racism, help us to stand firm as a beacon of hope and light, dispelling  the darkness that abides in their hearts.

Even when it seems like all is lost--remind us of Your love and mercy and grace--that accompany us everywhere we go.

Lord, we thank You for covering us with Your precious blood--keeping all the evil at bay the enemy has plotted against us and for every dart levied our way, return it to those who throw them with more power than they had.

You alone continue to be worthy of all the praise and glory. You alone are the strength we need when we feel weak. You alone, O God, are savior to all who will receive You as such and You are alone--know the end from the beginning of all we see or can predict.

Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers and responding to needs of all who love You. In Jesus' name we pray and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--12!

Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. I cry out to God Most High, to God, who vindicates me. He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me--God sends forth his love and his faithfulness. I am in the midst of lions; I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts— men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. They spread a net for my feet— I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path— but they have fallen into it themselves. My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. Psalm 57 NIV
Day Twelve

Lord Jesus,

We know You see how those who love You are treated and vilified; how liars spread falsehoods and engage in activities designed to bring us to a place of disaster. But we know, how much You love us and how much You care for all who love You. We thank You for Your faithfulness towards and continued mercy and grace.

Lord, look upon all those who dare to plot against Your children and deliver unto them the same fate they plot against us.

For every foul deed they plot--have it turn again unto them. For every lie they tell to make themselves seem more than they are--expose the lie with truth for all to see.

For every trap they lay--let them be caught in the traps of their making.

For every pit they dig--let them fall into them and suffer whatever plight they planned for others.

For every lie they tell--send ten messengers of truth to expose their lies.

For every deception they plot to fool others--let them fall into the peril of being deceived more mightily than they planned.

For everything they plan to steal to enrich themselves--let it be stolen from them one hundred times more.

Lord, for everyone who plans to do what is right--let their good deeds be known to all and their reward be great.

For everyone who gives out of the capacity of their heart to those who are in need, let their giving be returned unto them one hundredfold.

For everyone who loves--unconditionally--everyone they meet--let the love they share with others be returned without measure so they will continue to love.

For those who encourage hope--to keep others moving forward and never in despair--keep the flame of hope ignited and never let it die within them.

For those who are feeling unloved and discouraged--send to them one who knows You and Your love and is willing to share Your love with others.

For those who are without shelter--guide them to safety and keep them covered, embraced by love and a shelter without fear of being robbed or abused.

Lord, You are the greatest gift we could ever be given--our salvation, our hope, our light in the midst of darkness, our strength to keep moving forward--sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You, O Lord, are an awesome God! There is truly none like You and No One who will do the things You do for those You love. Our precious is Your love to all who seek to be loved and wide Your arms to gather, embrace and hold onto each of us--keeping us safe from harm.

Look upon this land and into the hearts of all and do justice according to Your mercy as only You can. In Jesus' name we pray and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--11!

With stringed instruments. Of David. Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. For you, God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. Increase the days of the king’s life, his years for many generations. May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him. Then I will ever sing in praise of your name and fulfill my vows day after day. Psalm 61 NIV
Day Eleven

O Lord, Our God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Hear our prayers when we cry out to You and answer according to Your enduring mercy and grace.

Thank You for keeping us throughout the night and for keeping us focused on You to thwart the plans and plots of the enemy. For we know Lord, that everyone is not Your Child and lives according to Your Word, is an enemy to Your Will.

Lord, we thank You that we are not greedy and corrupt, liars and thieves, manipulators and deceptively cloaked wolves in sheep's clothing. We thank You that You will not allow us engage in perverseness, deluding ourselves with illusions of grandeur or wisdom we do not possess!

Lord, we thank You for reminding us that You are the immovable Rock on which our faith resides, no matter what the enemy does to distort truth to fictionalize who You are and what You mean to those who love You.

Because of You, O Lord, the Lifter of our heads, we can lift our voices and sing praises to You no matter what happens around us. We know that in the end, only what we do for Christ will have any lasting, enduring affect in our lives and in the lives of others.

Because of You, we can look the enemy in the face and dare to tell the truth, no matter what threats are levied against us or the insults from those the enemy is using mightily.

Because of the Love that overflows our hearts, we can love even the unlovable, but we are wise enough to know when to turn our backs on those who refuse to acknowledge truth when it is put before them. Lord, for we know, it is not our job to force anyone to do anything against their will, but You hold us accountable for speaking truth whether people accept it or not.

In the days and months to come, Lord, we look to You--the author and finisher of our faith--to keep our angels alert and watchful, always alerting us a clear and present danger--from those who are evil and sit in high places--thinking they are above the laws of the land and above reproach by You.

There is none like You, O Lord, who can protect us from the evil plots in the hearts of evil men and women. We thank You for searing their hearts with the truth of Your Word and searing their consciences with flickers of fire from hell which will be there eternal resting place, if they ignore You.

Look into our hearts O, Lord, and cleanse us from anything or thoughts that are not from You. Continue to bless us with wisdom from on high and a determination to walk in this life according to Your Word, no matter what others may do.

We thank You for hearing and answering our prayers--responding as only You can--so we may live in peace all the days of our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--10!

Day Ten

O Lord,

If the meadows and valleys can shout for joy and sing, surely Your children, those You have chosen as messengers and Watchmen can do no less.

You are the God of our salvation and we have no need to fear what the enemy might do, for You have prepared us in more ways than one to stand firm on Your Word and never waver, never doubt Your faithfulness towards us and to always walk embraced by love and mercy.

As the days unfold, one by one and we see the events revealed that demonstrate the lack of love for You and our brothers and sisters, we can still look to You--our hope and our help--for with You all things are possible and we will know victory in every area of our lives.

For those who are discouraged--encourage their hearts, Lord by speaking to them and reminding them how much loved they are. Give them a desire to keep going and to allow the love of Holy Spirit to flow through their bodies and into their minds, giving them courage and boldness to speak up and stand up for righteousness and to fight against the evil that attempts to overtake us.

Lord, remind those who think they are superior to other human beings that You created one man, one woman and commanded them to multiply and cover the face of the earth as one human race. Though our tongues speak many languages and our skin tones are many hues, we are yet one--one race, one blood, one of Your Children for whom You have prepared a place for us in heaven.

Lord, catheterize every heart and drain all hate from it replacing every void with love, peace, mercy and kindness, with joy overflowing into the lives of all who are around us.

Thank You for granting us an opportunity to spend time with You--allowing You to nurture our souls and replenish our hope and joy as events of the day attempt to drain us. Thank You for loving us enough to use us for good and not evil. Thank You for molding and shaping us to be more like You every morning we rise.

Because of You, O Lord, we can hold our heads high, knowing who we are and what we have in You. Because of You, we can sing out loud our praise for You and never fear what others may think or say. Because of You, we can move forward--desiring nothing more than to see peace and love overflow in the earth so all may come to know You and be glad about it.

Thank You, Lord for one more day to give You praise and to see the marvelous works we know will result in our obedience to You. In Jesus' name we pray and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--9!

Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy. Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers. They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows. They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear. They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, “Who will see it?” They plot injustice and say, “We have devised a perfect plan!” Surely the human mind and heart are cunning. But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down. He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn. All people will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done. The righteous will rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will glory in him! Psalm 64 NIV
Day Nine

Lord,

We thank You for seeing all the evil that is planned against us--the spitefulness, the intention of destroying a nation and all those who love You. We thank You for allowing all who plot evil to be destroyed before the world so all may see that it does not profit anyone to stand against Your children.

Encourage hearts today, O God--those who feel weakened and hopeless by events that are out of our control, but will change in an instant at Your bidding. Stiffen spines and resolve to stay in the battle until victory is won and all will know, we are Your children and we will not cave as some already have.

For we know, through study and understanding of Your Word, that all good and perfect gifts come from You and nothing the enemy has planned for us or against shall ever prosper. No weapon--not doubt, not scorn, not rude behavior, not name-calling, nothing shall keep us from obeying You and waiting for the victory we know is ours in You.

Thank You for always being with us--never abandoning us or leaving us alone--directing our footsteps on the paths You have forged for us--paths of honor and integrity, unity and wholeness, love and respect--for all who love You.

Keep us mindful O God that we are not in the battle against flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness in high places and that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through You in pulling down strongholds.

Blessed is the name of The Lord and blessed it is to belong to Him! We know that mercy and goodness will follow us all the days of our lives and we shall open our mouths and sing songs--rejoicing in Your love and protection--never allowing the enemy a foothold in the territory of our hearts.

For the mighty acts of deliverance and joy in You, we thank You and give You praise.

All this we ask and thank You for in Jesus' name, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--8!

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.Psalm 100 NIV
Day Eight

O Lord,

How excellent is Your name in all the earth! How wonderful it is to know You and how You love us. How precious is the gift of salvation to all who understand the sacrifice of love You gave to all who will believe!

We magnify Your name this day O Lord, for what You are doing in the hearts of those who love You, for those who are determined to do what is right for all people.

Lord, we love You because You first loved us and desire for all to have every good and perfect gift from You. We give You praise because there is none like You, no one who can satisfy us like You do, no one who cares about us the way You do, no one who is willing to forgive our shortcomings and keep loving us, giving us chance after chance to get things right before You. All the honor, all the glory, we give to You!

Now, Lord--we thank You for speaking to hearts, giving us wisdom and direction in all things so in all things we know You are with us and will never abandon us. We thank You for all who are hearing You speak, ready to receive a Word from You and willing to do what is right no matter what others may think. For we know it is better for us to obey You rather than man; it is better for us to commit to Your Word, rather than the laws of man.

Lord, we thank You for strengthening us with Your joy, for giving us boldness in the face in the enemy, courage to stay in the battle no matter how things look for we know--with You going before us--we are victorious in all things--for the battle is not ours, but Yours.

Thank You O Lord, for finding us worthy to be Your spokesmen, Your Watchmen, Your Messengers of love and hope, and giving us the right thing to say to all to keep them encouraged and looking to You--our comforter when distressed, our joy when sadness tries to seep into our souls, our help in time of need, our light when darkness falls upon the earth--You are everything we need and we thank You for Your love that never ends and Your faithfulness that endures for all generations!

Lord, we thank You for knowing that in Your infinite Wisdom, You created one human race, infused us all with red blood, and give us all the same choices--to receive love and love, to be thankful for Your mercy and grace, to be obedient to You in all things and live a life that speaks a loud message about who You are in our lives.

For all You are yet doing, yet speaking to the hearts of all, we thank You and praise You with our whole hearts. In Jesus' name, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--7!

Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD who minister by night in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD. May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 134 NIV
Day Seven

Lord,

As You look upon us today and see our challenges, encourage our hearts O Lord, to keep looking to You, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

As we look to You for direction, feed us O Lord with wisdom from on high--wisdom only You can give and only those filled with Holy Spirit can discern and share with others.

Lord, we are Your children and we know You only give good gifts as any loving Father would do. When Your children are starving, You will not give us stones. When Your children are lost, You will not lead them down paths of destruction. When Your children desire wisdom, You will not give them foolishness. When Your children desire truth, You will not give them lies for we know how much You hate a liar.

Lord, we know and recognize all the attributes You have and when they are present in those who claim to love You.

You, O Lord are as transparent as clear glass and there is nothing hidden about You unless people have chosen to live in darkness and never acknowledge who You are.

You, O Lord are light that dispels the darkness and brings every hidden thing into the light for all to see.

You, O Lord are love and do nothing out of hatred and neither will You encourage Your children to hate.

You, O Lord are the God of peace, not chaos; stability and not unrest; unity and not divisiveness and those who love You, demonstrate who You are in like manner.

You, O Lord are our banner of strength and courage and You give us boldness to keep marching forward, doing all You put on our hearts to do no matter what the enemy does.

You, O Lord are the gift that keeps giving and never allows any of Your children to suffer from lack.

You, O Lord know our thoughts before we ever think them and You speak to our hearts to keep us on the path of righteousness.

You, O Lord have quickened our spirits to always stay in the battle--defending the rights of the poor and needy when they have no voice or strength to fight on their own.

You, O Lord remind us daily that You and You alone are God, You are the only One who has heaven and hell--prepared for those who obey or disobey.

You, O Lord have given us right examples in what our attitude should be in all situations, as Peter and other apostles realized in the face of certain death, "We must obey God rather than human beings." (Acts 5:29 NIV)

Lord, we pray that everyone who has a heart for You, will remember that obedience to You is better than sacrifice and whatever You have promised when we obey, will be ours.

Lord, we thank You for searing the hearts of all who would attempt to deter and manipulate others from hearing You, out of greed for riches, status, and power. Show them their end if they refuse to hear You.

Lord, we thank You for giving most of us--an ear and heart to hear--both naturally and spiritually--all You are saying and for giving us a mind to please You and no one else.

For all You have done, are doing and will do in the lives of those who love You and obey, we give You praise and glory for You are the only one worthy of it.

Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers this day and always. In Jesus' name, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--6!

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. Psalm 133 NIV
Day Six

Lord God our Father,

As we come before You again, with great expectation because of Your love for us, we thank You for giving us a mind to see our world as You desire it to be. That we are--one--in You--one race, one blood, united by our faith in You. Though You have poured into each of us--various gifts--both natural and spiritual--we have but one purpose and that is to please You--united by Love for You are Love!

Thank You for speaking to hearts and the message absorbed in our hearts, navigating to our minds and expressing itself in all we say and do in honor of You.

We thank You for giving us discernment--understanding the difference between just and unjust laws; between righteousness and unrighteousness, between morality and legality, and between love and hate.

We thank You for providing for every person that loves and honors You in the beauty of holiness and in the glory of Your Truth.

We thank You for ordering our steps in Your Word, releasing us from the dictates of man's laws to follow You and You alone--for who on earth has heaven or hell for us?

We thank You for righting all wrongs by whatever method You deem necessary and for allowing us to be used by You in all that we do to encourage the hearts of many who are fearful and discouraged.
Lord, grant all who are willing to hear You respond in obedience to all You speak to them in order to preserve their faith in You and love for all.

We thank You for giving us hearts of compassion and desire to serve others as a means of promoting Your love.

We thank You for pouring Your wisdom into willing vessels who will acknowledge it is You, and not us, who knows all things, sees all things, and hears all things. And with the wisdom You provide, we are able to speak to others--sharing with them what You have shared with us--not for our glory, but for Yours alone.

Fill us right now and provide a constant refilling of wisdom and love, running down like the oil used to anoint Aaron, seeping into hearts and minds, so that everywhere we go today, wherever our words are heard or seen--people will recognize You as the Author and Finisher of our faith.

We thank You for allowing the mind of Christ to rule in us by day and by night and that we will endeavor to live in unity--loving one another as You love us--all the days of our lives--recognizing that all who have called upon You are indeed our brothers and sisters in Your family.

We give You all the praise, glory and honor for hearing and answering our prayers because You are the only One worthy of our praise! In Jesus' name, we pray and thank You, Amen!

A Loyal Republican

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--5!

My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore. Psalm 131 NIV
Day Five

Lord Jesus,

Look upon our hearts and see if there is anything in them that is not like You. You know our thoughts long before we ever think them. Cleanse our minds of any thoughts of evil or unrighteousness and plant the seeds of benevolence and compassion everywhere wrong thoughts might have been. Renew in us daily, a fresh desire to please You and to trust You with all the cares that weigh our spirits down. Continue to strengthen us with the Joy of The Lord rising up in us whenever the enemy tries to discourage us.

Thank You for reminding us that our hope--in this life at this moment--is truly in You. We thank You for speaking wisdom to all in positions of authority and decision-making. We thank You for giving us yet another opportunity to inspire right living in all we do.

Lord, I thank You for keeping me focused on doing what must be done without stooping to the levels of ignorance so blatantly betrayed by those who don't know You. I thank You for keeping me mindful that everything I do is a witness to who You are and that I have no desire to shame You. Thank You for gifting us with diverse gifts for us to use to praise You and magnify You in all we do. Thank You for not allowing us to be ashamed before others because of our love for You.

Lord, remove the blinders of hatred and bigotry from those who would plot evil against Your children. Remove the shutters of fear and complacency from our eyes so we might see there are more with us than against us and the battle we face has already been won in the Spirit and will manifest itself to the natural.

Lord, we humble ourselves before You--acknowledging our limited wisdom and Your infinite wisdom and thankful You pour into us always. We know we do not have all the answers, nor do we even have all the questions, but we know because You love us--You are the answer to any question we might ever have.

Give us--the patience--to allow You to work in our lives so that it is to Your glory and honor, we give all the praise and not men. We thank You for working in us and through us so that all will be accomplished to Your glory and we will not be ashamed of the outcome.

For everyone that has a heart to serve You, bless them mightily in the name of Jesus and keep them focused and moving forward to see the end as You have planned it.

And we who Believe--declare that everything we ask for that aligns with Your Word--is done and it is so, in Jesus' name. Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--4!

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;  the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalm 121 NIV
Day Four

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for waking us this morning--with a heart and mind to praise You--to seek Your face while we're able to do so. We know we can look to You to help us in every situation that may arise in our lives--for You are our source--of everything we need. We thank You for watching over us--day and night--never allowing us to slip or slide in the pits of darkness or any of the traps the enemy has laid out for us. We thank You for watching over us as we go in and come out of our homes, our schools, our workplaces and everywhere we go--You make Your presence known.

We thank You for the sun that warms, the moon that shines in the darkness and the stars that cause us to marvel and hope beyond what we see. We thank for the summer heat and rain and the cold that helps to regulate our climate. We thank You for the use of our limbs that work--some days better than others--as we lift our hands in praise of You and use our fingers to spread hope and joy by sharing The Word of encouragement for all who may have a feint heart.

We thank You for a time of silence we use introspection and reflection about we see and do. We thank You for always speaking a word to our hearts--guiding us on our daily mission so we might encourage ourselves and those around us. We thank You for the invention of all the technological platforms that give us avenues to speak up and out against injustices everywhere and to fight against hate and bigotry wherever we see it spring into action.

And most of all--we thank You for not only speaking to the hearts of all who have decisions to make regarding this great, but also for giving them the desire to hear and obey, making the interests of the nation a priority over political party affiliation.

Now, Lord look upon each of us and ignite in us a desire to do all that is right and live a life that is pleasing to You and You alone. If You find anything in us that is not like You, remove it and re-direct our thoughts so we will not bring shame to Your name. Though we are not perfect, we know we serve a perfect God, flawless--omnipotent--merciful and loving, taking of Your imperfect, children.

You, O Lord are all that is Holy, and True and we submit ourselves to Your molding to shape and prune--making us more like You.

In Jesus' name we pray and thank You, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--3!

A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23 NIV
Day Three

Lord,

Just as David saw You as the Great Shepherd, we look to You as the protector of all Your children. For we are--those who truly Believe--the ones we know You will never mislead, abandon, or forsake. We know--if just one of us is lost--You will never give up on us and will lead us back to You. It is because of You, O God, that we can rest each night, knowing the angels You have assigned us are on duty--and will alert of us any impending danger. It is because of You that we can rise each morning, knowing that You will speak to our hearts, warning us and guiding us along the paths You desire us to take. It is because of You that we have no need to fear what the enemy might do, because You prepare us to recognize the tricks of the enemy. It is because of You that we lack nothing, but have everything we need. It is because of You that we can walk with our heads held high, never ashamed of who we are or who You are and all You've done for us. We thank You for anointing our hearts, brimming over with the love You have poured out on us--to love others--unconditionally and filled beyond measure with compassion to fight for the rights of those who are in need and feel the threat of injustice or inequality.

Lord Jesus, it is because of You that we know--when we live our lives in praise of You, goodness and mercy accompany us on our daily journey and we have no need to fear what may happen, for You have ordered our steps and we will obey. We are living in a day when people are doing what's best in their own eyes, but we intercede on their behalf and pray they will hear and obey and see You in all they do.

It is because of You, we can lift our hands in praise of You and know we are covered, from head to toe with blessings from on High, always in position to hear You and obey. Thank You for lifting every burden from our hearts and strengthening us with the joy You have for us. Thank You for giving us a desire to please You in all we do, for we know--that You will give us the desires of our heart. Thank You for speaking to the hearts of all who love You, guiding them in all they do, ready to do always, the right thing as determined by You and not man.
You are the only One worthy of our praise and we give You the glory that belongs only to You. Hallelujah!

All this we ask and thank You for in the name of Jesus, Amen!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise--2!

I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me. Save me, LORD, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues. What will he do to you, and what more besides, you deceitful tongue? He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows, with burning coals of the broom bush. Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek, that I live among the tents of Kedar! Too long have I lived among those who hate peace. I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war. Psalm 120 NIV
Day Two

Lord Jesus,

I know You see all that is done in the earth and hear all that is said. I know that Your Word has said, all that is done in the darkness will be exposed in the light for all to see.

Lord, I ask You to reveal truth to all--Your Truth--the truth that allows us to live in peace, not a war--with anyone or any warring spirit; the truth that opens our hearts wide to receive Your love so we have an abundance of love to share with others; Your Truth that soothes even as it pierces the hearts of demons and those who plot evil; Your Truth that will stop lying lips and tongues in the midst of their mischief; Your Truth that will right all wrongs perpetuated by those who deliberately deceive the masses for personal gain; Your Truth that will shine brightly--high above all the fog of lies and clouds of evil deeds--thought to be hidden.

Lord, I thank You for giving us the courage to be bold--to speak up with clarity and stand against injustice where we find it.

It is to You O Lord, I give the praise! It is to You I give the glory--for You have done so much for us that I will bless Your holy name, now and forever, Amen!

Hope everyone reading has a wonderful day in The Lord--as you continually seek Him and thank Him for guiding you in all that you do!

30 Days of Prayer and Praise!

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.“Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91 NIV
Day One!

I will be spending the next 30 days in prayer for the sake of our nation and all Americans who truly love The Lord and praising Him--for all I know He's doing on our behalf--in spite of what appearances may cause us to think. The Lord loves those of us who are diligently serving and obeying Him in whatever capacity that is as He has directed us. I encourage any and all to join me for this dedicated 30 days of prayer and praise of our God! Every daily blog will start with a prayer based upon a Psalm and end with a praise to the Only Wise God!

The Lord is my refuge--the place where I know I am safe.

He is my fortress--with a relationship solidly constructed to protect me against the tricks of the enemy.

I am covered--with the blood of Jesus--the symbol of His love--against which nothing the enemy attempts  to do shall prosper or harm me.

Though I see the faith of some waver and falter in the midst of the storm, I will stand firm on His Word.

Nothing I see or hear shall deter me from serving My God--the creator of all that was ever created and without whom, nothing was created.

When I call upon Him, He shall hear and answer because He knows my love for Him is wider than the widest stretch of land, deeper than the deepest ocean, and my praise for all He has done and will do for those who love Him, rises higher than the highest mountain.

And because of His great love for all who cast all their cares upon Him, He will save us in our hour of need, rescue us from the plots of evil that many may plan, and cause our faith to soar like eagles--seeking higher ground--far away from those who would harm us.

Great is His faithfulness towards us--His Children--and we can have confidence in the knowledge that He will never leave us or forsake! Hallelujah! There is none like Him, no one else who can do what He does that we might know of His love!

Thank You, Lord for Your love, grace and mercy that accompany us--all the days of our lives!

Ignoring The Obvious!

Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country. Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed. The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. The LORD will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him. The LORD will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess. The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish. The sky over your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. The LORD will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed. The LORD will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth. Deuteronomy 28:14-25 NIV
When we choose to ignore God, we choose to be the recipients of His Word--whether it is a blessing or a curse; it is our choice that determines what happens to us in life.

For the unbelieving--they won't care because they don't believe and won't believe; God's Word means nothing to them except to be an object of scorn and derision. And Believers--true Believers (not those professing to be Christians but have no demonstrable fruit as proof of who they are), should know we cannot afford to ignore God--and the obvious--the benefits or the consequences. For God's Word was given to man for our benefit that we might stand in righteousness and be a beacon of light and hope for the unbelieving. The problem is--if our behavior and conduct is no different than what the unbelievers do--why would they pay attention to us?

Let's look at the world of the unbelieving--they lie to get what they want, will cheat others, plot conspiracies to destroy reputations, in the corporate world and in communities. People get caught up on wanting titles and positions and status and will do anything to get what they want. Hollywood accentuates the life of the unbelieving as the means to crush the opposition and to control what others do.

In every day life--we see the results of corporate corruption and greed and when greed needs to be fed, everything in its path becomes food to soothe the craving. Big companies swallow up the little ones without regard to the people who must eek out a living--the best they can and when that becomes problematic, the people--turn to whatever is available--drugs, alcohol, bribery, more corruption--just to survive. And if they ever had a conscience, many turn to suicide--not willing to face themselves or what they've done or others and what they've done.

In the church buildings (because many have forgotten they are the church), many end up making the church leaders their god, and will do everything the leader wants them to do in order to maintain an avenue to move forward. Those claiming to be Christians will lie and mislead, promoting untruths to pacify a leader who has turned aside from God. Church leaders have been guilty of predatory behavior, sexually and financially; they have cheated the people they lead and planted the seeds of corruption by convincing others to do what they say and to treat others with disdain. The behavior of the leaders have led to public scrutiny and lawsuits and growing unbelief in the leaders, church and God.

Why is this occurring across the land? We have ignored the obvious--we stopped obeying God and chose to obey the lust of the flesh and to follow the leaders who don't know God. So we should not be amazed that the consequences of our actions are bringing the Word to life in a way that we can no longer ignore God's Word. If we ever plan to see a change in this world, it is time to turn aside--from everything and everyone--from ignoring God. We can no longer afford to not make God a priority in our lives.

But is it too late? Have we already set the stage for the next act that brings about our destruction for all the world to see? We are on the precipice--overlooking a cliff--with a depth we cannot see with our physical eyes, and once we go over--there is no help, no return--no other chance to get things right with God.

God has said in His Word that only a remnant will be saved from the destruction the enemy has plotted for all who ignore God. Are we included in the remnant? Have we maintained a right relationship with God, securing our destination and eternity to live with Him? Or have we ignored the obvious by choosing to make men and women our gods, following them instead of God?

Though The Word of God applies to anyone who Believes it--regardless of nationality or ethnicity--I believe we can see God speaking directly to Americans at this intersection in our history. Which way will we go? Will we continue to follow lying leaders or will we rise up and take a stand to give God His rightful place in our lives and speak up for justice?

It's up to us--we all have to choice to make and I pray our choice is God, not men, and we will stop ignoring the obvious.
