"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Fear
is a spirit that lives in those who do not know how to love
unconditionally (perfect-unconditional-love casts out fear). God has
not given us this spirit, but we know who has--the spirit that provokes hatred of all God has for His children.
God has given us a spirit (that moves on the inside) of power--the ability to overcome any obstacle and to be victorious over any adversity; a spirit of love--for
He is love and can do nothing other than what He is--so we can love
unconditionally all with whom we come into contact; and a spirit of a sound mind--when
we submit to The Holy Spirit and allow Him to regulate our thinking, we
think the right thoughts and as we think, so we become ("as a man
thinks, so is he").
There are two reigning spirits in the
atmosphere that provoke us into doing things--one provokes us to do what
is right and to love and the other--creates in us fear, doubt, hatred
and the inability to think right thoughts in order to do them. Which
spirit reigns in you?
If you haven't already received the Holy
Spirit as a living testimony in your life, do so now and watch how your
life changes to the glory of God! Hallelujah!
