"He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness" (Job 33:26 NKJV).
From
the oldest book in the bible, we see the testimony of one, who God
allowed to be tested. Think about this, God allowed Satan to throw Job
in the turbulence of loss--things, children, and almost lost his faith
in God by listening to others. And in this verse--a pronouncement is
made by Elihu to others about what to do in turbulent times--pray, God
will delight him, and man shall see His face with joy!
When
we think things are getting too much for us handle; don't lose sight of
those things that God has already done for others; He will do them for
us since He is not a respecter of persons. When we pray, with sincerity and not doubt, God delights in us and answers our prayers. Sometimes, the answer is not what we expected, but it is what we need.
Righteousness
has been restored to mankind through the blood of Jesus, but not many
understand this and think they are righteous of themselves. We have no
righteousness for there is none righteous, other than God. But when He
takes pleasure in us, He puts us into right standing with Him, restoring broken fellowship with Him and giving us access to boldly come before Him with our prayer petitions.
Don't
get discouraged when life is not always what you want it to be! Get
ignited and stirred up enough to seek God and what He wants your life to
be. God has a plan for our lives, and when we seek Him, He delights in our faith in Him, responds to our prayers, shows us the life He desires for us and when we are obedient to Him, we receive all we have asked for according to His Word.
Hallelujah! We shall see His face with joy when we behold Him on that great day! I'm looking forward to that great day, with great anticipation of hearing "well done" and seeing the joy in His face because of His delight in me.
Are you looking forward to that day?
