30 Days of Prayer and Praise--16!

Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts. May the LORD silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—those who say, “By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”“Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will protect them from those who malign them.” And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race. Psalm 12 NIV
Day 16

Lord,

You see the chaos and the hostility displayed among the nations and You know that peace is not possible without love and genuine compassion for others. Help us O Lord, to see us how You see us in moments of uncertainty, doubt and crisis. Create in us a desire to change--for the better--so all will know we belong to You.

Until the day we return to You, keep our minds stabilized and focused on all You would have us to do. Give us strength and courage to do what must be done in trying times in order to protect the rights of the poor and the needy.

Lord, we declare victory in every area of our lives--and that You and You alone are worthy of our praise. We give You glory and honor because it all belongs to You, not a man or a woman, but to You, O God.

As we continue to move forward--with our feet firmly planted on the path You have determined for us, and our hearts rooted and grounded in Your Word--we receive the continued wisdom You pour into us that we might know how to approach every situation and have an answer for all who question our love for You.

Lord, we thank You for choosing all who love You who will do what You speak to our hearts to do for the benefit of all mankind.

In Jesus' name, we ask and thank You, Amen!
