Those Things Do!

"Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." (Philippians 4:9)

"Those Things...What an admonition!  If Paul didn't teach it or we didn't receive it from Him, or we didn't hear him say it (in the Word), or we didn't see him do it, we shouldn't be doing it.  And then we wonder why we don't have peace!

Saints of God, let's strive to do only those things we have learned in The Word, have received from The Word, have heard from The Word, and have seen in The Word using Godly Wisdom to make that determination.  Then we can be assured of the peace promised to us at all times. 

Lord, help us to do all those things You would have us to do, to Your glory!
