Has That Day Come?

In that day they will say, sure this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation. Isaiah 25:9
Have we reached a point in our collective lives where we can, "This is our God" and we trust Him?

With all of the negative reports from around the world--of violence, abuse, deception, corruption, greed, and malice--have we figured out yet, that without God in our lives, these things will continue to happen and many will be destroyed?

Leaders of nations will be destroyed when they forget to protect their people and have no reverence for the God of Heaven.

Leaders in government will be mocked and disrespected when they have no reverence for God and live according to the dictates of their flesh and encourage others to do the same.

Leaders in churches will be exposed for the lies they've taught and the greed that resides in their hearts because they do not teach truth and make a mockery of the Gospel.

Leaders in homes will be ignored because they expect others to do as they say, but they are not the examples that God would have them to be.

We have an obligation and an opportunity to get living right for The Lord, but the real question remains, has that day come?

When we all--people of all nations, races, ethnic backgrounds and beliefs--realize that there is a God in Heaven, our Creator and Maker, who desires that we live in peace and prosper as our soul prospers--then we can say, that day is here and we can enjoy the benefits of all He has for us.

On that day, we will know that our salvation is in Him and it is in Him we trust--not the might of a military or our own wisdom, but in wisdom received from Him to glorify Him at all times!
